Revolution Broadcasting = Tyrannical Police State

Like many others I tuned into rb to hear the march coverage and joined their IRC chat room. I watched many people get banned for various reasons or no reason at all. Whilst all this was going on someone called in live on air and described how sweaty their private parts are in detail and the hosts were laughing and joking about it! Later this host also said if he calls you a jerk, you're a jerk and should deal with it! What's the difference between AOL censoring people or some IRC channel op censoring people... tyranny is tyranny... they are just a micro example of criminals that would behave the same if they were ever given any power. Every 15 minutes they were soliciting donations, but when someone brought up that 30k had already been donated towards the march and how they didn't receive either the clear audio or any video feed as promised, they were quickly banned and others were told to donate more as this would fix the problems in the future! Is this the freedom we are fighting for? To be treated like dissenters in some communist regime? Also one of my friends got a urinating in public ticket due to there not being any porta johns at the march. Where did the 30k we donated go? Will the financials be released?

There were plenty

of porta johns just across the street! I was at the march so I did not hear the broadcast but I can tell you that of the few times I have been on that site I have had clear sound. Now, the chat room is another matter altogether and I seldom log in to that because there are alot of very disruptive posters and some trolls on there...to the point where moderation is very much needed! Perhaps in thier desire to keep some rude, trollish posters from taking over the conversations and to keep it more relevant during such an important broadcast they became over zealous and overly vigilant with the moderating?

Should have went

It was a wonderful day.

The aerospace museum had bathrooms, and a McDonalds.

There were lots of public

portajohns just across the street. I was there, so I didn't hear the broadcast, but I think others have said if you wanted to listen to the speeches, they came in loud and clear and that seems like the most important function

As far as the silly banter on radio broadcasts in general, I hate it. I can't even listen to Glenn Beck, he's such an idiot most of the time.

Maybe there is a glitch.

Maybe there is a glitch. Seriously, sounds weird.

Banned

I was banned for no reason in the Revolution Broadcasting chat. Not kicked, no warning- just banned.

YES

God Bless America and God Bless Dr Steve!!!!

explanation or reasoning for the police state

I was hoping for an explanation from someone at rb why they think a police state is necessary.

This was my first listen

I enjoyed it for the most part. And was very happy to get to hear Ron's entire speech there!

The few times I've listened

I definitely saw the moderators on a power trip. Especially that UncleRhan creep. His radio show is unbelievably painful to listen to,as it has no direction other than him trying to be cute.

Thank you, Revolution Broadcasting

Your synopsis is your experience, so here is mine: I was able to listen to the March speeches live and clear, even though I was unable to attend, in fact, I most likely heard the speeches better than if I had been there! I didn't hear the trash talk which you are referring to (had to get back to work after the speeches) I'm grateful to Revolution Broadcasting for being there and for providing the service. Now, if you can't say anything good...don't say anything at all. United we stand, divided we fall.

So tyranny is ok?

as long as we are united during it?

Hilarious.

Hilarious.

Parent has always seemed a bit unbalanced to me, maybe he's just a clown, but I guess the proof was in the pudding.

Bump

Bump for Freedom!!!!

About the money

The 30k didn't go towards revolution broadcasting(www.revolutionbroadcastin...)-it went towards the revolution march (www.revolutionmarch.com) . The online broadcasting company was just one venue covering the event-there was also breakthematrix,www.freedom.tv and all the youtube videos.
Here's what we got for $30,000-Hours of great speakers, live music, a sound stage, permits for a march, A website dedicated to the march, water, people to coordinate the march, probably hundreds, if not thousands of hours setting up and removing equipment from the rally, and I'm sure I'm missing stuff-but you get the point. They gave us a goal and it worked out great. $3.00 per person attending is a great price for the cause.
If your friend would have walked a block down the street there were portajohns and public museums too.

Everyone did a wonderful job!

It was great for those of us who couldn't make it to have it covered.

really

Really User....I was so sad about the way Steve Parent acted...I thought we were all trying to unite...but he just drove us apart at this most critical moment....
