Medical Bills in Excess of $400K. Help Kent Rest in Peace

Hello friends,
As many of you have heard, Kent Snyder, Chairman of the Ron Paul 2008 Presidential Campaign, passed away on June 26, 2008. Kent was the man who convinced Ron Paul to run for President, and he drove the campaign from start to finish.
From an intensive care unit at a Virginia hospital, Kent fought bravely for his life as he suffered from pneumonia for more than two months so that he might ultimately resume his career-long fight for liberty. In so doing, he amassed medical bills in excess of $400,000. The presidential campaign for which Kent worked so tirelessly provided no medical benefits to any of its employees, thus putting the entire burden of these expenses squarely on Kent and his family.
I have donated $150 to Kent's medical fund on behalf of the New Hampshire campaign staff, and all of our friends and loyal, hardworking volunteers. Please be generous and donate to the family of the man who was the catalyst for what will prove to be the rebirth of the Freedom Movement in America for another generation.
RIP Kent Snyder
Thank you,

I feel really bad for his family, but why didn't he have a catastrophic plan or something? You can get them for like $150-$200 a month. I used to pay nearly a grand a month for insurance for my family and I recently got a cheap plan with a $5k deductible and saved nearly $600 a month which instead I put in to my savings account. A year later, I have $7200 in there and can easily cover my deductible if something happens and I am collecting wealth.
Donate what you can. Without him, none of this would have happened. We are making in-roads and people are listening still to what's going on more than ever.
Good question.
I've got one myself. Couldn't Ron give the family 400K from his fund raising coffers?
Or would the gov't agents assault him if he did?
do you really believe
do you really believe that the medical community is different from all others who lie to you. I am sickened to see that many of us revolutionaries believe that medical areas are different from those big buiness entities that enslave us. you people who read this are awakining to the truth of it all . so ? every thing . 9/11 the medical industry all that tell you what to do . P.S. let me let you in on simple over site Big profitable pharma companies dont make money on cures so screw the medical bills .
send some money for a funeral but
screw 400,000 in hospital bills. sorry for sounding rude but that is too much money. his insurance co. should of picked some of this up.

Please people...step up to the plate a little bit and kick in!!!
how come a young man died of
how come a young man died of pneumonia? does he also had leukemia or some other chronic, immunosupressive disease?
maybe the hospital should pay the family for malpractice.
this is really sad.
God bless this family
I hope my small donation helps.
Mr. Snyder's donation Helped ALL of us
No contribution is too small
Bills
With all due respect to the Snyder family I can not contribute. While I would if I had expendable income to help a family in need I would do so. As I do so locally. Unfortunately I am still paying on my own father’s death and continue to work to pay my bills and other expenses.
I sincerely do not see a man that was dedicated to liberty wanting people to put forth funds aiding his own hospital costs when it could be better spent in the aid of liberty. If the family is ill equipped or unable to pay these costs then they should look to family or our existing government system for assistance. I was forced to do this, as I was unable to take care of these costs myself.
Instead, the people wanting to increase the awareness of the existing problems of this nation could put forth their donations to a cause or effort that continues to aid in the advancement of liberty.
I completely support those that wish to aid this family in their time of grief. Everyone that was/is unable to pay the exorbitant costs of end of life care wish they had the support of others to curb the costs.
However, continuing to support the cause of liberty that mostly everyone on this site wishes to see come to total fruition, seems to be a better justification of their donation.
I sincerely offer my condolences and prayers to the Snyder family, as he was a protector of our Republic and a fighter of liberty.
God Bless.
give from the heart
I feel so sorry for his family. Please pray for them and may God comfort them.
