Jesse Ventura for President

I'm currently reading his book and I've watched a few recent videos on Youtube. At times, whether he knows it or not, he is directly quoting Ron Paul. So far the only topic I've noticed which may be different than RP's platform is immigration. He talks about the gold standard, needless war (as a former Navy SEAL and Vietnam Vet), loss of liberty, media complex, etc...

I am a former minnesota resident, and I actually voted for him in the governor's race in 1998. Though I think he made some mistakes, he was refreshing, and maintained the ability to project discussion outside the narrow gamut of the Republicrat pendulum.

When Obama was first on the rise, he seemed to be challenging the establishment and saying things that needed to be said... but once he got into the primary race proper, the democratic party sucked him right back in and he was playing only to win the primary and not raise important issues. He became a regular cookie-cutter candidate again, with no strong views in my estimation. You can be assured that Ventura wouldn't do this.

Anyway, I don't think he'll run because he can't get ballot access in all 50 states, which is one of the reasons RP said he wouldn't run as an independent (isn't the democratic process wonderful?). I was going to write in RP rather than vote for McBama, but if Jesse runs I will vote for him with a clean conscience.

I am German but I like that post and Jesse Ventura for President with Ron Paul for Vice President.

JV's book is titled: "Don't start the revolution without me"

But where was he? Was he very involved in our revolution or is there some other revolution going on that he's referring to?

I suppose I need to go and buy his book to find out.

and what he says about it. No commitments until Dr. Paul steps forward.

But.. I think he is running for Senate. And has shown no interest in the presidency.

I was a big pusher of this idea when I thought it still had a chance. The title of his book almost captures the essences of his potential candidacy perfectly. "Don't start the Revolution without Me"??? Sorry Jessie, the train left the station were have yo been? Best of luck to him whatever he does. Now if he will only decide. He may run for Senate if so I hope we wins it. This movement needs more allies taking seats in both Houses.

The problem is that his timing is at least two and more likely four months behind, and that affects ballot acess.

And yes, I've read the book, and the last chapter lays out a possible winning strategy.

I thought I was on the DailyPAUL site. Now we even promote people who don't promote themselves and aren't even in the race? If it was something this politician wanted, I would assume he would have taken some action by now. Focus folks, our job is not done yet.
