Students for Ron Paul are Taking Over...
Every fall semester the Leadership Institute (LI) launches a massive field program. They hire around 70 Field Representatives to work across the country and start conservative/libertarian student organizations. (Competition is fierce, however - over 1000 applications last year.)
Now for the best part. Students for Ron Paul is becoming Young Americans for Liberty. I’ve already spoken with the Leadership Institute, and they are perfectly happy to help us start YAL chapters. Therefore, you will get paid to travel to colleges and universities and start YAL chapters on campuses. You will directly affect and grow our movement.
I worked at the Leadership Institute after I graduated, and it was a stepping stone towards becoming the National Youth Coordinator for Ron Paul. It is a quality organization and many of their staffers are Ron Paul supporters. If you enjoy the grassroots, college activism, and you’re a people person, this is the job for you. -

One of the unwritten stories of this campaign has been that young Ron Paul supporters have flooded all of the leadership positions and internships in conservative organizations around the country!
I'll be traveling around the country spreading the Freedom message at the end of August for three months. While my expenses will be taken care of once I start the internship, I'm raising funds to tour with my music and inspire folks across the country to stay active in the Ron Paul R3VOLUTION (during the internship). And to be quite honest, I left behind 2 jobs for the campaign season, car broke down and had to be salvaged, but at least I'm in better shape riding my bike!
I will be required, however to have a car for the internship---and this car/van will be a Campaign for Liberty Music-mobile with your help...

Just want to say how very proud I am of you young Americans. My generation dropped the ball, seldom even bothered to teach you the values that had been taught to us by our parents, but here you are, roaring back, demanding liberty and the Constitution! With people such as you, there is hope for the future and for freedom. Go get 'em! The future is yours, but we older folks will do all we can to help you succeed.

I have some connections that could certainly come up with a very good vehicle at a low price here in Oklahoma and we could work something out. I would love to do something like this, but now that I'm married with three kids it is out of the question, so I'll just live vicariously through you and the other great young patriots that will be our future leaders. And some day I hope to send my daughter out into the world in a van, spreading the message of freedom, liberty, personal responsibility, and peace. So, I'm trying to figure out
if this will be some kind of political donation/interest free loan that requires FEC reporting or just helping out your band.
I'm sorry that I'm so picky about the details, but this really makes me nervous, I mean whatever regulations that might exist.
I've seen lots of "chip in" requests in the past like for Granny Warrior or NH recount, etc., but I wonder how those were handled.

Only contributions to candidates or ballot issues are regulated by the government. They have limited authority to regulate elections.
Don't let them intimidate you (easier said than done).

I have supported Leadership Institute and my gut feeling was that they are true conservatives and not neocons, but the last time I was in touch with them I asked if they supported Ron Paul and missed the call when they called to speak with me. So I have lived in uncertainty for a few months. I am so glad to hear your take on the whole issue. Congratulations to you and YAL sounds like a great organization. I guess YAL wants to focus in more than Leadership Institute. (Honey at Christmas-Great!). YAL is Ron Paul specific and Leadership Institute is broader, is that right.

I think that Dr. Paul was right in his praise for the
qualities of the young men and women who joined his campaign. Clearly they recognize the unfathomable economic burden that faces them, and their children, in the future and many instances have been documented on this forum of their unrelenting energy and determination. Even the MSM, which rarely passes an opportunity to marginalize Dr. Paul, has often taken note of the unusual tenacity of Dr. Paul's army of youthful volunteers.
