the candidate that is closest to my principles. At this time it seems to be Baldwin, but I am still hoping that a miracle occurs and that McCain somehow reveals his true colors, and is ousted, and Ron Paul is put in as the Republican Nominee.

if you listened closely it was Neil Cavuto's question, he raised the issue and NOT Barr. On the question whether Paul would give some of his millions left to Barr, Barr responded - correctly - that they have their own online campaign, some of whom have worked for Paul earlier, which is true.
Barr was not arrogant at all. It is Neil Cavuto that asked these questions.

Barr should show confidence about receiving votes from the Paul, and he knows he has to work. Sure he does not have Dr. Paul's voting record, but represents - since 2004 - basically the same as Dr. Paul. Barr does not strike me as an arrogant person at all (but Root is very much arrogant and I do not trust him, but he will luckily not play any significant role and should concentrate on the online poker player vote).

The Campaign for Liberty is the most important. For those who want to contribute, it is perhaps the best to split your contributions to C4L and to Barr, e.g. not all to Barr. With the C4L we can actually be successful in getting a few Ron Paul congressmen and women elected this year, though a good showing by Barr is also important.

I am organizer of 2 RP meet up groups and none and I mean zero of the members will support Barr. Baldwin has way more support that Barr but not one member said they were budging from the Ron Paul strategy.

Ron Paul likes Bob Barr, and thats enough for me.

I haven't commented before but thought you might want to know how my vote will go. I have supported Ron Paul through donations and still have two bumper stickers on my car.....but I want my vote to count. I will not vote third party , Paul even said it was futile to run as a third party candidate and will not write in Ron Paul's name since he doesn't want us to. Instead, I am biting the bullet and voting for Obama. I can no longer support this administrations actions and I feel voting for McCain is just that.
I am not a troll but just an observer of the movement. Good luck on making your own choice but mine is made up at this time unless there is a major shift in the Republican platform.

How did he "[act] as though he was 'due'" anything? He never said anything like that. Your interpretation -- made without even offering a link for people to judge for themselves -- is a complete stretch made just to give you an opportunity to spew divisive nonsense. He never said anything about "trolling" -- he said he was reaching out through the internet. Stop exaggerating. Your bias is clear.

What we need is not obnoxious, divisive attacks on legitimate "post-Paul" options. What we need is people to come together and focus on making our strength felt in November and beyond. While we may not be able to have "unity" behind one candidate, we must have civility. Bob Barr, Chuck Baldwin, "none of the above;" these are not the enemies. These are our allies. A friendly, reasoned debate is OK. Drivel where you fabricate/exaggerate multiple things, and then throw in your loaded words like "pompous," "assuming," and "trolling," are not welcome.

I'll say no more on this, because I don't want this type of infighting "bumped." May this thread die, along with the vitriol being spewed.

If that was indeed what he said, than yes, that's a very shameful attitude.

Rather than being welcoming and begging, if anybody is being arrogant and assuming, they've lost my support (at least financially).

I have my opinion but I would love to hear yours. If we need to choose someone other than Ron Paul, who is you choice and why?

P.S. I'm still hoping for common sense at the convention but one never knows what will happen.

Cavuto says Barr's polling at 3% now, well below Nader. So much for getting into the debates.

You still haven't offered a solution if Ron Paul isn't the nominee.Were going to do our best to try and make that happen, but there's a great chance that that won't happen considering the base of the Republicans are currently and openly trying to disaffiliate themselves with Paul. You've called a bunch of people trolls for stating our opinions on the most likely presidential candidate scenarios, but you get defensive when we ask you for yours and you respond with no response other than "your a troll". So if Ron isn't a nominee, who's your man?

You have a ton of opinions about the rest us because we don't have a clue as what to do., so what is your plan? Unless your a very good shot or God wants to step in, McInSane is the republican candidate. So what do you propose we do then? I can't wait to hear your plan. Please let the rest of us know what we can do.

Well, I've tried to make the best out of our situation without Ron Paul running for president. If you want to vote for Baldwin that's fine (if he's even on your state ballot), or you can write in Ron Paul which is useless, or you can vote for a man who may not be an identical copy of the one and only Ron Paul, but who will most get our views out into the public's eye and that's fine too. I wish we all could come to an agreement, but I'm voting for the best chance we have of giving wide exposure to our ideals of a non-interventionist foreign policy, limited government, and fiscal responsibility, and that man is Bob Barr. Goodnight, and keep fighting for liberty, everyone.

Where was his support or donations for Dr. Paul his good friend when it was needed? Now, he thinks he can just waltz in with his admitted trolls and we are going to go running in his direction? It looks like he miscalculated our conviction to knowing what we want and going after it. If he was really serious about this Revolution he and his supporters would be jumping in to join us and the CFL and continue supporting his "friend" Ron Paul all the way through.
