Ok...so I was there and this is just my opinion...

At the Philly Rally in Nov. it was said we had 5000. And to me it did indeed look like there were 5000 there.

At this march I know we had WAY WAY more than at the Philly Rally. I'm willing to bet the ranch that it was indeed 10000!

And I just want to say...I met a new friend Rob who's going into the Army this Wednesday. He was a great guy and I spent a good part of the day with him. He started out as a Thompson supporter that wound up in the Ron Paul camp when Thompson dropped out. Anyway...while we were marching he mentioned that some of the comment being said were making him mad because he didn't agree with them. He and I talked about how this being America, you kinda have to learn to embrace those who think differently and even if you don't agree with them...you gotta respect their right to think whichever way they choose.

Rob was what I would sorta call a "Preppy" kinda guy...I also saw a Lady with dreadlocks carrying a rat on her shoulder, I saw Mom's and Dad's with their kids, I saw old folks (one older Lady was carrying a really scary sign stating she was Pro-life), I saw Bikers, people of color, punk rockers, you name it...and the thing that I came away with was....

Oh My God...we can do it!!! We CAN put it all aside for a whole day and stand united. We can go a whole day without giving the Police even one reason to turn on us....We can go a whole day standing beside each other and be so happy that the other person was there and we weren't alone in this.

And I gotta tell you....This would have been the perfect opportunity for the MSM to play us out as crazies for marching for a guy who isn't even in the race (per say) anymore....and they chose to smother it. THEY MUST BE SHITTING THEIR PANTS!

We can do it folks...if we're willing to stand collectively and united...we can! Believe it!

We need to make a list of the things we deem MOST important and meet up like this again and again. We gotta make them worried. And believe me...their silence is deafening proof that they are worried.

East Coast.....Central....and West Coast!
I'm an East Coast girl..and to attend this event on the East Coast cost me exactly $52 dollars. ($35 for the round trip bus that was chartered by a local Meetup group and $17 dollars for my food and water that I brought from home for the day) Oh, and $3 dollars that I paid for an awesome "Campaign for Liberty" button I bought =)
$52 dollars is not too much to sacrifice for Liberty and believe me, I'm dirt poor.

I loved it. Most of the speakers were great (although the actual speakers [as in audio] were turned up a little too much for those of us near the front). I don't believe that there was anything near 10000, at least not at once. I'm guessing more like 3-4k during Dr. Paul's speech, with most of those on the perimeter of the lawn (in the shade).
The march was definitely a success. I spoke with a number of people who hadn't really listened to the CFL's (and Dr. Paul's) message but who definitely heard it on Saturday.

But people were coming and going all day. I'll tell you this it was a hell of a lot more than 500 to 800 people. Those 500 were the brave souls who stood in the scorching heat in front of the stage all day. It was and awesome day.
