When it comes to message and strategy, McCain has appeared to flounder.

I contributed to a Republican candidate in the past---
And I am DAILY getting desperate pleas from the GOP to send them money to keep the Dems from getting elected! Each one gets the same 'answer': A Ron Paul slimjim mailed back in their self-addressed stamped envelope!! I get such a sense of satisfaction doing this.
The latest GOP plea
conferred the "honor" to me of a "Platinum Honoree" from the Republican Presidential Task Force, Hon. Mike Huckabee, National Chairman!
It states: Be it known to all who bear witness, that the National Chairman, by virtue of the authority vested in the Executive Director of the Republican Presidential Task Force, confers this warrant of Platinum Membership to:
Mrs. E
A Republican Leader in the community and a steadfast supporter of the highest Republican ideals and principles of individual liberty.
Whereas, President Ronald Wilson Reagan founded the Task Force to honor and support strong Republican leadership, we are pleased to recognize the long service of Mrs. E to our Party and nation and; we have, therefore, affixed the grand seal of the Republican Presidential Task Force and our names in confirmation thereof.
What frosts my cookies about this sort of plea, is that I am certain, because of my age, they are hoping I am also senile and will respond because they have propped up my ego! (Not!!) This just makes me furious and a bit sick at this tactic.

I believe that this presidential race will see McCain lose by the widest margin in history. Barr and Baldwin will each get 4x the current record vote counts for their parties. Nader will come in 3rd, with Barr in 4th.
