In regard to health care being delivered by the government... spend some time checking into the VA. The help you get there will give you a hint where this is going... a ill informed voter in a democracy is just as dangerous as a dictatorship!

THe Housing "Rescue" Bill... sounds so good doesn't it.... just like the Patriot Act. It's another boondoggle! Who needs help staying in a $730,000 home? I don't think its the average citizen...

this bill also adds more redtape for the average American small business and establishes a fingerprint registry! How does that help strapped homeowners????

He voted for Ron Paul and sounds like a great candidate. And when you figure the current Senator Lindsey Graham is McCain's shadow and has been a big backer of amnesty for illegal imigrants... it's a great opportunity to show the Ron Paul Revolution supports honest conservatives who will support and defend the Constitution regardless if their a Republican or a Democrat.

You have to agree the threat of terrorist is a joke. And based on that alone this makes no sense... this bill will allow increased intrusion into your and my privacy... and it won't be to find terrorist... it will be used to collect taxes, look for crimes (NY gov) or help big businesses keep us in our place.

Now Im not saying the terrorism from our government is going to change... in fact it is now be enhanced.

Another question to ask yourself... why would the telecom industry spend millions in lobbyists and TV commercials to pass something the majority of people are against?

Ron eats mostly plant based diet, limiting meat and dairy. And Dennis is a vegetarian. Another past congressman from Montana, Howard Lyman, went from being the 3d largest cattle rancher in the USA, to become a vegetarian and an advocate of environmental humane policies in farming.
This battle we are having has everything to do with the Trans Corridor Highway and how it affects that precious 6 inches of topsoil of which we are all dependent. It's like the highway is a giant pyramid, and all the pharoes are lining up to get a piece, slavery being supplied by run away immigration and the point of a gun.

You know, I agree with pitching incumbents after we look at their voting records..but this "fisa" bill has me buffaloed. I had a LONG debate with my congressmans office (we talked 3 times) and he won the debate. He read me parts of the bill. He swore everything was constitutional and that this bill was passed to STOP illegal wiretapping cold. The only other thing it did was to have the courts decide on immunity and not the House. He said it did NOT give telecoms immunity. Now I keep seeing all this stuff, but every time I mentioned any of it, he read those parts of the bill to me, and it didn't exactly say what everyone else says it does. I became very confused and still hardly know what to think. Opinion is one thing, but we need to know facts. I could find nothing in THIS particular bill that I could conclusively say, was wrong.
Anyone?

Some things should be sacred to all Americans no matter which party you are from. If any member in Congress votes in any way to threaten our rights, out he goes. If he violates his oath of office and votes in any way against the principles of the Constitution, out he goes.

If all Americans could see what blind party loyalty is doing to our country this project could work. That is why we need to approach the Democrats. Perhaps even a few Republicans could see past the Republican anthem and realize we need to do this.

Our elected officials need to start listening to the People. And they will not as long as they think they have life time employment. So this may be the only thing that will work.

That being said and at the risk of offending Bob Barr fans, we can not vote for him either because he voted for the Patriot Act. So even our Libertarian R3volution supporters need to put aside their blind libertarian loyalty and do what we need to do...... vote all incumbents out if they violate their oath of office. Easy as that!

is an opportunity to get people together. Vote fraud can only go so far... because if we start to work together on common interests pretty soon it will be obvious.

Isn't it obvious that the media tries real hard to develope two candidates and then makes sure to make sure that if one candidate gets out too far in front... they let some nasty info out to make sure it's close.

They want to keep us occupied and interested so we think were getting something we want. But this is an opportunity to ask for something they don't want to give us... using their system!

Replace a democrat with a democrat or a republican with a republican? I don’t believe this will restore good government to the people.

Every four years the American people focus their attention on choosing a presidential candidate from the Democratic party or the Republican party. The majority of citizens never consider another party to rule over us. For over 150 years, these two entrenched ideologies have degraded our economy with oppressive interventionism supported by a crushing national tax system. Low income people who continue to be enslaved with the ‘drug’ of perpetual state welfare. A federally mandated education system that has been unsuccessful in motivating and teaching our young the basic skills needed to prepare themselves for the future. A crumbling infrastructure of poorly maintained bridges and highways. A foreign policy that has failed miserably under the pretense of ‘democracy’ at the point of a gun, vis-à-vis Status of Force Agreements (SOFA).

It doesn’t matter who the candidate is, the two party crime syndicate bolstered by special interest group bureaucrats control government at the federal and state levels. The people grumble and complain to themselves or blog on the Internet, but as soon as government gives us a spoonful of “sugar” (i.e., tax rebate) our minds react as if we received a dose of Ritalin. The Media which traditionally was the people’s advocate, has been comprised through mergers and acquisitions and now serves its corporate masters.

We the people have all the power, yet we persist on electing representatives of the same two parties who continue to serve their own interests and not ours. When are we going to stand up and take control of our own country’s destiny?

Can anyone in their right mind deny we have been lied to by the leadership of this nation with the aide of a complicit media? I’m not just writing about the President and Vice President, but the entire Congress made up of Republicans and Democrats as well. This is not a government of the people, but a consortium of fascist elitists. Government carries on with ever increasing expansion in size and power at the financial expense of the people, who receive less and less. They create an atmosphere of fear about terrorism, but the nexus of terrorism is located in Washington, DC.

So what must we do for ourselves and our families to end this obvious tyranny of deception and manipulation? I’ll tell you what I will do. As a registered Independent for every election, I will vote for a candidate who is not a Democrat or Republican. I don’t care if the candidate is not well connected, doesn’t looks pretty or has two heads. It doesn’t matter to me. Anything is better than the two parties we currently have in power today.

Here are some other parties and their candidates:

Constitutional Party – Chuck Baldwin
Libertarian Party – Bob Barr
Independent Party – Ralph Nader, Alan Keyes
Green Party – Cynthia McKinney, Jesse Johnson, Kent Mesplay

Who are these candidates? WHO CARES!! They aren’t running as a democrat or republican and that’s what counts! Do some research on your own and find out which one is:

A – Not an insane fascist war profiteer (like Bush/Cheney).
B – Not a career politician who owes their soul to a Washington bureaucrat.
C – Doesn’t think government has the right to run your life and steal your freedoms.
D – What ever else is important to you.

How will the corporate fascist media respond? Let’s see.

1. “Oh, if we have a third party President, that will cause gridlock in Congress.”
No, what it will do is scare the panties off these career politicians when they realize the American people have the moxie to revolt against decades of corruption. These smug senators and representatives will be next to go to the unemployment line.

2. “These other party ideologies are too extreme for main stream America.” Too extreme, you say?

The Constitutional Party supports adherence to the U.S. Constitution; America’s living document bound to the people. What’s not to like about that?

The Libertarian Party favors smaller federal government involvement in your life. I guess if you’re a socialist and want a handout instead of a hand up, this party would not be your choice.

The Independent Party is just what it says, “independence” from the continuous democratic and republican party dogma of welfare and warfare.

The Green Party wants a healthier planet. Jeez, don’t we all?

3. “Voting for a third party will be a wasted vote.”
Wasted for whom, the deep-rooted two-party system that has repeatedly failed the country?

The bottom line is if you want to swallow the same political crap year after year, then go ahead, pull the lever for your “party” candidate.

But if you truly want to effect change, get some backbone; vote for anyone other than a Democrat or Republican candidate.

I've been doing that since 1992!

This is so true. I had to write my Senator and Rep two times last week and I told them that they had not obviously READ the Constitution they had sworn to us to support. Therefore, they no longer represented ME, and their voting would come back to haunt them. I hope we and God, take their oaths seriously, because then they will not have peace in this life, nor the next (if there is one, and God truly does punish people, of which I have my doubts, but o well). When they all get the Petitions of Redress of Grievance in just a few days, they will know we are serious. I sure hope Bob is going to give this to the media in a very dramatic fashion. I also hope that EVERYONE has checked to see if their state needs a server to make certain ALL of the incumbents get this, which ND and DC were not, as of yesterday, nor quite a few in CA. This is a way to make them not so damned comfortable, if nothing else.

I suggest we keep track of votes in congress and put up a Hot List of the Biggest BUMS to throw out... those that have voted for the Patriot Act, the new FISA bill, the Iraq War funding Bill, etc...

Wouldn't you like to know who the biggest BUM is just to make sure he/she doesn't make it back into office!!

a scathing letter to my senator last night after reading about that girl that got run over by an Israeli bulldozer. She was standing in front of the bulldozer to try and stop them from demolishing a Palestinian home. They ran over her and killed her.

Anyway, I basically went off on him... on a number of issues... and told him that I would do everything I could to make sure he... and my other representatives... were not in office next term.

I'm all for firing all of them... with very few exceptions. I can count them on one hand. RP, Kucinich, McKinney, Gravel, and maybe one or two more.

Ron and Dennis and each of them choose 2 to keep.
The rest of them should be outed period.
