Pelosi says House Judiciary may hold hearings on Kucinich impeachment resolution

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said this morning that the House Judiciary Committee may hold hearings on an impeachment resolution offered by Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio).

Kucinich is expected to offer a "privileged resolution" this afternoon calling on the House to look at whether President Bush should be removed from office for lying to Congress and the American public when he sought congressional approval back in 2002 for taking military action to invade Iraq and overthrow Saddam Hussein.

WAIT!- I am confused- Are you sure about that???

I see people saying 'Ron Paul' voted against questioning the amount of power of the 'House' in 'this' link.

http://clerk.house.gov/ev...

It says 'Paul' voted ''''FOR'''' it.... NOT against it!

SO- either I'm confused or others are confused. Ron Paul voted along with the majority of the Democrats.

Ron Paul voted against impeachment

so should he be thrown out too?

http://clerk.house.gov/ev...

........

........

No, because he's done so

No, because he's done so many great things in the support of constitutional liberty. I disagree with his vote, but he probably had his reasons--like it being a waste of money.

One thing that does disturb me here lately is the implication by people that we can't disagree with Dr. Paul and still remain his supporters. I find it very disturbing.

I disagree

with Ron Paul on 3 issues. But his honesty and determination to follow the constitution out weigh those 3 things. This man may very well be our last chance for a free country.

Then maybe other

people have their reasons for voting against impeachment too. However, I didn't see any reasoned thinking like that on here. Just typical Paultard shrieking without knowing that Ron Paul has been against impeaching Bush, and has never himself introduced Articles of Impeachment despite all the "tough" Constitution talk.

I'll never stop supporting

I'll never stop supporting the cause that RP has galvanized but i must admit that i'm a bit disappointed that he voted against the impeachment.

I'd really be careful

I'd really be careful throwing around the term 'Paultard'.

I don't care

When people start using anti-woman slurs against Pelosi WHO VOTED THE SAME WAY AS RON PAUL, I think the term applies.

It says Paul voted Yea,

It says Paul voted Yea, doesn't that mean he was for it>

we need an email bomb...and phone bomb to this B-I-T-C-.....

if we post it and do a relentless phone/email bomb....threatening her with a nonstop campaign to get her unelected....
for not following the constitution and impeaching this lying president....

Did Anyone Capture This on

C-span and; if so, can you please You tube this.

Thanks in advance.

No question she is...

stalling. She needs to start paying attention to us, though, 'cuz she's next on the impeachment list! I know I've signed a petition to get her impeached as well.

affirmation: President Paul

affirmation: President Paul 2008

The committee MAY hold hearings? She needs to be tossed like the rest of the garbage,

She should be

tased to get on the ball. We have been waiting long enough. Get busy.
Peace now.

Pelosi should be thrown in jail as well

She is a co-conspirator as far as I'm concerned. Obstruction of justice should be the first charge.

Stalling thats all

there will be no real movement on this.

I agree,

JM
but we can hope for the best. I just wonder if a good long jail sentence would rehabilitate Speaker Pelosi? I think jail would be too good for her and most of congress for that matter. Ya know, it seems most all of congress and the present administration are guilty of unconstitutional activities. In my opinion they all need to go to prison. Legally, I don't think the people of this country have any recourse. Maby we could file a complaint in small claims court,,,,just a thought

Absolutely correct!

Once a government official commits a crime, they are no longer legitimate government. We may eventually have to convene a new Constitutional Convention. This will be called treason by the treasonous criminals themselves. Perhaps martial law will be declared.

I have a feeling the Feds will draw first blood, then we will be forced to defend ourselves. We do have recourse, unfortunately the final recourse will be to storm the Bastille and drag them out forcibly. One way or another, these fools will pay for their crimes..

keep hope alive!

Ya know,

JM
I think most people feel the same way as you. I would like congress to shape up and do the right thing, but I'm afraid that is just wishful thinking. Rove won't appear before Congress in the Siegelman case either. If you or I were to fail to appear in court for a traffic violation, say, then I think you know what would happen. Sooner or later a sheriff would appear at your door and you would be arrested. That's what I just cain't grasp altogether. I have to go to jail for not appearing in court for a traffic violation, but yet, Rove is above the law and doesn't have to answer to anyone! Strange!@#$!@ Man that's real justice for ya.......
Here's an article on that matter...
Siegelman wants you to let Congress know that Rove must face the consequences of his actions. So do we. Link: http://www.bradblog.com/?...

Kuchinich on C-Span right now 2PM Pacific

IT'S DOABLE

The floodgates are open!

Nancy Pelousy must really be feeling the heat from Cindy Sheehan. Now is the time to march on Washington. Maybe we can get Dennis Kucinich elected Speaker.

If Sheehan steals Pelosi's

If Sheehan steals Pelosi's seat, I may buy a big fireworks rocket and shoot it off for her. Pelosi is on the Bush payroll, and deserves to be thrown out along with all the other Democrat toadies in Congress.

The biggest problem is I can't think of a way to flush the Democrats down the pipe where they belong without GOP human feces bubbling back up to take their place.
