Not that any of the conspiracy crackpots will believe it, but here is the definitive word on tower three.
"Steel structure weakened
It says Tower Seven had an unusual design, built over an electricity substation and a subway; there were many fires that burnt for hours; and crucially, fire fighters could not fight the fires in Tower 7, because they didn't have enough water and focused on saving lives.
Investigators have focused on the east side where the long floor spans were under most stress.
They think fires burnt long enough to weaken and break many of the connections that held the steel structure together.
Most susceptible were the thinner floor beams which required less fireproofing, and the connections between the beams and the columns. As they heated up the connections failed and the beams sagged and failed, investigators say.
The collapse of the first of the Twin Towers does not seem to have caused any serious damage to Tower Seven, but the second collapse of the 1,368ft (417m) North Tower threw debris at Tower Seven, just 350ft (106m) away.
Tower Seven came down at 5.21pm. Until now most of the photographs have been of the three sides of the building that did not show much obvious physical damage. Now new photos of the south side of the building, which crucially faced the North Tower, show that whole side damaged and engulfed in smoke."

I am sure this post will go a really long way to get Ron Paul nominated. Thank you so freaking much for all the energy you put into anti truther posts. Now why don't you run up the street and convince the entire world that buildings fell because airplanes hit them? (and a building fell just because it was there) Or maybe you could use this energy to tell people about the constitution or the illegal war? But oh, hell no, you would rather disagree about 9-11. Well here's my view. There are a lot of pieces of the truth missing about 9-11. But there are no pieces missing about the patriot act, fisa, homeland security, torture camps, fema camps, and total disregard of the rights of all persons that are legal citizens of this country. But those topics take some time to research when with this you can just say them dumb truthers are crazy. Any one dumb enough to believe the "official" story is lost. You really believe that the government has your best interests at heart.
I am sorry for the outburst, but I am so tired of people running their mouths about a terrible tragedy and calling others names.

I fail to understand how anyone, after seeing photos and video, can still believe that the towers fell due to the airplane hits and fire. I just don't get it!

For those of you who still believe the "official excuses", I promise to do my level-best to keep my mind and ears open to you if you can give reasonable answers to these: The Pentagon and PA aside, I have 3 items regarding the NYC events I would like to hear from you regarding. 1) Explain the angle cuts of the verticle support beams and streams of molten steel dripping from them as seen on CNN and most TV coverage.
2) Explain the corroberating stories of police and firemen (most, ex-military guys) who said they could still smell the chordite while digging for survivors. 3) Explain the stories of rescue workers describing the molten steel running down the girder channels underground 7 days after the collapse. We have all been hammered with the exact temps that unpressurized jet fuel burns and the temps at which that particular type of steel melts...concrete, drywall or blow-on insulation aside.
As a disclaimer, I do have a science degree but it isn't physics. I do not have a pilot's license. I have driven race cars for over 20 years and have a better-than-average understanding of physics and forces-applied. I also have a construction background, but not in steel skyscrapers.

I don't know about "nuts"...
It is a primary function of the brain to detect danger. To observe movement and facial expressions and other data and determine whether action is needed. We all do it.
Is that waving grass over there, really a lion's mane? Is this person lying? Is that really a wolf in sheep's clothing? Is something "off" and is it dangerous?
It's apparent that some people are much more sensitive to these inputs. It's as if their significance "dial" is turned way up. They can be superstitious, ascribing significance to a red light turning green when most of us recognize that as a coincidence.
Some are not sensitive at all. Trusting to a fault.
I suspect this may be determined by hormone or brain structure differences.
The trick is the same, regardless: you have a gut reaction, a suspicion, some data; how can you test to see if your suspicion is justified?
For myself, on Sept. 12, I drew a diagram of the towers (based on my imagination) and described how I thought the structures could have failed from the impact and heat. Years later, when the report came out, that's what they concluded happened, so I wasn't surprised.
In my experience, incompetent and fearful people far, far outnumber comicbook villains. Fear and incompetence, together, can look like people acting in conspiracies from the outside, but really be people reacting spontaneously.

Is it wrong for Americans to want to know what those orders were given by Cheney concerning craft coming into the Pentagon with several warnings given by the young man?
You aren't going to try to say that Mineta was imagining that event, are you?
Why did the 9/11 Commission say that Cheney didn't arrive to that bunker until about a half-hour later than Mineta had placed him there, giving or perpetuating the orders that "still stand"?

Ok, We could be here all day...Inside Job? Yes? No???? Answer me this. WHY HASN'T ANYONE BEEN HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE HUGEST MONTEMENTAL BLUNDER OF OUR TIME? This wasn't some 5 and dime store that got held up, folks. This was the greatest superpower on this earth ( supposedly) we have a multi billion dollar defense system which FAILED. All levels of security failed on that day. Standard protocols were ignored and suspended. Are we safe now? Especially questionable with wide open borders. How do we know our defenses wont fail again, without a proper unbiased investigation? That is a governments first priority, to keep it's citizens safe! A mistake doesn't cut it. Training exercises dont cut it. Stand down doesn't cut it either. WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY? A big oil slick made by a oceanliner would gather more attention than this and HAS. Where was the reconstructions of the planes? Why was there no studies and evaluations done for possible explosives? It's not about the mounting evidence pointing it to an inside job. It's about the lack of accountability. We must find the truth or either way none of us are ever going to be truly safe again.

Yes, I did see the 9/11 Truther videos on Mineta and I did see the claims they made. VERY convincing! And I confess it goes straight to my own bias of not liking NeoCon Dick Cheney. I would LOVE to see him impeached and put in jail. I would love for Dennis K's impeachment to work.
But I confess, even though I WANT to believe this Mineta/Cheney thing...that Cheney had our Norad fighter jets "Stand down" and in effect "let" the hijacked passenger plane hit the Pentagon....--- seeing this claim up on 9/11 Truther sites gives me little hope that it is indeed true. I wish it was true, and I must hold my own WISHES in check and not be "played" or "duped" by the leaders in the 9/11 Truther camps.
One thing comes to mind.... that is this.... On the one hand Truthers claim Cheney had the fighter jets "stand down" and not hit the hijacked passenger plane that was to crash into the Pentagon....and on the Other hand the 9/11 Truthers claim that "Really" a rocket hit the Pentagon and not a Passenger Plane.... So right there, which is it? You can't believe in BOTH Pentagon conspiracies, right? That makes no sense to me if you do.

Believe it or not, there actually are terrorists in the world. If the government wanted the political power that comes from an attack on US soil, why not just let Al-Qaeda do it for them?
The idea of a controlled demo, makes no sense, and there are plenty of competing theories among truthers about just how the government was behind it. This indicates that the evidence is circumstantial enough that it leads people to various conclusions, based on their own speculation and conjecture.
The American people have heard this version of events, and most of them reject it. The evidence of conspiracy, which is supposedly so clear, just doesn't convnce me, or most Americans. What is the point in pushing this even if you think it's true? The people just aren't buying it.

The truth is that neither the Truthers nor the Debunkers can *prove* their case, as the government allowed all the evidence at the crime scene to be carted off, where it ended up on Staten Island or sold to China for scrap.
The government certainly never proved its case, and the 9-11 Commission was a lightweight, ineffectual probe that was serously lacking in gravitas. No "investigation" that omits the collapse of a 47-story skyscraper 400 feet from WTC-1 can be called a serious investigation.
So it boils down to an argument over whose theory looks most plausible using photographic and video evidence. In my opinion, the Truther side of the argument is most plausible, and squares most solidly with engineering and the laws of physics.
There is no physical evidence, however, so neither side can prove its case.
Debunkers, take note: There is no official backup for what you have to say. Nothing was proven to support your theories. So when you say WTC-7 fell because of high-rise fires inside it, you have no official story to back you up. The most credible backup you have is an article published in Popular Mechanics.

for real science. A real science journal allows counter arguments. This one does not.
Take the Journal of Chemical Science or Journal of Structural Engineering. If these 9/11 truthers can get their science papers accepted into one of these science journals, then someone is on to something. But so far, nothing.

I am a lifelong Republican, hold two degrees and have a family. I never dreamed I would be among the "conspiracy group", however, in this case they are right and those of you who call them "nuts" need to grow the hell up.
We have trouble in this country and it comes from within. Get to educating yourself.

Your dad was dying because he BELIEVED our horrible government that the air was clean and spent days inhaling asbestos and other chemicals. Now he is on a respirator and can barely take care of himself?
Do you know who the Jersey Girls are? They are the wives of some of these men that were killed that day. They spent hours, days, weeks and months researching and asking questions. Why don't they believe the official word? Why?
It's so easy to sit here, look at a few lame youtubes and act like this was an event that doesn't really matter. Thousands and millions of lives are effected by these events and most of the Truthers have been directly or indirectly impacted by these days. If only your little world was impacted.... You might think differently.

It still does not explain the leasor of the building taking out terrorist insurance the summer of 2001 and getting paid double for the attacks. Leased the asbestos riddled buildings for $15 million in 1998, but took out terrorist attack insurance just months prior and got paid $7billion twice.
It still does not explain the squibs scene prior to the buildings falling as they were collapsing on top of themselves.
It still does not explain all the documents for the Enron people that were in WT7 or them saying to "pull the building" as you do when a professional demo has been set.
bottom line it does not explain all the deaths or the amount of people that are sick due to the amount of asbestos that went into the city on September 11, 2001, it does not explain that the only ones that were aloud to fly on that day were the Bin laden family, or how the troops that were on te ground and in the air in Afghanistan that had Osama Bin Laden trapped were ordered out of the region. I personally watched that docyumentary and OUR TROOPS being interviewed and stating this as fact.
It still doe not explain Ron Paul asking for an investigation into 911. People died and are having lung disease etc, an investigation needs to be done.
It does not explain that we have never heard a black box, or seen any video footage from the most secure building in the WORLD.
Too many unanswered questions and this post does not explain enough for me, an American, an Ron Paul kook, and yes a 911...whatever you want to call me, but what you saw is not necessarily always the truth!

No my friend, I am not "staking" my name or staking my decision that the truthers have been debunked "all upon www.debunking911.com.", though that site and several others have done a lot of heavy lifting. Look, I enjoyed Freedom to Fascism, Zietgiest, and many others. But at the end of the day, if they don't stand up to the light of reason, why hold on to them? Would you not agree? But who is holding these films up to the light of day, up to the light of reason, up to the facts we can all agree on?
While I was a 9/11 Truther last year and a big fan of those movies, one of my dear libertarian friends was not. Back in 2007, I was incredulous that he could NOT be moved or convinced as I was. Finally I asked the question "Why not?" and most importantly, I listened.
His answer surprised me. He said he would take the first 1 minute of any video I was sending him. He would write down the "fact" that was stated as clear evidence. Then he would research that fact only. He would find the FULL CONTEXT of that fact.
For instance, I had sent him a Truther video that had in the first minute the architects of the Twin Towers talking and stating he designed the building to take a plane hit from a 707. Unlike me, who watched the whole film straight through to the end, and of course was thoroughly "convinced" by that time, he on the other hand had stopped the film. He Googled the man's name. He read up on what he said, what he thought, and read the man's statements in FULL CONTEXT. Unlike the film, which just used a sentence or two of the architect, he read what the architect said, all of it and even read his latest essays about 9/11.
Foolishly I said, "So..." and he said, "Well the film, by using that one short clip, is trying to get you to think that the buildings were designed to take such plane hits, and by implication SHOULD NOT FALL DOWN. But according to the architect who designed the building, HE EXPECTED THEM TO FALL DOWN. So what gives? The architect and his team designed the Twin Towers for a 707, flying around 180 mph, out of fuel, lost in the fog & looking for an airport to land. Most importantly and there is a big big difference here, he and his team did not design it to take a larger plane flying 550 mph fully loaded up with fuel slamming intentionally into the Twin Towers. But he was very proud of the fact that, and to his SURPRISE, that the Towers did take the hit and stand for some time BEFORE it fell. You see, he fully expected that the building's structure would fail, he was just happy it took some time before it did. The architect added, that even without the fires, with a big hole like that and if a strong sustaining wind came, the buildings would still come down."
"Wow" I said, "that architect said all of that?" ....."Yes he did, even wrote that, want the link?"
Well now Erin, you can see that my 9/11 Truther eyes were starting to open. I was beginning to see that the 9/11 Truthers have another agenda. They are not after the TRUTH, they are after advancing their version of the truth as they want to see it, or want YOU to see it. I started this thread because I knew it would instantly become controversial, however, without a direct assault on the false front of the Truther movement, I knew there would be little light shed. Posts like yours bring more light to the side of reason and understanding. Nice video. Yet I noticed that the video has a healthy collection of prior effort, trail blazed and developed with a lot of "9/11" war-making vs. truth-seeking DNA.
If your overriding interest here is to help place 9/11 into a proper perspective, especially in respect to Dr. Paul... then you and I can be great friends. However if you want to simultaneously argue forward Dr. Paul's guidance on matters of liberty, while arguing rearward (pushing back) the significance of 9/11 (and yes, I mean the significance of domestic treason)... then you and I have a conflict. Speaking for myself, I am unable to "un-hitch" my ability to understand what Dr. Paul is talking about, from my understanding of the ability for 9/11 to stand up to hard scrutiny.
If you are concerned that tremendous amounts of misunderstanding, misdirection, and coordinated diversion obscures the road forward for Dr. Paul... I'm with ya.
