There was almost an armed coup in the US.
A Marine General was lined up to lead it...
Over 500,000 men were identified as potential
members of a private corporate army...
and the right wing press provided the propaganda
to cover it.

Didn't hear much about that one in school either, like how the limo used for the execution was quickly scrubbed and stripped down for re-use by the new dictator, despite evidence like the bullet mark that was never forensicated on the limo's windshield trim that was omitted from the Warren Commission Report. Here I am in my thirties and just recently I learned about that.
The same could be said about the events of 9/11. There are probably still millions of people in the United States who don't have the foggiest idea that three (3) skyscrapers "collapsed" on 9/11. So it's really both the public indoctrination and "mainstream" media who are both have often demonstrated their guilt by omission.

the Secret Service guys being told not to ride on the back of the limo as was common procedure? In the video you can see one of the SS guys about to climb on the back and ride like he was supposed to, but he was ordered down right as they were turning the corner by the School Book Depository. This allowed them a clear shot at his head from the back.

I read about this incident many years ago and I cannot
recall any instance or period in contemporary times when it ever received any kind of attention in the media or even by establishment historians; certainly, it has never been really presented to young people in their "journey" within a class on American History.
