Creation/Evolution Debate

There was a post on this topic somewhere here. It was stated that Christianity or "creationism" came from the Egyptian sun-god religion. I took a look at what he said and here is some interesting things I found. Before I begin I want to relate this to Ron Paul. Ron Paul is an extraordinary Christian. He must have something keeping him from taking buyouts. Now, all those who think that you can resist without being "Christian" - fine. But Ron Paul IS Christian. So what is it about his Christianity that is sooo different from Obama or McCain... or many other warmongers. This is the type of Christianity that needs to be understood.

Egypt was great! green! prosperous! It's failing was that it's faith was "nature". It saw things and answered things in terms of the natural world like evolution.
We, mankind, don't want to admit that there is any other way to answer a problem. Nature has to have the answer or be the answer. We want to be able to have the solutions for all problems. Christianity puts the solution and "reason" outside of man's powers. Thus, human action can be predicted. Mises knew this. Ron Paul knows this. Man needs oversight, an oversight that is created outside of man that is so Just that man also changes. It is a justice which cannot be corrupted and also one which secures liberty for all. This is the faith of Ron Paul. This is the faith The US Constitution is based on. Without it, the faith, the constitution will be just another piece of paper to corrupt.

It is interesting that Egypt was founded by Mizraim (the name of the Egyptian airlines). He was the second son of Ham son of Noah (said to be the father of China known as Fohi or Yoa)

It's interesting that Creationists never consider the fact that they may be offending Atheists, Jews, Homosexuals, non-Christians who don't want to hear about your God's judgement and how they will burn in hell, Christians that do not believe as you, scientists who dedicate their lives to finding out about life,the world and the universe, etc. I don't see you respecting any one else's opinions or beliefs. This lack of respect ends up with others disrespecting you. You get what you give. Making statements about Atheists being immoral,how they will face judgement or burn in hell, that homosexuals are perverted deviants, that atheist beliefs lead to mass murder,and on and on. Do you think that people will not respond back and attack you the way you attack others? Do those statements amount to "harassment" freethepawn? Are Atheists and others "victims" too?(What kind of libertarian conservative are you, freethepawn, to believe in unconstitutional laws like "hate" crimes,anyway?)

For an atheist, it is hard to dance along the line of not offending when dealing with devout Christians. Our beliefs are in direct contradiction to yours, and there is no easy way to do it. Trust me, I've been in many situations, where I avoided discussing my beliefs because I did not want to start an argument, or have the occasion become awkward. If you really want our opinion about religion, we will give it to you, but you better expect to be offended because our belief system "attacks" your belief system and the way you see the world. Christians do not have these worries or problems because they make up the majority.

I know that Christians do feel like victims in a increasingly secular world, and also in an America that is becoming more religiously diverse and tolerant to other cultures. The major majority of people here on DP do not hold status quo opinions on most issues. People here could argue back and forth about a range of topics non stop ( and they have), but we should try to focus more on what brings us here, our common ground. If you really care about restoring the Constitution and individual liberty, you should try to get along with people here or at least be civil. I know it is extremely hard, since we are all very opinionated and individualistic, but is has to be done for this movement to be a success. If we do not put our egos aside, we will be a twin of the libertarian party, and never reach the masses with our message. We are all on the same side, and all this ego driven arguments over minor issues will only divide us and fragment people into different groups, as is happening somewhat now. It's sad that people can't follow RP's lead.

Here is an exchange between a Christian and an Atheist, that I think is a perfect example of the relationship both groups should have with one another. Just in case you don't want peace, and want to continue the debate without insults, I have a few questions. LOL. It'll probably get ugly again after a couple more pages of the thread.

I don't know if you did what you are being accused of or not. If something ever does come of this, I would strongly encourage you to contact a religious defense team. Most of them work for free. You have been a victim of religious harassment. This is goes beyond free speech. It is funded and run by a national organization that connects to religious attorneys all over the country. They live for this kind of stuff. I will e-mail you the name if you would like. They are involved in a huge criminal and civil suit near my home right now. If you think the planet Nibiru is headed this way then your reasoning and logic is breaking down. Be aware that the vatican has launched a satilite that has a big orange lense on it. The truth is we have no idea what is out there. We are discovering completely new things every day, right here on our own little planet, from the tops of highest mountains, all the way to the depths of our deepest oceans, much has yet to be discovered.

Even the known universe is incomprehensible in scope and size.

The odds that we are the only form of life in this universe is near impossibility. The very real possibility is there are near infinite forms of life and that among them there are likely innumerable ones that are superior to us.

Whether we evolved separate from other forms of life in the universe or whether we were placed here by superior beings is a good question. We know that evolution is natural and does exist, as the evidence is all around us, but whether or not humans were placed upon the Earth by superior beings or we evolved here separately is hard to determine.

There is evidence that we evolved, but that evidence alone does not rule out the possibility that the species of modern human was not placed here.

Either way, I'm sure we will know relatively soon what the case was here on Earth.

Gods judgment is just. Man thinks he can judge but really he only ends up bringing greif. The bible only starts a relationship with God it the Holy Spirit that reveals it's depth to you. Reasoning and logic may fool a person who believes saved by grace and then thinks its all over i'm all good. These people have no means to search out the deep things in scripture they rely on the understanding of language to find their meaning. A true Christian can never be fooled by a mans reason or logic. They are so beyound all that. They find wisdom in scripture by reading it line upon line and presept upon precept it is not based on grammar. The grammar bible teachers of today who speak about pronouns and the understanding of the scriptures in a prose why of interpitation do not have a clue about God. The bible is written in line form to read the bible in a grammatical pespective is to miss everything that is important in the word of God. It is written this way for a reason. Anyone who just reads the book through without seeking Gods wisdom just comes away with a story that is hard to understand. To read the bible through this kind of logic and reason would make a person think to be saved we must eat Jesus flesh and drink his blood. This is the thinking of mad people. The funniest thing is the Jews changed the order of scripture to win power and control over the people, The Catholic Chruch changed the meaning of words to gain control, and now the reformers are using gramar to gain control. In the end the three together are going to work to proving each other wrong and fullfill the scripture in line and
poetry showing how foolish they have been all along. God is one, he shares glory with no other, he knows not any. There is only one person of God his name is Jesus. Through him God has moved and had his being. God originated the son of God and the son of God originated the son of Man. God originated as spirit and he was revealed in flesh. No one can truely love the son without knowing the father and no one can truely know the father without God revealing it to him. These three are "one". We did not kill the flesh of the son. The flesh was the son! The Father (the power of God) of the son did not die. Jesus only died because he gave up the Father and in three days the Father returned to the son and took his son back up again. I tell you its not to reasonable or logical to try to kill Gods spirit and flesh but if you think you can have fun cause it will be a work that never gets completed. The bad things you see God doing in the old testament is what people get for killing the prophets because they didn't like what they had to say. Their words were Gods words not their own. Gods judgment is just for those who wish to cut off the word of God from being heard. You want hell on earth keep trying to stop his message from being preached in this world. You won't have to ask where is God I've never seen him. You can start counting the bodies cause his wrath is as real as death. Also it doesn't matter who he kills your dead already only some people know this and some people use their logic and reason to think there is some way out. Nope all men will die he can take them anytime he wants. Be careful asking for a sign and demanding God show himself to you he might just answer your prayer before you believe. In the bible it says that Jesus will set on the right hand of God. Why not the on the left hand? Well then who is on the left hand? If God is a trinity why does God not have three hands? Who gets left out and doesn’t get a share in the hands? Actually the flesh is only an image of our likeness. Underneath the flesh we are bone and blood. Just as or flesh is made in the image of God and our bone is in likeness of God. And the blood comforts them both. Our flesh is one complete unit. The flesh is not made up of parts it is one. Our likeness (bones) is divided into to parts each part is an attribute of the whole form (skeleton). So when you look in the mirror you are actually looking at the image of God it’s called one. When you study the bones of the human body in school you are actually studying the likeness (attributes) of Gods. The human skeleton is divided into two parts one is the axial skeleton and the other is the appendicular skeleton. A typical adult human skeleton consists of 206, 208 or more bones depending on the counting method. The count of 208 considers the sternum to be made up of three bones instead of one; manubrium, body of sternum (gladiolus) and xiphoid process. Anatomical variation may also result in the formation of more or less bones. More common variations include cervical ribs or an additional lumbar vertebra. Babies are born with around 300 to 350 bones, many of which fuse together. There are 300 prophecies in the Old Testament that Jesus fulfilled all of them (this is the answer why I only choose belief systems that see only Jesus as our savior). What you see on earth as evolution is not of man it is of God. God never changes and his will always stays the same but the choices man makes can have an effect on everything that is at work on this earth. In the end God will make one choice who stands on the right and who stands on the left. This choice will be made off what we have done on this earth not by what he has done. He has already laid out what is suppose to be done all we have to do is follow it. His will is always done.

A life is anything that is moves.
A person is the body of a being.

A person’s being is invisible. The only way to show what it exist is through how he lives his own life. Since a person’s attributes are in the spirit he must make them known through how he lives his life. The two sign of life is movement (cell division/movement in the womb/breath). Does a person not move in the womb before he has ever gained any reason or logic? Is he not void of philosophy? Yet he moves! Does a person take his first breath before he even knows how to do it? Again, is he not void of logic or reason? Why would any person do something that is void of reason and logic why would they even waist time to make that fist cell division or for that the millionth? Why would they stir in their mother’s womb? Someone, explain to me why you took your fist breath. Why didn’t you just lay there in silence and do nothing until someone came along and explained the reasoning and logic to you. You say I took my first breath therefore my life is my own I am in charge of it. So when the day of your death comes can you stop it? Once you die can you take your life up again. Do you really own it? Can you use your reason or logic to stop death? I don’t think so. Can you right now with your reason and logic stop breathing? I don’t think so. You are only in charge of your actions and your actions prove the attributes of your insides (bones). They always reflect the through the flesh. The bones always follow what they worship. They are the sons of their fathers.
