We get word about three weeks ago Ron Paul is going to be pressured to drop out of the race, a few days ago he suspends his campaign, he will not endorse Barr nor Baldwin. It seems to me, this does not fit. Not because I am a drama junkie, but it does not add up. He has not told his delegates what to do, that is not like him. It seems to me, he is kind of telling us in a not so telling way to stay the path to get him elected, but he is really not at liberty to say this. Now I know some will say, they would have pressured him out earlier. They knew he wouldn't have done that with the fire we had behind us. Do you think they said, hey if you drop, we will get you some news coverage to promote your new campaign for liberty? All the meanwhile, he has pretended to end his campaign, knowing our delegates will still charge the gate at the Convention. He is just being more vague about this issue than he has anything else, so I can't help but think he knows we will still charge ahead becoming delegates.

It's some interesting conjecture but I think McCain will
continue to do whatever his handlers tell him to do. If that means dropping out or refusing to accept the nomination or kissing GWB's shoes or telling the conservative wing of the GOP to take a hike, then I'm confident he will click his heels together and obey. I do agree with the writer that such an open convention would not only be good theatre, making for irresistable TV coverage, but probably the best thing that could happen to the GOP at this point.
And as we've come to expect...

He tested the waters...He found out who was with him. He realized that real change can't be achieved the way the system is setup now. He realizes that a new system (based on the old system) must be put in place and that WE are to be its cornerstones.

"We will still have delegates at the convention." And from what I understand he used the words "suspend" "wind down" So I think we still do what we have been doing. Just under the guise of "The Campaign for Liberty" Who know maybe he will get back in. Maybe alot of sleepers will wake up and realize how important the message is and how bad this country needs him and turrn away from the lesser of two evils and ask him to step up.
He does know what he is doing
he has seen how the game is played. We need to keep our focus and not be lulled into some false freedom message that won't change anything at the core of what needs to be changed. He has a game plan and if we are smart we need to trust that and stay on his team.

b) Howard Dean Crazy Moment
c) Republican Party wises up and throws him out
d) His Manchurian chip glitches leaving him in a vegetative state
e) The media exposes the puppets strings
f) His real war history gets reported

h) The NWO gets anxious before september and starts a premature smear campaign

Although (a) is perhaps a possibility, I certainly do not wish
it upon him, but (b) thru (h) are possibilities and, of course (i) is the most desirable result. The most telling political cartoon I've seen lately shows an elephant (labeled: GOP) pointing a pistol to his head, presumably ready to pull the trigger. The pistol is labeled: McCain. That is one picture that is certainly worth at least a thousand words.

It is
not a fact that the "delegates would go to Romney first" if McCain drops out.
If McCain is out for any reason, then there are not enough remaining delgates in anyone's camp to keep the convention from being brokered.
The first round will have the "bound" vote, which will yield no majority for any candidate.
Then the delegates are unbound and can vote any way they want.
If McCain is out prior to the convention, or whatever, then it's all up for grabs.
We need ALL our delegates there to vote for RP.
Yes, I know the system is corrupt, but if they try to pull anything funny, it's going to be on worldwide TV in front of everybody.
This is why all these neocons are coming here to stump for Barr.
Barr is their "pressure relief valve" so that they can get some of us to go over there to Barr, and hopefully take the pressure off of what is going to happen at the GOP convention.
Romney sold out to McCain and the RNC
in my opinion and even though his candidacy is only suspended as is Ron Paul's, he has been stumping for McCain. He showed up at the NV Convention back in April and I understand he has spoken at other State Convention. At the Nevada Convention, I actually found I felt sorry for him. He seemed almost embarrassed for himself in this role, acted like a poor standup comedian, and appeared sort of "broken." I think he has been promised something because I don't think he much likes McCain, but because he did this, in my mind, he lost a lot of face. Romney's out.

That's what drove me CRAZY at our convention here in Washington state when Congressman David Reichert said he was happy to see us all there to 'unite' behind McCain! Not once, not TWICE, but THRICE!!!!!!!!!! HE SAID THE SAME **** THING 3 TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!! You'd think he would have learned by all our booing and chanting "Ron Paul" that not EVERYONE is ready to "coronate" McCain!!!!!!
Then later at lunch, a McCain supporter asked some of us what we hoped to "accomplish" by being there. I think we could've asked the same thing of her!!! I kind of wish I had!!!!

But hmmm is promoting the campaign for liberty actually campaigning for another presidential candidate? What should they have against a campaign for liberty? Like to see them sqirm out of that question. "What! You do'nt want liberty? Almost all of my shirts are Ron Paul shirts. My only hat is too. Too many stickers on my car. It might fall apart if I take them all off lol Who know where what could happen. People see me with my shirts all the time and make comments like,"He's the only one that made any sense" Great to hear but but who did you vote for? I think they are looking back now realizing what little they got to hear from him was better than all the mouth they heard from the others.

I thought it most odd tonight in the Beck-less interview when he said HE was the one that would be talking votes from Obama and not from McCain. He also had an odd line in the same part, when he said something like, ..I will have to listen again..but it was something like he was the conservative people really wanted to vote for. It is all most odd. Like a lot of everything else..lol

By suspending his campaign Ron Paul is getting more publicity for his "under the radar" campaign.
Why is the MSM giving RP more interviews and more respect? Whenever things don't add up, I always follow the money trail.
Obama and McCain's campaign is stagnant. For their own sakes the less they say the better. So take the heat off from these 2 non-issue debaters.
The MSM needs some new political blood for their ratings and advertisers.They are confident their hand picked prez is in the bag, guaranteeing them 4 more years of corporate welfare.
RP is no longer a threat, so lets make some money for the advertisers. After all, RP had over 1 million voters, that is a captive audience. Ron Paul is good for ratings (all of those emails) and that attracts advertisers.
But to our advantage, some more sheeple get to hear that sweet sound of freedom for the first time. MSM's greed is the achilles heel which could turn this country around. God willing, with a small miracle.
PS: Could it be that MSM caught wind of a possible Cable TV disconnect by viewers who were disgusted with MSM's biased campaign coverage?

I haven't heard any fat lady sing yet and all of this diluting of effort and thought by continuously bringing up 3rd party candidates who don't have a chance, is counter-productive. I think it's because he never dreamed of the response his campaign would get, especially among young people. Who would've thought when his campaign began that the Federal Reserve, for instance, would become a topic of conversation among so many (and an item of contempt as well, I might add). His campaign has been a huge success, and if something unexpected happens and we have a little more success in the near future, well, that's just gravy imo. More than gravy I hope.:)
