remember the time Ron rung that Liberty bell in Philadelphia?
its still ringing in my Canadian ears!

how about us telling Ron to change the name of CFL?
in Canada we have lame football league its yes its called CFL
Canadian Football League...
so my idea is to tell Ron to change the name
to RFL

It is a good day

it sounds like the march was a great success. Hurray, to all the marchers and those who spoke. Also, thanks to the coverage by BTM, and Revolution radio.
Peace

Name Change

You can't call it RFL because people will get easily confused with the Robot Fighting League.

Ha ha ha ha ha! Too funny!

Actually, it's a "restoration" and not a revolution. In a revolution, the old ways are done away with. Our laws, the constitution, are the greatest man has ever seen or heard. The problem is that the people holding the positions of power do not follow them, so we must RESTORE the constitution.
On a side note, I've never competed in the Robot Fighting League but I'm curious if plain ol' bots are allowed to compete. Thanks for the post.....hilarious!

"Guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism."

Got to love

www.dvds4delegates.com the newest and possibly the greatest weapon the Revolution now possesses.

Canada, and awakened Canadians. I like the name.

Cheers!

Canada our northern friend. Thank's for this up lifting thread. Let's see how long before someone has a problem with it. LOL

Let's Be Uplifted

John Adams' Final Toast: "INDEPENDENCE FOREVER"

Much good cheer was passed around the table last week to celebrate Independence Day.

http://www.dailypaul.com/...

Today calls for stiffer cordial.

It’s time to redouble our determination.

'Here’s Look’n at ya.'

My favorite quotation from the Revolutionary period, by the other Adams, John's cousin, Massachusetts Patriot Sam Adams, familiar to many of us, but worth invoking defiantly on this day with fire in our eyes:

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

With glass held high : FREEDOM !!!!

"I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do. What I can do, I should do. And what I should do, by the grace of God, I will do." - Edward Everett Hale

just heard that

quote from a speaker at the rally, but did not know it was Samuel who said it.
TY
A stiffer salutatory drink would be an Irish Salute to the EU NAU SPP NAFTA CFR etc..
A single malt would represent the single digit

A Singularly Excellent Sentiment

I’ll drink to that.

First, in the spirit of your post…an Irish Toast inspired by the drunken sailor antics of our Federal Reserve:

“ It is better to spend money like there’s no tomorrow, than to spend tonight like there’s no money.”

But what I really liked about your toast was the ‘singleness’ of purpose.

I’m not one to usually thump the Bible, but here is the thought which your Irish cheers inspired:

“ The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.”
--- Mathew 6:22

Shakespeare used the word in this same sense: “ I speak with a single heart.”

‘Single’ is contrasted to ‘double’, which has the same original root as the word ‘duplicity’. Such phrases as “double-dealing” and “double-talk” convey the connotation.

‘Single’, in this sense, is directly linked with ‘integer’, meaning “Whole, entire, not divided.”

On that note, let me offer you another, more whole hearted Irish Toast to Ron Paul, a singular example of integrity, to the R3VOLution he has inspired, and to you, fellow patriot, the single most integral part of the inevitable success of our whole cause:

“May you always have a clean shirt, a clear conscience, and enough solid coins in your pocket to buy a pint.”

…now, don’t tell the bartender to make yours a double. ;-)

Absolut Ron Paul Soda

http://www.dailypaul.com/...

not much of a vodka drinker but what about mixing Ron Paul soda with Absolut vodka?

Remember "The Ron Paul"?

Remember this drink? To quote Thundercloud, "It's the drink nobody's talkin' about!, But everybody loves!"

Perhaps a good version of "The Ron Paul" sans vodka would be this Ron Paul soda (um, it's cola, right?) mixed with RONrico rum!

Ronrico rum?

reminds me of the rum Hemingway drunk the famous Cuba libre rum

Ron America Liberty Rum?

(No subject)

computer went crazy

I am drinking wine now but why on earth did my single post multiplied into three?

cheers to all liberty lovers!

Another Irish Toast

Here's to being single...
Drinking doubles...
And seeing triple!
