I remember driving home after work last summer and spotted a guy standing alone on the busy connector holding a cardboard box that said, "Ron Paul 08". I had kind of heard someone mention this "Ron Paul" but knew nothing about him. Later last summer I saw that "Ron Paul guy" on C-Span in a private interview. I was so impressed. SOLD!
Hang in there, you never will know who you are influencing but there is ALWAYS someone who is paying attention where you least expect it.
I'd like to thank that lone patriot in Boise with the cardboard box. That picture is plastered in my mind.

I'm pretty sure the free state project kind of intends on staying in the Union. Its not a seccesionist movement, just a movement to live among like thinking lovers of liberty with the added bonus of concentrated votes for representatives who see things our way.

He was controversial - getting a spot on Leno when he was excluded from the debates with the con-men candidates.

I have converted many people, it just seems to keep on getting harder and more frustrating.

And by "us getting the credit", I meant it in the aspect of conservative libertarian minded individuals. What if the neocons get the credit and we just end up back where we were.

What you have to remember is that before RP, a lot of us were in that same group of ignorant idiots. Remember that sign, "Ron Paul Cured My Apathy!"? Many of us were brainwashed, neo-con loving idiots... or brainwashed idiots that actually thought maybe the Dems would change things.

Not saying that there aren't a lot of people who support RP that have been for freedom and the Constitution for a long time. He's got all the militia types, the gun lovers, etc. that have been fighting our federal government for a long time on his side... but the majority of us, I think, were just normal people who are sick and tired of the way things are going and we want to do something about it... and we found the freedom message and it fit.

We can wake more people up. As things get worse, and we know they will, these "ignorant people" will miraculaously come around. We've just had it too good for too long for people not to trust what the government is telling them. As they continue to lie, cheat and steal... and as things get progressively worse for the average American... it won't be hard to convince them that real changes need to be made. And we'll be there to provide the solutions.

Remember, with every adversity, comes an opportunity.

I visit here often and do not post, until I find answers not ?'s . If you check out house joint resolution 193 from 1933 we can establish our own personal freedoms .Congress declared itself insolvent and pledged all our gold , property , and any other meaningful assets to the federal reserve . Treating us as only vessels in commerce. However they did say in house joint resolution 193 the only way to pay for anything is to use silver or gold. That is why when you use federal debt notes you can never really own it . It is used as collateral to the federal reserve system . Answer buy a tax foreclosed property or private property w/ a gold & silver broker at the table, change money to gold back to money for the convenience of the seller . Show your local court that this property was paid for w/ gold or silver and have it removed from the county ledger so it can not be rehypothecated (borrowed against ) . There should be no usury fee or property tax on it for it is private and sovereign ! so not only do we regain our property back one enlightened soul at a time but we finally can begin to take back the purse strings and control of our governments spending.
We would be right by the law and could only accomplish this together in numbers showing the courts that they our last hope and straw!

My entire family will not move to New Hampshire. We occupy Texas, Florida, California, Colorado, Oklahoma, New Mexico. I have people close to me in all of these places. If you have fewer ties, maybe you can go to NH.

It sounds great to start over some where, but I don't know how or where. It just doesn't work. Then our army will have to be very, very strong to stand these elitists down.

And, I plan to move to NH with the FSP people one of these days. It's very appealing to be working with hundreds, then thousands of others at the state level and the local level. I just love how there are people moving and rocking the boat big time already! I was pleased to meet the Doc at an FSP event during the campaign exploratory period. I think New Hampshire will become quite the oasis of liberty over time. Hopefully some other states will emerge as well.
