I would think that if Ron Paul read this post he would kindly ask you to stop speaking for him. You are making a lot of assumptions from his speech.

I agree completely, however, actions that you take because of your religious beliefs may be relevant. As long as you neither break my leg nor pick my pocket, because of your religious belief, fine.

But - Using government to enforce your religious beliefs, for example teaching of creationism - is wrong, Using force to try to insist that a religious belief is actually a sceintific belief is wrong. Further, you can not expect to be allowed to hide stupidity behind religious belief. While I would not persecute the snake dancers or scientologists for their believes, I will not accept that their beliefs are irrelevant either, their beliefs can do damage tom society in general, and me in particular ( for example, if one of their snakes gets loose, and bites me)

Now is not the time to debate your Religion. If you and I do not have Liberty we cannot even discuss those beliefs. Keep to the message, not your message but the message of freedom!

James 2:18-24

Rainy this scripture is good for you also the work that justified Abraham is the cicumcision. If you haven't noticed the mob in the united states has already been tricked into believing there rights come from man (nature) and they have already sold them for a price (welfare, money for public scool, student loans). Why haven't you joined your evolutionist brothers and sold your? Are you waiting for a higher bid. Why are you here? Do you think you can make me believe this great lie and thus give up my unalienable rights and trade them for natures rights. Sounds a little like the UN rights to me. There's something about the combination of internet forums and the psychology of the human ego that brings out endless variations on a conversation you'll recognize from childhood:

A: "Yer stoopid."

The variations are endless and quite annoying. However, occassionally there's something enlightening, too, from our many intelligent posters that makes sifting through the crap worthwhile. I guess you just don't take the non-sense so seriously. And try not to attack the messengers.

I agree with this post. Such debates are pointless, inappropriate for this venue, and divisive. Let's listen to Dr. Paul on this one and knock it off.

If Paul did in fact say, " BUT in a FREE SOCIETY it's really not relevant", Dr. Paul is 100% wrong. America was founded on Christ, for the advancement of the gospel of Christ. From the Mayflower Compact, state constitutions, declaration and fedeal constitution, including the Northwest Ordinance. I understand the God hating humanists desire "to be their own gods", but this French Revolutionary ideal will sink American liberties. No God, no liberties. If you think the evolutionary, dog eat dog, survival of the fittest "theory's" are going to protect everyones liberties, you probably think Fox news is fair and balanced.
Culture is a reflection of the predominant religion of that culture. No, there is no neutrality, you are either for Christ or against Christ. What you believe will be expressed in the culture. God will not be mocked.
