I'm an engineer, though I'm
I'm an engineer, though I'm just starting out after school. I like their site. I wish they could put more time and money into it so there was more information with a more clear presentation. Since I'm just starting out I'm not going to sign the petition. I don't want some 60 year old HR guy, who gets their news from ABCBSNBCNNFOX to Google my name next time I go for a job interview and find that, even though I know it to be correct. If I were established or retired I would sign in a second.
The best part of this site is that it offers a set of blueprints (given to them by leak whistle blower in the Silverstein investigation) and the video presentation. On the topic of leaks, part of the WTC7 report was leaked today. I haven't gotten a chance to really go over it yet but it should be fun.
That's probably pretty wise...
just starting out. Get a good job first.
I signed it. I don't work in the field any longer.
I don't know what to think about what happened that day, but I do know that the investigation is a white-wash... and that the government is hiding something.
I don't like the government.
I'm not an engineer by trade, but..
I was trained as an electrician and a nuclear reactor operator in the U.S. Navy on a ballistic missile submarine. (SSBN 633)
It was a $300,000 education. It only lasted 2 years, but as you can imagine, the Navy can cram a lot of education down your throat in 2 years. We went to class 8 intense hours a day, and we had 2-4 hours of homework every night.
It's more than the equivalent of a BA in nuclear technology. In fact, a little less than a year of extra schooling and I would qualify for a BS in nuclear technology. I haven't done anything with it since I got out of the Navy in the 1990's. I'm been in sales most of the time since.
I'm no structural engineer, but I do know a good bit about nuclear phyisics, applied nuclear theory, metallurgy, statics and dynamics, heat transfer and fluid flow, physics, calculus, electrical and electronic theory, destructive and non-destructive testing, sound and vibration monitoring, etc., etc.
Like I said, we learned a lot in those 2 years... plus the 3 years more I spent on the submarine applying what I learned... and learning much more, of course.

Yes
Sometimes I build towers out of Legos, and then I wrap my head in towel for a turban and kick them over. I do this to reassure myself that truthers are idiots.
Support our troops!
No, but I play one on TV...
