What's Going To Happen In St. Paul, MN?
Is St. Paul, MN going to be completely taken over by the rEVOLution? Exactly how many thousands of us are going to flock to St. Paul to be apart of history is unknown, but there will be thousands.
This RNC is our last hope...our last chance to reverse course, and change history. This is our time.
I do not think the media will be able to hide Ron Paul's support. The convention floor is going to be filled with Ron Paul supporters...pretending to be there for McCain.
The delegates are going to rEVOLt....McCain is not going to win the nomination on the 1st ballot.
I personally think all hell is going to break loose...the Neocons are going to get their buts handed to them in St. Paul.
It's time to take back the Republican Party.

If you're going to be on the convention floor in St. Paul...
Get ready to TAKE CHARGE and be on the alert for every dirty trick in the book to be used by the neocons. I'm all for fighting fire with fire...I personally would not mind at all if the anarchists blocked the McCain delegates from getting to the convention.
Aren't most of McCain's delegates 80 years old + and senile? You'd have to be senile to vote for McCain. And exactly HOW MANY REAL DELEGATES are going to actually show up for McCain is unknown.
If I was going to be on the convention floor, I'd be armed to the teeth with information....knowlege of the process, how it works - know it works inside and out. I'd bury myself in as much information about the RNC and the delegate process as possible....and then, once on the convention floor - ORGANIZE, but I'd do so quietly. Test the waters first...to find out if we are amongst "friends." Recruit. Talk, but don't give yourself away.
I'm sure there will be a plan in place to "weed out," the Ron Paul people - so organizing in an open fashion may be difficult.
Ron Paul supporters and delegates MUST find a way to communicate with each other and organize. Who knows, the convention could be chalk full of Ron Paul rEVOLutionaries...could we take over the convention floor? Could we take over the convention? Power in numbers....big numbers of Ron Paul supporters willing to REVOLT at the RNC.

Expectations
I think expectations of a convention revolt are a bit much, based solely on the fact that the rules are rigged against such an occurrence. Look no further than the Texas and Nevada GOP conventions for an example of how party insiders create rules to suppress minority opinion - even when the "minority" opinion is a clear MAJORITY on the floor!
BUT...that doesn't mean we can't have a positive impact on the party's direction. And this is by no means a last chance. It may be the last chance this year, but the revolution will continue well past 2008.

While I don't know the official plans for the convention, those heading to St. Paul might want to pay attention to this article, which tells about some group planning to block access to the convention.

ST. PAUL -- An anarchist group threatening to crash the Republican National Convention has taken to the airwaves. Ironically calling themselves the “RNC Welcoming Committee,” members of the group shared plans to wreak havoc during the RNC. Their plans include blocking bridges into St. Paul.
Those plans, called “Swarm, Seize and Stay,” call for members to try and cut off convention-goers and delegates from the arena.
I just now tried to visit The RNC Welcoming Committee's website, but got this message: "This account has been suspended. Either the domain has been overused, or the reseller ran out of resources."

Well, we're not going to protest... Those of us who are delegates will be at the convention, and thousands of us will be at the rally at the University of Minnesota.
Besides, we're all Republicans. We should have nothing to fear. We have a right to be at this convention because it is also our convention.... if anything, we're even more Republican and have even more of a right to be there. Plus, we're not going to be violent or even protest/cause a disturbance. But they will know we are there, and our voices/views will be heard.

It is possible, but I repeat...we need to grab hold of the media somehow. The media has been told to ignore the "domestic terrorists" (that's us), apparently, at the march. The media, especially in DC is accustomed to big marches, so it is almost a 'ho hum." We need some clever and outrageous ideas, nothing even remotely violent, but something which if given a little pre-publicity, might get the media there. 20,000 thousand people...25,000 people...not so unusual and besides HS has, by un verifiable word I got, has said not to cover the march. Yes, if we can get the march covered, then bring masses to the Convention, we have a chance.

his home number, and where he lives. Our kids were friends. I do'nt know how much choice he has on what he reports on. He's on channel six here in Richmond, Va. He used to write for the for the Richmond times dispatch. I tried to call him on the 4th did'nt get an answer. Saw him about a year ago while he was waiting to do a story on the Micheal Vick trial. My brother was in court for a pot charge. I watched his camera fore him while he went to get an ice coffee drink. I'll try him again if you people think it' worth it. It's just local Richmond Metro area. Any input ???????????

in.? Something like "you" do the news, I have seen it on CNN. People send in pictures off their cell phones of what is going on and the media puts it on TV.
