Tonight was exciting & it's only just begun! I was voted in tonight to be a part of the local Republican Executive Commitie. It wont be official till August.
Someone brought up an article they had read in the newspaper. Woohooo my little podunk, overwhelmingly democratic, how shall I say, um entitlement metropolis of 25,000 people ran a long and informative article on our right to redress the government!
My little group had tons of comments & questions and I simply smiled & kept quiet. Why was I smiling? hehehe They just voted me in... one of those 1,200 people who will be serving that redress come Monday.
Seems I'll be serving to a republican that is very well liked & who will be speaking at this festival we (Repub party) are sponsoring Saturday & I'll be working at the booth. LOL I'm just cracking up at how incredible this all is. Oh well, nothing personal. Even the good Doctor is getting served.
I'm going to contact the paper tomorrow & let them know I will be serving the redress in our capital. Maybe we'll get some more press out of it and hahaha my local group already voted me in, if they kick me out now, I will have made a valliant attempt.
The rest of the meeting was pretty uneventful, they are going to be SELLING McInsane bumper stickers at a local festival this weekend. Gag.... I cant imagine anyone wanting to put one on their car much less PAY for the stinking thing. (They had to pay for them out of their own pocket & no signs in sight :::grumbles all around:::... so different than the RP revolution huh we painted his name on everything & were glad to buy signs).
One guy that is obnoxious w/his democrat jokes said we need to start emailing people to inform them how wonderful, uh huh wonderful that McSame is. He blaah blaaahed about how one email had so inspired him to sing praises for McLame because & get this... because he read an article about how great Cindy is. Yeah, don't fall off your stool thinking about that one too long. The best thing he could come up with about that guy is his wife!
That was joined by a chorus of how she'd be a classy First Lady but of course no one will ever compare to Laura. I tell ya, if it were not so important for some of us to be working from inside that camp I'd be looooong gone!
Oh yeah.... the lady that will be doing a speech FOR McNuts doesn't even like him & couldn't find anyone else willing to do it but like most of them the mentality is GO Republicans at any cost!
But come Monday....... we begin to hold the Government accountable.

No, take..there are 7 petitions to redress our grievances, and since Bob has been trying for about 5 years to get them heard, we are all pitching in, now, and, on the same day, getting them hand delivered to almost every congressman and senator in the US. I sure hope mine comes tomorrow, as I may not have time to deliver it Monday if it does not come til then, but, hey, I will bring it Tuesday..

Haha! I have to laugh about him only being able to talk about
how great Cindy McCain is! When we had our county convention, we had someone get up to speak for McCain and he was supposed to be such a great muckity-muck in the local GOP, and all he could talk about was how great Cindy McCain was!!!! Then we had one of our people stand up to talk about Ron Paul and he absolutely BLEW THE GUY AWAY!!!! Ron Paul won our county in a landslide!!!!!

but more than likely all it will get, is a nose in the air (as do most other petitions), G.W.'s "one finger salute", another ruling by the Supreme Court that the government has no obligation to respond to the people, and suffer the same yawn and "yea we'll take a look at that" reply, that all the other petitions received. I'm not overly excited about it, although I wish I could be. After all, do you think for one second the Gov't doesn't already know that not one of the people that signed that petition, will actually risk prison and leave themselves unable to support their family, and with hold their tax support? And we all know there won't be a peep about it on the MSM.

Big, don't wax cynical now that so many victories are piling up. I have no family and I am standing up FOR you, so never fear. If they want me in their jails, they will have someone who is GLAD they are taking care of me, and while enforced to quit smoking I will be a BEAR. I will be delivering such petition and it has nothing to do with withholding taxes, to me. (That is at losthorizons.com and Cracking the Code). I am proud to stand up for the Constitution and be on the "front lines" of getting our Constitution the respect it deserves. We WILL win this fight! Constitutional issue candidates are winning elections. The Supreme Court is forced to vote in its favor. The MSM is interviewing all sorts of people by accident, that are FOR it. America is waking up, a few at a time. More are joining CFL, more are watching their congrssmen and c-span. More are writing letters..you will see what you look for..so look for the WINS! They are there, too!

I didn't get you wrong, Big, but you are getting disappointed before the facts! Newspapers are already publishing things about this--they may follow up. Sheeple may wish to know what happened with this..Do not doubt! Doubting is what "they" want from us. Each new initiative should be set out totally positive and with fervent belief that a difference will be made. After all the disappointments in the voting for RP, I can now see how much good all our work has done and is still doing. We are hammering congress with e-mails and now this! We will not let up! We will win in the end, so do not doubt us now..
