Finding a Hero

I guess I’m something of an oddity. In my entire life I’ve never looked up to anyone as a hero, or set anyone up as my role model. I have always loved my dad but I never had a desire to emulate him or garner his approval....
....Which is why, as I’m preparing to start my last year of college, I find it so odd that I’ve developed such a strong admiration for Congressman Ron Paul....
....Who can fault a man who practices what he preaches. To be ridiculed, looked down on, and openly laughed at; anyone in Ron Paul’s place would have lashed out but people watching the debates couldn’t help but feel admiration for the only man on stage who never threw dirt on his opponents, endured the majority of the onslaughts and when allowed to respond, acted in the manner of a true statesman; a true representative of the people...

and cannot respond properly at this moment! Thank You for this post, dear dear, patriot! All I can say at this moment is thank you, fellow patriots for being here...otherwise ....I think I would go insane! God bless Ron Paul, and all of you who recognize the enormity of this moment in history the only man in my "aware" lifetime that I absolutley respect for his ability to put a lifetime of integrity and principle as an example to all!
In the face of his example and the enormity of this historic moment..please ask yourself what more can you do to save our country!!! Then DO IT .... DO SOMETHING!!! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and we must all do all we can to save our country...as time goes on it will only get harder to break thru the matrix ...the time is NOW make no mistake...we shall rise to the historic moment ....or fall under tyranny and oppression!

I think everyone has found a hero in Ron Paul,in one form or another.I'm 51 and this was the first time in my life that I heard a politician speak....and said "YES". That man is speaking for my concerns,and the well being of my Country.

But I'm in my early 60s....been to numerous rock concerts, never once threw my undies on the stage or yelled and screamed myself silly...not given to such things. But Ron Paul...he's the one. His message hits home and in such a timely fashion...he and no one else deserves out support until he says to do otherwise, imo. Focus, everyone, focus.

Ron Paul is such an honorable man, I am very proud to
support him. However, he is also a humble man and probably is uncomfortable with us calling him a hero. He gives us the inspiration to try to do right---no matter what the cost.
