Suddenly Everyone Agrees With Ron Paul!

It seemed that Ron Paul was everywhere today, and that everyone was in agreement with him. Let's start with Fed Chairman Bernanke: "Congressman, I couldn't agree with you more that inflation is a tax, and that inflation is currently too high." (Video here, quote at 5:10)

TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE: They want RP supporters' $ and silence
They knew that Ron Paul won the vast majority of web polls, won the vast majority of debates, won the majority of straw polls, etc.
They know that if the primary election was not fixed, Ron Paul would have won.
Now they start to agree with Ron Paul.
Why would they wait until now to reach out to Ron Paul supporters?
A. They need our votes.
B. The need our money.
C. They need us to not question authority as we are now.
Well, since the presidential election will be FIXED, it is not A. It is B and C. Even if they select McCain to be president, Revolutionaries will not give any money to any Republicans. They can't have that! And they certainly don't want the people to question them too much nor hold them accountable...like we will and much more.
SO OF COURSE THEY ARE AGREEING WITH RON PAUL.
You see, they are working on a house of cards. Ron Paul blew at it and shook....so they outsed him. Yet, they need his supporters so they now step forward and give a nod to Ron Paul.

YOU CAN'T GO BY WHAT THEY SAY! YOU CAN ONLY GO BY WHAT THEY DO!
They may be giving a nod to Ron Paul as they continue to talk the conservative talk, but they since they continue to walk the liberal walk, their praises mean nothing!
GOP: Shilling for your thoughts; pandering to your hearts!
Yep, I think that's why there's that GOP site asking people for their helpful suggestions for the Republican party platform.
I brought this up before...doesn't it strike anyone as odd that, on the registration page of that GOP platform request site, they ask for your name, state, and other info, but do NOT ask:
- whether you are registered Republican
- whether you are registered to vote at all
- whether you are even eligible to vote
(not that one couldn't misrepresent himself, but, the GOP doesn't even ask these questions, which are far more salient than your name or state.)
Now ask yourself, who are the most active online people?
That's right, RP/liberty supporters, and Democrats. As a collective, Republicans seem to be far less "activist" minded (see the voter turnout between Dems vs. Reps to support that thesis).
So who is mostly answering the GOP platform survey?
Online Liberty-minded and/or Democrats who may or may not be registered or even eligible to vote, who are activist enough to take the time to submit their thoughts to the GOP.
And the GOP will do what with this information?
Make nice cue cards for their candidates to read off, thereby swaying lots of Americans to believe that they actually stand for that platform.
This is nothing more than a popularity contest. This is American Idol. They will trot out the results, listen to the cheers, collect the votes, and then go ahead and do just what they planned to do all along.
As I said before: this doesn't mean you shouldn't submit your ideas to the GOP. I do think it's important that they experience just how much ideas of liberty have permeated the public mind. I just caution (strongly) not to expect any real change (gosh, can I use that word? is it copyrighted yet?) to come of it.

the elites started dumping the bag as hard and fast as they could. stomping on it, shaking it, hiding it, lying about it, ridiculing, etc. Then the GOP took over and I feel quite certain messed with the votes allllllll over our great nation.

then you too will understand. The fiat system is a delicate balance between inflation and deflation. The FED lowers interest to combat DEFLATION and raises interest to combat INFLATION, its as simple as that.
What has the FED been doing for the last 7 years? Answer: Lowering interest rates!! remember those 0% inteest loans not too long ago?
The problem is (besides the FED system) that the interest has been too low for too long so now inflation is a problem, BUT if they raise interest, it could instantly send the economy into a DEFLATIONARY Depression because people would STOP borrowing money.
The fact is tha our economy is supported by borrowed money (dollars from banks) and dollars are supported by the worldwide sale of oil in dollars...

In my opinion, the Fed has been fighting deflation for over 8 years and it's coming to a point that they cannot do much more to prevent a deflationary collapse, therefore, they need an excuse.
It just amazes me that even regarding the recent bank run, some people were implying that this was hyper-inflationary. I know it's impolite to say this, but my honest feeling is that YOU GUYS ARE FU*KIN MORONS!

Quit being a freaking clown.
Secondly, you are right, the Fed has ALWAYS been working to ensure there is no deflationary credit collapse. That is pretty much their operating theme over time. With reserve requirements as low as 3%, there is ALWAYS a risk of total deflationary credit collapse.
At the same time, if the dollar is abandoned globally, there is always risk of a total hyperinflationary destruction of our currency unit.
Basically, we are walking a tightrope of being totally screwed.

Ron Paul signs
continue to be seen in Western Montana, with the exception of university locations. At Missoula, home of the Univ. of Montana, a liberal arts school, I saw no signs which is no big surprise. However, Ron Paul signs were frequently displayed in Whitefish, Kalispell, Polson, Ronan, etc.
I'm originally from Missoula, born (1950ish) and raised. I drove to Montana from So. California to visit family and friends. Because of so many folks who were not raised by Montana standards having relocated to Montana, and supported by a liberal university environment, "collective" reasoning is replacing an individualized perspective for freedom. Anyone wishing for more input can read the Missoulian newspaper, online, and readily extract examples of a new Montana social order that is rapidly establishing a power base, politically and economically. I will try to post specifics at a later posting, if Daily Paul readers are interested.
The fact that Ron Paul signs continue to be prominent in many areas means to me that it's not over. Yes, our quest for Constitutional freedom will always continue, and, in my mind, Ron Paul's candidacy, as well. He's the only candidate for the President of the United States who is worthy of receiving my vote.

Although, in the past my vote has been misguided, mistreated, missed the mark, misinterpreted, misrepresented, misaligned, misplaced, misdirected, mishandled, and misunderstood, if we can just get Dr. Paul in the general election, I can finally hit the mark, zero in, hit the target, hit the nail on the head, make my point, git 'er done, get some satisfaction, party down, raise a toast and celebrate.
Pleeeeaaaazzzz, let's get Dr. Paul on a ballot.

Ron Paul delivered a gem today. Dr Paul is like our rock star, he delivers music to our ears. Sometimes the music is not what "certain" people want to hear, but it's the message in the music, not the beat. And then so often as he does, Dr Paul can send an inspiring tune that everyone wants to dance to. Freedom Is Popular and Campaign For Liberty are great tunes :-)

I knew they would
see the light on the economic/monetary issues. But I must admit that i didn't think it would happen so soon. Hopefully the same folks will begin to agree on the foreign policy issues sooner than expected.
The owners of the news stations are not as afraid of Ron now
so they've called of the dogs.
However, they should be very afraid.

no kidding.... it was especially surprising to me, because I didn't know about any of these interviews.... I knew about the FED hearings today, and saw Ron Paul's statements/questions.... but then all of sudden there was this media frenzy... It seemed no matter what channel we turned to he was there!

to see that big smile on Dr. Paul. Unfortunately, I think he is being used. They know exactly what he is going to say, so they inject their propaganda with what he is saying. We are listening to Dr. Paul but views are listening to everyone especially the announcer. Like the way they do with visual props insert a dirty word in a picture with trees, that sort of thing. If you listen closely to what the others are saying key words and phases will pop out. That is the real message they want out there. I watched some video of what happened in Argentina it is the EXACT same thing as here. Peace

Congress (House of Representatives and the Senate) to do the same in attempts to cover their guilty behinds. Too late, however, because their voting records are public (knitting, knitting, for you literati). Lest we forget, the "Supremes' " voting records are available to the public, too. Oust them all, I say. No pensions, no perks. The jig is up and payback will be hellish.
I've been waiting a long time for this. It's great to see so much passion for freedom and the Constitutional Republic of the U.S. by younger generations.

one thing for sure you aren't seeing any of the other repubs that were vying for the nomination. I think it is pretty amazing to see Ron Paul in so many interviews. Who will the public remember when mccain isn't able to run? I wonder if there isn't a plan by the ptb to actually let him have the whitehouse so as to blame him for all the problems this country is facing. Then again he is so wise he might fool them and actually start fixing the messes. :-)

it is amazing to me that most people out in this world do not even connect what is happening in the economy with what Ron Paul has been saying. They simply DO NOT listen to Ron Paul. They do not know. Now, I have to admit that I don't listen to Obama, McCain, the msm, talk radio. I have pretty much pushed them out of my life and get a strong dose of Dr. Paul now. So ........
