Please, spread the Ron Paul message the Ron Paul way!

Hearing Ron Paul speak yesterday reminded me why I've liked Ron Paul for years. His speech, while it seemed at times like a ramble, still focused clearly on the message of FREEDOM- free to drink raw milk, free to be of any religion we choose, free to spend our money how we want to- and RESPONSIBILITY.

Walking to the nearest Metro stop, I saw a woman about half a block ahead of me ask, "so is Ron Paul a liberal or what?" Perfect opportunity to win over another supporter, right? I head over there and tell the woman that Ron Paul is a real Republican, and is passionate about getting the government off of our backs.

Then this guy comes up next to me and tells the woman, "Liberalism is a sin, and Ron Paul is no sinner."

Consider that one potential supporter of the freedom message lost. Please guys, let's TALK to those that show an interest in Ron Paul and not spew these destructive one-liners. If Ron Paul walked around saying, "Liberalism is a sin, and I am no sinner," I find it hard to believe that he'd have many supporters at all.

Thanks, nothappy

you are so correct. I have this feeling though there are people saying this stuff on purpose to turn people off. Hopefully, Dr. Paul message will get out regardless. Peace

I don't understand why Ron

I don't understand why Ron Paul wouldn't appeal to every group of people, including the liberals. Liberals are part of America also. I was unable to make it to the march, but at the rally in our state, as I stood and cheered for Ron Paul, I glanced around the close to 2000 folk there, and the thing that stood out to me was the fact there was great diversity of the people. That made me more proud than ever to stand behind a man who is truly reflective of what America is made of. It truly saddens me when he exemplifies so clearly the message of freedom, in its wholeness, and then someone comes along and destroys it by trying to cause division. I hope that lady will take time to research on her own, so she can see for herself, what a truly wonderful man Ron Paul is.

I agree with Nothappy

If you insult people who are in the wrong that will make them more defensive and put a bad look to Ron Paul when they could've been a potential supporter. If you could've convince them.

Ron Paul appeals to liberals also because hes antiwar, and wants to protect our civil liberties. So that person who was a liberal could've been a Ron Paul supporter. You never know still but had a good chance.
