Today, every US congressman/woman & senator will be presented with our national Redress of Grievance petition.

All local & national print & television media have been notified of this.
It's the most important event of our lifetime, as it's the core of our 1st Ammendment rights which have been so sorely eroded.
Who will cover this?

Now that our Congressional Reps. and Senators have been served with the National Redress of Grievance petition I'm sure Bob Shultz would appreciate it if a phone call was made to these elected officials politely telling them we know they have received the petition and when they plan on responding. If you go to the www.givemeliberty.org website there are a number of redress petitions to be signed as they have a signature drive underway right now. If everyone who has signed the petitions called as well as all those who have joined the Campaign for Liberty it would really rattle some nerves on Capital Hill.
What's going to happen?
What's going to happen when they are served and "blow off" the American people? Maybe a "Night of the Generals," that's what.

What happens in 40 days if they do not respond? I am of the impression we will be able stomp our feet, get mad, and say "darn." I'm tired of measly carrots being dangled in front of my face all the time. Where's the meat?

Who in Texas? Both senators? John Culberson?
what results does this accomplish...
I mean if they ignore it, are they sued? impeached? what come next? What if they admit to doing unconstitutional things....??
I emailed
the woman that volunteered to serve the local congressman. She replied that Wally Herger (R-California) was served at 4:30 pm on June 30.

Congressman Skelton,
Again you have disappointed the people of the MO 4th congressional district by supporting and voting for FISA. The constitution clearly states that any law that comes into effect that is in violation of the constitution is considered null and void. FISA clearly violates the bill of rights. What is your constitutional authority to support the FISA bill and amendments?
You, sir have abandoned the people you claim to represent, you have chose to ignore your oath of office. We the people are prepared to accept your resignation as a member of congress.

Oregon 5th district (Hooley) served
She wasn't in her office, but a handful of us from Salem and parts nearby gathered together and served the documents to a staffer, who was very polite and voluntarily signed *two* copies of the... uh, whatever that sheet was that I subsequently had notarized. (Sorry; I'm unwell today and the paperwork is in my car.)
