OREGON - PLEASE VOTE FOR THE OFFICIAL RON PAUL "SLATE OF 8"!

A few days ago I posted asking Oregonians to vote for me as a delegate to the RNC. I have now dropped out to support the "slate of 8" delegate candidates that the official campaign has put together for Oregon. I have listed this slate below, and I ask all Oregonians attending next weekend's district conventions to support the slate.
The Official Oregon Ron Paul slate is:

This slate was assembled by the state RP leadership in conjunction with the county leaders and the serious candidates that the campaign was able to locate and confirm to be legit RPers.
I will still be speaking at the district 1 convention promoting Ron Paul, the slate and "traditional" GOP values and prinicples.

We've got a lot of work to do here in Oregon, and our next step is to send our best people to national. While we won't have the option of sending 27 RPers, we do have choices within the McCain pledges and within the RP pledges, and we certainly need the most votes for our slate which we can get. Beyond that, we know there are many different attitudes among the rest of the GOP, and a lot of them are friendly to us. We want the McCain pledgers who go to national to be from that bunch. :-)
Oregon's votes at national are "locked in" due to the rules here, so there isn't a lot we can do about the presidential nomination voting itself, but we can send folks who will listen to us on the platform issues, and perhaps even help us make connections with others. Should be interesting.
