TWO TYPES OF LOOTERS

I think there are two types of looters: one that uses political tricks, socialists, and the other that uses financial tricks, unethical capitalists. Neither of them produces anything. They are both looters. They take from those who produce. They are both enemies of the free market capitalism, in my opinion.

INTEGRITY is an uncommon thing in todays world. During hard times, you will see it reappear. During depressed times, all that a person may own is his or her name. If you lie, cheat or steal your name is mud and people will shun or make sure everyone knows what your game is. Every effort is made to do the right thing in dealing with people. A handshake is a contract and you better think things through before committing to it. Friendships and connections are based on trust. Your survival may depend on people you can trust or depend on. When it gets bad it won't matter what you label yourself because I will judge you by your actions. That is how I would hope you would judge me only then can trust be built and hopefully friendship. Those who use force may get but they will also receive, people have a way with getting even. Blowback is real and like the old saying "you reap what you sow." Peace

Your post tells it like it is. Short and to the point. Thank you. That is the way I was raised. Your word is your bond and if your word is no good signing it a hundred times on a piece of paper isn't going to make it good, as the Amish say. There will always be room in my world for people who believe as you do.

IT'S OVERRATED, in my opinion. It seems to me that it only
attacks only one type of looters, socialists. But, it doesn't seem to say anything about the other type of looters, unethical money gamers who take from others by money tricks. They pretend as if they were free market capitalists, but they are not, in my opinion.

I generally think of people in two types
Builders and looters. The builder is the person that has always improved the lot of mankind. He is the one that has devised the engineering techniques, formulated the math, designed the infrastructure and in all ways contributes to the material improvement of man. It is only right that such should be rewarded for his efforts, and in a free market system he is.
The looter is out only for personal gain at any cost without regard to morals or ethics. He can continue to prosper only so long as there are fortunes and wealth of others that he can loot. He is the formulator of something for nothing socialistic and communistic systems. These are basically looter systems that suppress creativity and initiative by robbing the creative and honest of their hard earned wealth. These systems fall apart once they have expended the number of victims that are available. We have had a looter system that has been in control of the world since the Brettonwoods agreement and the founding of the IMF. It is running out of victims and will soon fall apart.
Maybe three types
the two you describe and a large group that has no strong inclination either way but will emulate the type that appears to be the most successful/affluent. Despite their successes over the last 100 years, the looters are about to go down.

In short, there are no innocent bystanders. You are either part of the solution or part of the problem. The worst part of the problem are those waiting for a winner to emerge so they can get in on the winning side. They are the same as those who would not vote for Dr. Paul cause "he can't win".

I think it comes down to what is moral? If your smarter than you neighbor does that make it right to take advantage of him? What if it is a retarded kid, does that make it different? I look at it this way, if it is done with malice then it is immoral and bad. If I sucker someone into a pyramid scheme because I know more then him is no different then taken advantage of a child. Capitalism does not imply without morals, so like any other act of malice it should be treated as such. I don't think the tool used matters as much.
