In addition to joining the CFL, Campaign for Liberty, you'll want to check out JBS, the John Birch Society at www.jbs.org. BTW, Dr Paul and Dr Baldwin are the main speakers at the 50th anniversary dinner for JBS in October.

I think you'll want to join the JBS and subscribe to their most excellent magazine, The New American. In fact, when many of the Washington State meet-up leaders all gathered in one place to listen to a JBS presenttion, nearly all of them joined JBS on the spot!

are much closer in line with mine, and I did hear Ron Paul say that Baldwin's platform was closest to his. I am leaning towards Baldwin over Barr and making my decision based on principles, and not on name recognition for any candidate. I will be donating to Baldwin's campaign. I will say I do not like his stance on gambling, but then again every State has the right to have gambling, and I do not believe that a President has authority over that.

We have to care about this election now before it is too late. We need to start unifying and spreading the word around now before it's too late to have an impact at all. We can work on both things at once, Paulette. This election only comes once every 4 years so we have to make the most of the opportunity we have to further for our movement as best we can. We can't wait until after the Paul convention to start making plans. By then We missed debates, missed opportunities for conversions, and missed showing our strength.

Not answered JustCantEatEnough the reason is this. I have answered that question twice here on the DP directly towards him. He/she doesn't seem to remember the thrashing I delivered to it so it keeps asking me the same question over and over again. Plus I made a truce with jack on not assaulting pro bubbles,baldwins, anti-Pauls,9-11 truther's, or anyone. I support my local Ron Paul supporters.

IT'S DOABLE

This fall's goal should be to spread our message to as many as people possible via as many communication outlets as possible including the MSM. We are trying to get as many converts into our movement in order to bring about change in the shortest amount of time possible. In order to bring about adherence to the Constitution faster, we need unify behind one candidate for the long term implications of our movement. Long term people, were not thinking short term. We may need to sacrifice a little in the short term to reap the greatest return in the future just like any other investment.

Ok, now i understand your position. Now we can have a discussion. I am not criticizing you, but like Paul does, I am criticizing your philosophy. The problem I see with the plan of everyone voting on their conscious is that our vote is going to go completely fragmented and unnoticed with a very minimal chance of converting a large number of people. If we do that than definitely no one is getting in on the debates, no one is going to receive the majority of our movements monetary contributions which basically makes the money donated useless, no one is going to get any exposure in the media because of everyone's low support. If we all get behind Barr then his poll numbers will rise which will give our basic principles more exposure in the media and very possible acceptance into the debates. The more exposure we get the higher the number of revolution converts we receive which is the best thing for our movement. The more converts we get the more our movement accelerates. Barr will be in 48-49 state ballots so the vast majority of us have the opportunity to vote for him. What say you?

I like Baldwin too, but it looks like I can't vote for him unless I write him in and I agree with Ron Paul that there is no point in writing in someone as the results of those votes will likely not even be tabulated. The LP has ballot access in my state so Barr will be on the ballot and I will vote for him although if I had a choice I'd probably support Baldwin.

Sarge, I'm trying to bring discussion to find a united plan of action this fall. I've offered my plan and have clearly stated why I think we should be united in voting for Barr. You've stated many times you hate Barr, but you NEVER offer a better solution for the furthering of our cause. All i ever hear form you is calling him a Neo-con and then proceeding to call me a troll. What do you suggest we do this fall if you don't think we should stand behind Barr in order to bring about awareness to our cause. So far, Sarge, I haven't heard any constructive idea come from any of your posts.

Sarge I know you hate Barr. I understand that. Do you have a better plan for our situation? That's all I want to know. Who should we all follow? I just want to hear your plan for this election, and why we should vote for your candidate. I'm up for any and all ideas that furthers our cause to the largest extent possible. I hope your plan is better so all of us can jump on board and bring awareness to our agenda because that would unite us all. I've asked you multiple time for a better strategy than following Barr (which I've articulated many times) but you have yet to give me an resemblance of an answer.

1. As far as I know, he has held no previous political office. Some might think this is an asset, but its not, particularly for getting votes from the uniformed, intuition based voter.

2. His previous connection with the moral majority makes me question his priorities (same as Barrs former associations do)

3. his current association with Vdare - there is a racist edge to his anti-immigration stances, certainly it could be spun this way.

4. His talk about NWO - while I might agree with some of it, over all it seems a bit reactionary and over the top.

5. It is difficult for anyone to trust a radio preacher.

Now, I do think that Baldwin is certainly the person for the truthers and the white supremicists to support.

but i Do have some concerns. I wasn't crazy about his suggestion of harsh federal prosecution of employers who hire illegal immigrants. And I am not sure where he stands on important social issues, like the War on Drugs.
