Libertarians being bumped from D.C rally busses

Libertarians from all over the north east are reporting being bumped from the bus lists at the last minute to accomodate Chuck Baldwin supporters, in spite of having paid deposits in advance. Though deposits are being refunded, many of the bumped riders (some having paid their deposits as much as 6 weeks ago) are reporting they’re refunds are "in the mail" and won’t be recieved until Monday or later, leaving many with not enough money and to little notice to make alternative arrangements to get to the March. I myself am one of 19 local Libertarians that was bumped from just 1 of the regional busses.

That was Chuck Baldwin's response today to news of this thread. I was his driver a couple of weeks ago in Michigan, so emailed him about it and he replied.

How would anybody even know their party affiliation? This sounds pretty bogus to me. Besides, what would be the point, anyway?

Seems to be a lot of discussion here, on a topic without any referencing link.
Whether this is happening, or, why this is happening, or, if it is happening the way it's being described here, seems to be, at least at the moment, one person's report (which may be entirely accurate).
Before getting up in arms either way about this issue, however, perhaps it would be prudent to obtain some further verification. SFTS, do you have any link for your report, or perhaps additional CB supporters willing to confirm the story you're reporting?
MY thoughst, is this report is bogus
and an attempt to create negative attitude.
Keep the faith and don't believe everything you hear (especially from those on this site who's only goal is to cause discourse).
IF this is true, it is not in the spirit of Ron Paul supporters, including myself.

Or when Paul said Barr was a liberty candidate in the Libertarian Party? Ron Paul undoubtedly supports Barr and his campaign, just as he supports Baldwin.

But i laugh at the probable responses if the situation was reversed and Libertarians were turning away Baldwin supporters...I would have to hide for cover

Provide documentation that only LP members were bumped, and that CP members specifically selected by their party affiliation, were put on in their seats..
You have no such documentation,because you are making this up.
And the bus companies had no such documentation of who was LP or who was CP. Do you really think they are passing out lists for excluding people from the event? If so, you are deluded. They want as many there as possible, from all camps.
I'm sorry you and others got bumped, for whatever reason.
However, making it into a LP vs CP conflict to serve your own ego agenda really sucks.

The people who were bumped
The people who were bumped should combine their resources and see if they can still get there.
I know some might not believe in credit cards, but this is a perfect example why credit cards are useful. CC could be used then paid off as soon as the refunds arrive in the mail.

this is inexcusable for Ron Paul supporters. Not to mention quite possibly a possible lawsuit. Sounds a lot like a discriminatory breach of a verbal agreement.

Yeah, most of these busses were organized through the Ron Paul 2008 (now the Campaign for Liberty PAC) meet-up groups.
Why are there Baldwin supporters on these buses?
Couldn't they arrange their own transportation through the Baldwin Meetups?

Well, Baldwin was a huge
Well, Baldwin was a huge supporter of Ron Paul and I believe Baldwin has even stated that he would step aside as nominee of The Constitution Party if RP wanted to take his place.
Baldwin and his supporters are probably all just big Ron Paul supporters as well, so they want to be there just as much.
But, no individuals should lose their seats on the buses to other individuals - that's just not right.
What a bunch of bull!
