If you have a loan

at a bank that goes bankrupt, do you still owe the loan to someone?

loans

Loans are assets of a bank. You would owe the balance to whatever company bought the asset.

I remember back in the 1970's...

I was just a teenager and went to the bank to get some money out and the teller asked why I wanted it! I said "to pay rent" , and she said, "the bank will write a note to your landlord, we are not giving out any money right now". Talk about a blow to my sense of reality. That was when I started to understand true reality. The elitists in charge care about no one, not even each other, and especially not anyone who the elitists don't consider one of the elite.

I Love that term

Banking Holiday! Sounds so jolly! It's like in Mary Poppins when Mr. Banks goes out flying kites with the kids. It's a jolly holiday! Everyone just go fly a kite and have a picnic while your life savings evaporate. And when you come back all refreshed, the nice man from the Revenue Service will help you manage the contents of your safe deposit box. Jolly good fun!

Actually, the kids in that movie caused a bank run! Hahahahahaha!

I just posted this on the "Complete Collapse" Thread

I think it applies here too....

It is going to get ugly!!!!

BRUSSEL/AMSTERDAM

Created Two Videos For Mr. Ritchie

My company actually created two videos for Ritchie Capital a few years back. Thane was a very nice man and their office building was incredible (ice cream bar, chefs, the works). They are a hedge fund shop and the day that I was there to film Mr. Ritchie, they were losing several hundred million dollars. I was certain he was going to come in for his filming and start throwing chairs. But he was fine and took it in stride.

His business (hedge funds) is quite a risky playing field, so it doesn't surprise me that this is happening, given the economy. People were hired and fired on a daily, if not hourly, basis while we were involved.

Hmmmm,

it's getting a bit tense out there. Peace
