My experience with HHO Gas.

Week one. Other than the excess heat caused by not mixing my electrolyte correctly I will have to state that I am getting an increase of roughly 35% better gas mileage. That is because I have yet to acquire a modulator to fool my O2 sensor and the fuel pump is still supplying a rich mixture of gas. Once I have that I expect the mileage to go up even further. My 98 eclipse was getting around 300 miles to a tank spirited driving and it's a 12 gallon tank. I am getting close to that mark with a little over half a tank of fuel. 280 miles to 7 gallons. That is 40 mpg!!!
My eclipse is a 4 cylinder dual overhead cam.
A friend sent me this video the other day. It has much to do with why this viable technology isn't out yet.
Other than this video I do hear the Japanese aren't waiting around any longer and have started production or trying to start production. Looks like they are telling Big Oil and IMF who have been stifiling this technology for decades to go to hell.
Also some home design by a person who is claiming to produce 10 liters of hydrogen a minute. Great video.

These stories are great and all, but so far that's all the proof I've seen. You're talking about violating the laws of thermodynamics. While it's possible they could be wrong, they're called "laws" for a reason: THEY'VE NEVER BEEN BROKEN. So the case you're trying to make: that the laws of thermodynamics are wrong, and your only evidence is your own personal testimony, not validated by anyone else nor replicated, well, you got a tough case :).

I read this guy's challenge and have a few thoughts. First he specifies that a late model car must be used. The main problem with that is the "computers" in late model cars senses a lean mixture when HHO is added to the system and dumps more fuel into the combustion chamber negating the mileage increase. The HHO adherents overcome this by modifying the reading from the O2 sensor and/or the Map Sensor. I believe that modifications to the environmental features on a car are generally, if not totally illegal.
However, I have heard that someone in California has done enough testing and experiments to allow his HHO system to be legally retro fitted to Ca. cars if installed by a certified mechanic. The Ca. DEP is one of the toughest in the nation, so this could be good news for HHO people.
Also, he states that the challengers have to pay for all the costs of testing and has a 7 month period of testing, plus 7 tests by a university. G*d knows what that would cost. Finally the car engine is dismantled and checked for damages. This is another thing that could screw the HHO people. E.g. this engine has been damaged, now the engine life is 295K instead of 300K.
Plus the car must pass an emissions test. Any modifications to an emissions system would cause a car to fail an emissions test.
It looks to me like the guy is making his challenge in such a way that he would be very unlikely to get anyone to try under his set of rules.
It seems to me that a few days to a week at a test track and allowing the HHO people to modify the O2 and/or MAP sensor would be adequate.
Also, the emissions test requirement should be that the HHO car have at least as good of an emissions test as without the HHO. I have heard that some HHO equipped cars have failed emissions tests because their emissions are TOO low.

I got 550 out of one tank. It was a 612 mile trip. I've never had to stop and pee before I've ran out of gas on the open road. I usually hold it til I run out of gas then I use the bathroom. It was a new experiece for me...lol.

For the record, I also think his trip distance is more like 520 than 620.
But I want to be clear, I am not sure what he was including in the trip.
Also, I am very skeptical sometimes when it comes to the details and Oruval.

cars (EFIE and non) in August on a professional Dyno and computer
analyzer and updating the documents. This course on hydroxy reflects
the caliber of intellect here , some like a more comprehensive faculty
type we hope we have catered to every ones interests.
I hope this document helps David and Bob moderate better, and steers
the newbee's into the direction we all want them to take. We have
taken allot of the existing drawings out already and attempted to
make the more newbee/question answering friendly.
You will get every design (for its faculty merit) in this documents,
you will also get every thing currently being done on the EFIE. I must
strees this is a START, what we need is every one to contributes their
parts to COMPLETE IT. Bruno is out chemistry man, you can see some of
his best posts contributing here. Mike has done some proof reading, i
am sure James and others are going to see improvement s in ths
document. claudio is the duel EFIE expert. Bob is the plate cell man,
Wouter is tube professor. Smack daddy is his own genre. If we want the
best document we will have to work together and submit it, so please
take a role and send us any thing needed in your area of expertise.
I must stress again, this is a start, if we want it up to standard we
will have to all put in at our area of expertise.There is some new PWM
and EFIE circuits in there to spark plug non foulers.
Now there is law and emission stuff, as well as warning against the
boosters which will harm you. There is also allot on smacks recent
stuff. We have added to the exist material on cells and Smacks, re
drawn most if not all.
Guys we need proof reading and input in this, if you find some thing
needing an addition or updating/fixing, please e-mail me off list lets
not clug up the board.Now, There is NO excuse for ANY newbee to ask
any question that isn't addressed in here (they ALL are). Stuff that
needs special examination is done in there, its the best of all posts

Here was the post
I have built a 18 plate unit as per the new design in Smacks file, and
can say it is worth changing too,fit another plate on the outside
making it 3,it will fit inside your original housing according to a
post by Smack.
My new booster is built from flat plate 4.5" square with a bolt
through each corner, this keeps the spacing accurate, the connections
are via tabs welded to the plates, 2 plates pos,and 2 negs,
this takes care of hot terminals, plate spacing is 1.5 mm the cell is
at the moment running at 10 amps,13.8 volts via a lab. power supply,
I have not bothered to wrap the cell with tape or shrink wrap and I
quite impressed with the way the new design runs, it is getting hotter
but the amps are not running away, it is quite encouraging to see the
amp draw as stable as it is. To my way of thinking this is quite a
design breakthrough. Alf.

It took me 45 seconds to find the miraculous technology admission. I was just scanning up from the bottom 15 pages and saw that note and the phrase native intelligence jumped out at me. I have no doubt that I could pour through that document and find many flaws, misapplications, and more mumbo-jumbo. But, it isn't worth it. Some one in our form posted a link to ebay, there was a guy selling a unit for 25,000.00 and have a video link to u tube. So I watched the vid and it was built with copper tubes. Well they hooked it up and it did show making bubbles fast.
I wonder how long they will last, SS may be for the long term.

Copper is a better electrical conductor
than stainless steel is.
It should be faster.
However, copper does not have the corrosion-resistance of stainless steel, so it wouldn't hold up as long. It may in fact corrode fairly quickly, when caustic agents such as lye are used as electrolytes.

Priced some parts at Home Depot yesterday.
I think I want to build a "smack" type booster,on steroids.
Instead of the 4" PVC,I am thinking of getting the GE gnarly water filter,that has the agility to fill without taking the cap off. It also has capacity for more and larger plates, and more H2o.
Instead of the SS wall cover plates,I was thinking of making larger plates out of some stainless material.
Any good ideas of where I can get Stainless Steel sheets so that I can make these larger plates?
Instead of 16 plates,I was thinking like 24 larger plates. I am just not sure how to wire this correctly,so that current is not lost.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have been wanting to try this in my truck for a while.. I have been skeptical, but after your post and some others who have told me they have gotten good results, I have decided to try it! I am going to purchase a professionally built kit tho. it comes with a money back gaurantee. My jetta TDI gets over 50 mpgs on the highway..if I would only get a 10% increase it would be worth it.. I will have this done within the next 3 weeks and I will let everyone know the outcome! wether it works or not.. I will also put 1 on my dodge 1 ton cummins turbo deisel.. should be interesting to settle this discussion one way or the other.

Google removed all seller of kits! They had to many complaints, the kits are a scam! They ARE dangerous if they don't have flash back arrestors in them and most don't! Brown's Gas burns fast and it can and will burn back to the gen. and blow up! You can't see the flame!

before you go and add a component ...... You can increase your mileage with out it. the 1.9 tdi is a fantastic motor to tweak. I will come back and post some links for ya later, but in the mean time google for tdi clubs and forums.
There are a few minor tweaks that can get you up to about 70 mpg. then there are some more involved to get you to 80 mpg..... and yes ... *shhh* ... there are some over 100 mpg....
I'd imagine if you got 70 and added a lil H you could see large gains.
this also depends on which tdi you have .... the old injection pump ALH motor or the newer direct inject Pumpe Dusse.
