The only concern I have about Ron Paul

Dr Paul repeatedly talks about how George Bush promised a "humbler" foreign policy, he must of voted for Bush, atleast in 2000. I think Ron Paul trusts people when they verbalize a platform or intentions. Tha'ts why I'm concerned about the whole Bob Barr thing. He voted for the patriot act and the war in Iraq and now he said he made a mistake.

I'm not making any accusations,I just want other people's opinion on this, because the way I see it Dr Paul's weakness is his wishful trust in people and what they say. Any input?

Are you talking about Ron

Are you talking about Ron Paul judgment in who he trusts? That Barr being someone he trusts? Or is it that like Barr voting for the Patriot act is like Paul voting for Bush?

I guess I'm not totally sure what you're getting at.

Myself, as soon as I had heard Bush was running. The first thing that came out of my mouth was, "He's just here to finish what his old man started." And people were like, "No, he's nothing like his dad." pfff

I had no idea

who Bush Sr. actually, truely is until I started supporting Ron Paul for President. My mother some how knew. I didn't believe her because I am a worldly professional brat. My son knew, I didn't believe him because I am his politically superiorly experienced mother. Now I don't trust anything I think I know. I am revisiting old opinions and applying new judgements to them.

I do'nt think he is

endorsing Bob Barr. Unless I missed something he is'nt endorsing anyone at this point. I voted for Bush the first time. Not the second. What they say and what they do is a crap shoot. I think the point Ron is trying to make is the policy Bush ran on was good, but he did the opposite of what he said he would. he fooled alot of people the first timeand cheated the second time. Really when was the last time we had a decent choice? I ca'nt vote for Mccain or Obama. I will write in Ron Paul, vote none of the above, or after alot more investigation maybe a third party. Most likely the first choice even if it is not likely to make a difference. I think he knows what he's doing. Right now he is teaching.

I agree somewhat

I can see Ron Paul is giving us subtle direction, but I personally believe he's leaning more towards Chuck Baldwin. I just feel we are getting scattered. Should or will the Campaign for Liberty endorse someone or encourage us to write in Ron Paul?

Or is it too early to call?

We gotta get him on a ticket

one way or another. End of story. Momentum is Paul's. We have to, have to keep him in this race through November.

I think Dr. Paul brings up the "humble" thing to

throw it back in the neo-cons faces, not because he trusted, or was "duped" by, Bush.

I agree with this assessment.

He's trying to point out that it was just 8 years ago that these ideas were part of a platform that helped win an individual the presidency. Now, "non-interventionism" can't get the time of day, from either of the two main parties.

Well, I can't throw

stones I'm in the same boat but I am wiser. If I vote it will be for Chuck Baldwin I think if Dr. Paul doesn't run. Peace
