PATRIOTS: NEVADA NEEDS YOUR HELP RIGHT NOW. PLEASE CONTACT THESE POLITICIANS AND JOURNALISTS

I sent this letter to my MeetUp, but please. Patriots from around the country...Nevada needs your help, and we need it now. We have 300 RSVPs for the June Convention and we only need 375 more! If we form a quorum we will do a great service for Nevada and for the country.

Fellow Republicans:

I encourage everyone to go to the June 28th Delegate-Sponsored Convention in Reno, NV. For more information please visit www.nevadagopconvention.c....

On April 26th, 2008 Chairwoman Lowden improperly recessed the State Convention without a discussion or a vote.

Yesterday, just like you, I received a letter from Chairwoman Lowden. The letter asks me for $35.00 and goes on to state:

“Party officials do not want delegates to come from all across the state and then find we do not have a quorum. We will notify delegates as soon as we are assured of a quorum or it appears that we will not be able to reach one.”

The second page of the letter then asks if I would prefer a mail-in ballot rather than reconvening. It should be readily apparent to everyone now that the State GOP Leadership has absolutely no intention of reconvening the State Convention. It simply isn’t in the interests of the establishment for delegates to the State Convention to fairly elect their representatives to the National Convention.

I’ve been volunteering for Ron Paul for approximately 12 months. Since that time I’ve seen my fellow volunteers endure great hardship and financial pain in an effort to secure their natural-born rights. It is my belief that the Delegate-Sponsored Convention on June 28th will attract the delegates necessary for a quorum, and that this event will serve as the catalyst for all Liberty-Loving Republicans across the Southwest. But we need your help to do this. This isn’t about Ron Paul anymore. What our State Party Leaders did was wrong, and they must be held accountable. We are the only ones in the entire State of Nevada that are in the position to do so. It is our responsibility, and it is our duty to ensure that every State Convention from this point forward is conducted in a fair manner that is in accordance with the Law and with State Party Rules. The only way we can achieve this is if we stand up for our rights, and set the precedent that the rank and file of the Republican Party will not tolerate any misconduct on part of the Republican Party Leadership.

It would be a great honor for hundreds of Republicans who have already RSVPed for the June 28th Delegate-Sponsored Convention that you attend as well. We need you. Nevada needs you. Your Country needs you.

If you need financial assistance we have solutions for you. We have rooms blocked at a reduced rate. We have dozens of Vans and RVs trekking up to Reno. We also have donors who would be pleased to help you get to Reno for the June 28th Delegate-Sponsored Convention. Please e-mail me at Jason@corp-bmsh.com if you need help. I will put you in contact with the appropriate person. If you have any questions about the June 28th Delegate-Sponsored Convention you may call (775) 331-2662 or e-mail info@NevadaGOPconvention.com.

In addition I ask that you contact the local media. There has been a virtual media blackout in the Southern Nevada area aside from two Articles authored by Molly Ball, and one Ralston Newsflash.

Our leaders will not “get it” unless you stand up and tell them. I urge you to contact every Republican elected official, every Republican Party official, and every journalist…and tell them you support the June 28th Delegate-Sponsored Convention, and that you think what the Party Leaders did to the delegates was wrong. I want you to stand up and I want you to tell them exactly how you feel.

- Jason Holloway

Republican Grassroots Activist and Supporter of the June 28th Republican Delegate-Sponsored Convention.

The finish line is quickly approaching

Please take 1/2 hour out of your busy day and make a few phone calls.
Seriously, if you are a delegate and not intending to attend....rethink your position. There will be no July 26th and your voice will not be heard and your vote not counted. Someone has been asking about when will there be a line in the sand...it is now for me. This could be the start of a true reform/revolution and we must make it so.

When I saw the tactics in Sue Lowen's letter and the rsvp/questionaire attached, I knew they are doing everything within their power...and never doubt they have power...to obstruct our efforts. Can we allow this? NO.
This is a HUGE opportunity, don't listen to naysayers and those who would rather go to a barbeque. Be a part of history....bring cameras and audio...show the country what a transparent and legally operated convention can be. People have become so accustomed to dirty politics, they don't even think it is wrong anymore, apparently.

IT'S DOABLE

A LOT!

I can't count them; there's too many :-)

How many delegates

How many delegates committed?

.. PLEASE CALL

IT IS ONLY ABOUT10 but if any of them are delegates, and we get just one it would be worth it...Please to any one else who wants to call these guys, have your facts in front of you, so you can literally read them. These politicians know how to lie in their sleep, so you have to have all the truth right in front of you so you can nail them between the eyes with it...

http://www.nevadagopconve...

IF YOU WANT TO TRY AND DIGG UP SOME DELEGATES...PLEASE CALL THESE ELECTED STATE SENATORS...We don't know for sure but we think there are some state delegates there in the list...

THEY CAN BE CONFRONTED ...If they are all cowards and hacks..then lets give them a chance to be that, or maybe , we might get a couple onto our "side" . for I have a feeling that most of them do not digg for the truth, they do what they are told, only leaders digg for truth, and make intelligent choices based on that truth....When calling or emailing them please point that out....and let them respond(that is if your fortunate enough to get them on the phone)

please post your results...its only 10....(well 11 if you count BOB...well you should call him, just to invite his lying ass)

http://www.leg.state.nv.u...

Please call them up and find out....then ask them if they will come to the convention in Reno on June 28th, if they ask why should they/is it legal etc. please have your facts in front of you(ie http://www.nevadagopconve... ) We must ask and be firm in our knowledge and truth about our facts....I bet many of them(if any are actually delegates/alternates) are only making decisions based on what they are told, not based on the truth. have this also in front of you so you can quote Roberts Rules of order to them....

On Page 224 of Robert's Rules of Order - Newly Revised 10th Edition it says this about a Recess:

3. Is out of order when another has the floor.
4. Must be seconded.
5. Is not debatable.
6. Is amendable as to the length of the recess; any such amendment is undebatable.
7. Requires a majority vote.
8. Cannot be Reconsidered

You might also add that you heard that KOH news commentators were saying that McCain doesn't have enough popularity to pull off the nomination at the GOP National Convention, etc, so all delegates should be at the June 28th Delegates Convention to perhaps be the first State to get the message and make history. If I were sitting on the fence, I would sure want to be there to make sure my vote counted...wouldn't you?

Suggested Talking Points: 1)

Suggested Talking Points:

1) Mention the June 28th Delegate-Sponsored Convention as often as possible.

2) Mention that the Convention Belongs To The Delegates.

3) Mention that Sue Lowden improperly recessed the convention without a vote, and that according to Robert’s Rules of Order a recess requires a majority vote.

4) Mention that the delegate-sponsored convention will be entirely legal if we get a quorum.

We are hearing reports that

We are hearing reports that clark county GOP's phone is practically ringing off the hook. Keep up the good work!

We have a solid core of

We have a solid core of about 300 people who have committed to going. We have radio ads airing all over Nevada. We have phone banks with dozens of volunteers working very hard to identify and communicate to delegates. We have some decent exposure in the media up North, but there is a virtual media blackout in the South in the Las Vegas area. We just got a major endorsement from the Nevada Republican Assembly, a grassroots activist organization that is a pretty significant force in the Reno area, and as members all over Nevada. We have blast e-mails going out to every out to Ron Paul Republicans. The party has blast e-mails going out offering competing dates. We received an automated phone call from the Clark County Chair to attend a fundraising BBQ on the same date as the delegate sponsored convention. They are also calling many of our leaders and pressuring them not to attend in subtle ways. We are having an impact, but we need your help. We can win this, but we really need the help of all patriots around the country.

We have a very good chance at getting a quorum, but we will fail unless we get some media exposure. If we can have more help alerting the journalists in Southern Nevada about the June 28th convention we will have a fighting chance. There is a virtual media blackout in Southern Nevada. I am not kidding. We've only had Molly Ball and Jon Ralston give brief mentions of it.

This is big big news.

I don't know if it was mentioned here yet or not

But Sue Lowden and her Suits....sounds like a good act for Las Vegas and appropro to Sue's business holdings within the gaming industry, sent out a letter of inquiry basically asking who will be attending their reconvene date at a cost of $35 a head to help with the added costs. Further stating, and this is the part which really, really angered me: "We will also have to pay for extra security due to the concerns about safety so many delegates have expressed as a result of the earlier session." First, they called an improper recess without any warning and in the middle of a vote count (how illegal is that?), then, Sue had her suits running up and down the aisles shouting "Leave, everyone leave....McCain people leave." Now keep in mind, the night before there had been a 4.7 magnitude earthquake and people were a bit jittery anyway. The real reason? The votes were going to Ron Paul delegates overwhelmingly. It was not true that we couldn't stay in the room because over 500 of us did and were able to easily extend the rental time. Lies, sorry but I have to call 'em as I see 'em.

I'm surprised that the casino would face possible lawsuit this way by allowing this to happen without proper notification and that the "leadership" would not call for a vote for recess, which would have made it legal. They also turned off the lights and the mic....I saw scared faces and it is was not because the delegates, all delegates including McCain people, were shouting mad because of this action, but because of the urgent message they were getting to "leave." What is someone had tripped over the debris which had gathered in the aisles from cups, etc? Or someone had had a heart attack, and now they are claiming it was the Ron Paul people who were the insurgents. It doesn't work for me, and yet, I bet not a day goes by but what I hear it on the radio, see it in written print...or on TV. We must make very certain that wherever we gather, we are peaceful and watch for those who are agent provocateurs putting the blame on us. That's what we might need security for....them, not us, imo.

So then Sue goes on to say that many want mail-in ballots....don't fall for that ploy. An overwhelming 2/3 majority vote was made so that the votes for delegates would come from floor nomination, not a pre-prepared slate made by some unknown electins committee and voting in this manner had already begun, I think mail-in would be very illegal. What about the votes already cast and yet to be counted and the votes already counted...nope, not feasible or even fair. What I believe they really want to do is just submit the slate they had tried to pass off in the first place and which was voted down.

So, on the signup page you have an option of signing up and enclosing your check (Sue and the GOP should pay for this in my opinion, she caused this problem), or you can opt for a mail-in ballot rather than the date they are suggesting in July and save you money and time, making sure they have also scared people by saying they need to pay for lots of security.

I've got news for them....the convention will have been completed on June 28th and the delegates, who now have the power to nominate and continue the convention, will not need their input at all. I stress, the June 28th Convention is FREE to delegates and media and everyone will enjoy the Grand Sierra Resort.

I am so there! Join me and get the word out. We have only 9 days left. Focus.
