Ever since the demise of the Libertarian Party this year at the hands of the Neocons, it seems apparent that these "new" Libertarians are bent on destroying every other movement that is outside the mainstream now.

If you notice, virtually 100% of the disruptors on this website are Neocons who have infiltrated and destroyed the Libertarian Party, and now they've got their sights on us.

I don't understand why the climate in this country has become so much about image and political correctness that anyone that questions is attacked and ridiculed.
For me, it is about denying ignorance and seeking truth and knowledge, wherever it leads or how uncomfortable that truth becomes.
It is about having an open mind, understanding and listening to all sides of an issue, and then making up your own informed mind as to what to believe.
Some people just cannot handle having the freedom to think for themselves and question authority, so they need people like Gibson or Michael Reagan to tell them what to think.

I don't have any question about the patriotism of people like Alex Jones. He clearly loves the country and is worried about the direction we are headed.

Actually it's politically-correct in DailyPaul to be 9/11 Truther. I'm politically INCORRECT here. Most people here are not 9/11 Truthers, but they don't want to speak up because they know they'll get bombarded by the Truthers.
My motivation is to help advance the cause of liberty, by helping Bob Barr get into the debates. The 9/11 Truthers harmed Dr. Paul's campaign, because in the minds of the pubilc he was one of them or a sympathizer with them. That cost him a lot of support and votes. He could have done much better.
If we can keep the Truthers out of the Barr campaign, that will help Barr get up to the 15% polling he needs to get in the debates. If he doesn't get in, there will be no voice for liberty to face off against McCain and Obama.
I think the lack of support by Truthers in campaign would be outweighed by the number of supporters that will be attracted to the campaign due to their absence.
That's my motivation.

Well, I disagree with you that 9/11 truth hurt Paul's campaign. Objectively, I think that's a debatable point. Not trying to start a debate on that point. All I'm saying there is that 9/11 truth is a motivating force for a lot of people that gives them a drive to spread the word about a candidate that is at least marginally sympathetic to a new investigation and a candidate that has discussed other staged managed events. The early momentum the campaign enjoyed was likely largely a result of truthers within the campaign. Ron Paul has often discussed the possibility of a "Gulf of Tonkin" style staged attack that will drag us into war with Iran. So, Paul understands the tactic of using crises and perhaps even staging events, even if he does not agree that 9/11 was such an event. Also, I think the MSM was hell bent on marginalizing Ron Paul at every turn, so if it wasn't 9/11, they would have found some reason to paint him as a kook. 9/11 is an easy target, but it could have been his call to abolish the Fed, or the Department of Education, the newsletter, the Don Black donation, etc. It still would have been easy to hoodwink the public. The problem was not the truthers. It was the gullability of the American voter to claim to want change, but fall back into the left-right establishment paradigm that just represents the status quo. You blame truthers, I blame the media.
I recently became a little "l" libertarian, big "R" republican, because I realized that the only way to affect change is to infiltrate within the two party structure until that point when party labels do not matter as much. But, I still identify first and foremost as a libertarian. So, I'm 100% behind you on the idea that we need to get Barr up to 15%, so he can be included in the debates.

yes, he used quite provocative words, which lead to a lot of reaction. Let us try to unite, OK. We all have pieces of the puzzle and "elements" of truth and sincere reasons for our beliefs. We are all (most in any case) against the war, the Patriot Act etc. etc. and we are all for Ron Paul. Let us all unite and spend our energy in getting more people to join the campaign for liberty and see how we can help the Ron Paul candidates.
We will look at the combination of Barr and Baldwin's votes. I listened to a 2005 interview in FL of Baaldwin with Barr ont he Patriort Act: it was really good and they are friends. Barr knew about all the work Baldwin is doing and commended him sincerely.
If we look at realclearpolitics, Obama is gaining on McCain...it coudl happen in the next two months that if this trend continues, the GOP may well have to decide to drop McCain and field say a Paul-Romney or Paul-Sanford ticket, where Barr and Baldwin could also join in, and then we are united :-)

is indeed very good, but not a big dose of "conspiracy theories" that really go over the top. Balance is sooo important, with almost everything.
I mean there are also differences of options among the "911 inside job conspiracy theories", which some 911 proponents really consider as kooky and crazy.
One should not automatically buy the govt. version, nor the "inside job" version.
The truth lies "in between": there was ineptness, which the govt. obviously try to cover up. I think certain quarters knew something was going to happen, and waited for it to happen - they may not have known when - because they prepared for how they could profit financially from it, as well as politically: with "fear mongering" in order to stay in power, as we have seen in 2004 and now again with Charlie Black. They bring shame to the GOP. Bush had 7,8 years to slash the size of the govt. etc. amidst all the difficulties and if he really had done that, the economy would have been much better now and not attacked Iraq, we would have talked about how many years the GOP will still be in power: they would have sailed to victory in 2008

I rarely post, but read here quite often, and it's clear to me that justcan'tgetit is a troll, and for all we know a mole to boot. Justcan'tgetit, so your theory is that debris from the twin towers took out the lower floors of WTC7, causing it to fall? Why does NIST claim it fell mainly due to fires then? Also, was the damage evenly spread around the entire building and not mainly on one side? Is this what caused it to collapse straight into it's footprint rather than fall over to the side with the damage? Similar question with the twin towers...was the fire so evenly spread that all of the trusses simultaneously gave way causing the buildings to implode at nearly freefall speed?
