The Daily Flip: 'I never said I don’t know much about economics' - McCain

Huh. Really? That's not what it says here:

Take, for example, John McCain’s admission that economics isn’t his thing. “The issue of economics is not something I’ve understood as well as I should,” he says. “I’ve got Greenspan’s book.”

His self-deprecating humor is attractive, as always. But shouldn’t we worry about a candidate who’s so out of touch that he regards Mr. Bubble, the man who refused to regulate subprime lending and assured us that there was at most some “froth” in the housing market, as a source of sage advice?

No support

I live in a relatively wealthy city with many hardened conservitive, family-valued minded people in surrounding areas. To date, I have seen a handful of mcBain signs (none in a yard), 1 bumper sticker and no meetup groups, billboards, rallys, whatever. This man inspires NO ONE! He should be tried as a traitor to this country. If you can't lie in a court of law, you shouldn't lie on the court of TV.

Psychopaths and Politics

I honestly had not seen this post until after I posted my "Psychopaths and Politics" post today.

But what a perfect example of the unblushing deceitfulness and lack of remorse (i.e. guilt) which are the hallmarks of the psychopath!

Uhh

Why are we concerned about his grasp on economics? I thought our collective opinion was that the government cannot and should not try to manage the economy. Isn't Peter Schiff his economic advisor at the moment anyhow? I'm pretty sure he is in good hands. I'm not a fan of a lot of McCain's policy but I don't think he is going to attempt to stick his hand in the machinery of the working free market. Everything I have heard out of his mouth recently has been exactly the opposite. Lay off the guy. Obama is the biggest threat to our Republic and he has the momentum to take this election away. Let's focus our efforts on combatting socialism.

does jdk stand for- just don't know-

"There is but one special interest that we should be working for, and that would solve just about all of our problems, and that is our liberty."Ron Paul

Phil Gramm...Sec'y of the Treasury under McCain?

Phil Gramm has been an advisor in McCain's campaign. Now read this about Phil Gramm and his policies:
http://www.motherjones.co...

(Anyone remember Keeting 5...how was that for competence?) Sure, everything will be just fine economically with McCain in charge..NOT.
Then add McCain's stance and alliance with the county to the south of us.
Reality, we as a country, cannot afford a McCain presidency.

IT'S DOABLE

McCain is as bad

McCain is as bad or worse than Obama. Neither of these clowns are going to do anything but put us in a deeper hole in every way shape and form.

"The wicked flee when no man pursueth, but the righteous are as bold as a lion."

Is this a joke?

Because I'm waiting for the punchline.

It's two sides of the same coin there chief. And Peter Schiff was the economic advisor for the Ron Paul Campaign, not McCCCP.

The two CFR-stooges (O-bomb-a & McAIPAC) and their Bilateral War Party are the biggest threats to the Republic.

Sorry, Donald Luskin was who I was referring to.

I don't like McCain either but if I had to choose between the two I sure as hell wouldn't choose Obama. This guy is talking about immediately increasing some tax brackets, market oversight, extensive subsidies, etc. etc. He is a danger to everything we stand for. I pray everyday that whoever sits in the oval office this November sits on their hands! The more these people seem to do the worse the end result.

Now before you jump on me for being a McCain fan boy know that I am likely to either abstain from this election or vote for a 3rd party.

Two sides of the same coin

....if I had to choose between the two I sure as hell wouldn't choose Obama.

I've got good news for you. You don't have to choose between two CFR frontmen. Who cares about the false "choice" offered by the War Party and the "mainstream" media?

But I don't agree with your argument at any rate. To paraphrase Ron Paul, it's either the tax and spend Democrats or the print and spend Republicans. Both of these CFR sycophants will continue their War Party's empire-building leading our country to national bankruptcy and inflationary depression.

What choice? They're effectively the same no matter how you want to spin it.

I don't need to hear him say it...

It's painfully obvious that he is clueless about the economy. In one of the debates he said if he had it his way that the FED would drop interest rates to zero and leave them there. Cap and Trade anyone? Even the unintended consequences caused by the McCain Feingold act show that he does not know or does not care that the economy and the market are severely affected by self-righteous, ignorant, unconstitutional legislation. McCain bristles and attempts to take the moral high ground when defending his poor legislative record. He would've fit in well with Stalin

YouTube video showing the doubletalk

Already someone has done a YouTube video showing him contradicting himself.

http://youtube.com/watch?...

He still has no clue about YouTube!

There will be 2 clips merged together, this one and the one where he said it! Wake up, you can't lie anymore!

Lame McCain...LOL! He answers in an almost slurred speech...

This guy definitely has "dementia" kicking in...

And they called...

Romney the flip-flopper! McBain has been hand-selected to fail miserably this election (if we have one at all) to galvanize the GOP in 2112 against Obama's socialist agenda.

At one of the presidential debates....

Remember when Ron Paul and each of the candidates were given an opportunity to ask another candidate a question? Ron Paul asked McCain about his reaction to the President Plunge Proteciton Team (he might have used the official name, but in essence), and the reply was along the lines "I don't know much about that (economics) , I have people who will handle those issues." McCain, just the mental giant, fiscally responsible, economics wise leader we need for the immediate future frought with economic decline. What a joke.

McBain was compared to Miss Teen SC after that embarrasing response. It clearly shows he is a one-trick pony, barely able to read a teleprompter, interested only in furthering this global war for his masters.
