Baldwin anti-gambling, anti-military women, pro-drug war?
How is Baldwin supposedly the most freedom candidate now when he wants to regulate internet gambling (and possibly pornography), doesn't call to end the war on drugs. Also, I was looking at his wiki page and it says when he was running for VP his campaign was very much against woman in the military because (and I quote from the old camp page):
"It is the God-commanded order that men are to fight for and protect
women and their country. Women are not to fight for and protect men and
their country. If I'm elected President, I will do everything within my
power to see that women do not serve in the Armed Forces --- at all,
anywhere, period."
Uh...but what about individual rights? Why whould the Bible decide who serves in the military?
Chuck Baldwin also supported the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 (UIGEA). Ron Paul opposed this act and has cosponsored two pieces of legislation in opposition to it - H.R. 2046 and H.R. 5767. Why is Baldwin so forceful?
And now why is he against the war on drugs? Baldwin says we need to “rethink” the war on drugs, but he hasn’t advocated ending it. Instead he suggests sealing the border as the solution to our perceived drug problems. He hasn’t advocated freeing all non-violent drug offenders either. These are not in line with Ron Paul. He has however, suggested that medicinal marijuana use be best regulated by the states
So, why do people insist on voting for Baldwin? Because his party name is Constitutionalist? It seems to me if he was President he would try to force his beliefs on us. Like somehow he knows "better" than us and wants to "protect" us from these unbiblical things. So why is it that people support Baldwin when he seems to be very anti-liberty on some important issues.

I disagree with him on gambling and drugs, but I'd vote for him.
That is to say, I'd vote for him again. I was proud to write in Baldwin's name for President not too long ago.

Well he has an interesting
Well he has an interesting way of seeing things and I personally find it hard to agree with all his ideas... For the sake of his politician image he agrees with drug war initiatives, too bad that all these actions are not as effective as we need them to be.

There is little net
There is little net difference between Baldwin and Barr, as far as the unlibertarian streaks they both share. The difference is that Baldwin has the additional theocratic streak.
Anyway, I'll be writing in Ron Paul and bracing myself for Obama.

in September! now if Paul says vote for barr I Will! If Paul says vote for Baldwin I will... will the barr folks here who just can't live without gambling , porn etc vote for Baldwin if Ron gives him the endorsement? or are they going to vote for Barr?
as for me and my home, we shall worship the LORD
Well,
personally, I'm not in favor of women in combat duty. And the Fed Gov does have oversight of the military. And the military is not a democracy. I see that whole issue as some "political correctness" football. Since I'm not much for PC, I don't fall for that crap. Women have plenty of valid roles in the Armed Forces if they want to be in them.
From what I've seen from Baldwin, he's not for a drug war.
And as far as the gambling thing, I'm probably in disagreement about that, but I really couldn't give a crap about it, myself. There's a helluva lot of bigger fish to fry than worrying about whether somebody throws their money away on internet gambling.
None of these questions about Baldwin's positions are of any major bother to me.

So, if you don't partake in an activity, you're not bothered if it's restricted or banned.
Don't worry. The government's working hard. I'm sure they'll legislate against something you enjoy soon enough.

I assume
you are referring to the gambling issue, about which I stated that I disagree with Baldwin on in principle.
And yes, I do still disagree in principle with that position.
And the obvious question would be "Will that issue outweigh the other things that I do agree with him on?"
The answer to that is no.
And as a voter, I'm entitled to my opinion and my vote.
If Dr. Paul is not an option for voting, come November's ballot, then Chuck Baldwin will get my vote.
If you want to bring up vp
If you want to bring up vp candidates, lets talk about Barrs vp.
Actually regarding women in
Actually regarding women in the military and gambling laws, I don't agree with Baldwin, but neither do I see it as a big deal, because Baldwin's position on most issues is state's rights.
Compared to constitution-destroying warmongers and an encroaching police state, my conscience does not have any problems with voting for a man who is what I'd consider 'less than perfect' on fringe social issues.
It's not as if he voted for the Patriot Act, or something...

my president Ron Paul doesn't endorse Baldwin -

If you read my post, you
If you read my post, you would understand Baldwin was the VP for Peroutka.......if Baldwin didn't agree with him, why would he say yes to VP position? Seems awfully suspicious to me!
And let me say ONCE AGAIN, I have NOT mentioned Bob Barr ONCE AT ALL IN THIS WHOLE TOPIC! YOU are the one who keeps bringing up Bob Barr. My questions and topic are solely about Chuck Baldwin, not about Bob Barr, so please stop talking about Bob Barr already. I do not care about him.
Second, the second link was only linked because it provides information about Baldwin's stance on certain issues. What the hell does it matter what website it is from, if the information listed is all true? I don't give a damn if Bob Barr's score is equal to Chuck Baldwin's. I never once mentioned Bob Barr. Never. Ever. Never ever.
The third link was only provided because in the comments section (like I said, if you actually read my post) there are people providing evidence that shows how Baldwin supports the Unlawful Gambling Act, an act Ron Paul hates and has co-sponsored 2 bills to get rid of it.
I'm NOT going around trying to spread dis-info (wtf is a dis-info agent, you really think I'm some "agent"?), I'M ASKING PERFECTLY LEGITIMATE QUESTIONS WHICH APPARENLTY NO ONE CAN ANSWER WITHOUT INSULTING ME.

What are you talking about?
These are PERFECTLY LEGITIMATE questions relating to Baldwin. It is quite clear you did not even read the post. You say I'm trying to convice you to vote for someone else? Where did I say anything about another candidate? My topic is ABOUT BALDWIN AND ABOUT BALDWIN ONLY! No where did I try to convice you to vote for someone else, all I did was ask questions about Chuck Baldwin's anti-liberty stances. Please read the post.
I appreciate people researching candidates
and then posting the info here. Yes, even if it is negative.
I don't have time to do it myself...
BALDWIN, BARR I WANT MEDIA COVERAGE!!
I understand that Baldwin is far from the perfect candidate, as is Barr, and I can definitely deal with that because perfect candidates are so very rare. I just wish that Baldwin would introduce himself to the American people. I support Baldwin, and I want to watch him on the MSM news outlets. But it disappoints me he hasn't made one MSM appearance. He is not spreading the message as effectively as he could, and that's my biggest concern about Chuck Baldwin.
Support both Baldwin and Barr! They are not the enemies!
Seems to me Baldwin IS an
Seems to me Baldwin IS an enemy of liberty and wants to enforce the Bible's law on us. It seems I'm not the only one who gets that vibe from him either.

Okay
posted the sources.
Baldwin's against the
Baldwin's against the federal war on drugs, and he believes medicinal marijuana is a state's rights issue. When you say "he hasn’t advocated freeing all non-violent drug offenders either", are you saying he has said 'no' to that concept, or that has he not gotten around to addressing it?

Where has he said he's
Where has he said he's against federal war on drugs? Everywhere I look it says he wants to secure borders to stop them from coming in.
And you ask if he has not addressed it, I have not found anywhere where he has addressed the issue (of releasing non-violent offenders) Am I supposed to assume he is for that, without him ever mentioning it? That doesn't make sense.
And what about hte other issues I brought up? Not just drugs.
What Baldwin has actually
What Baldwin has actually said is that he objects to the suppression of civil liberties and constitutional abuses in the War on Drugs. He objects to the manner in which the Drug War is waged, and he objects to the fact that it "drags on". Not a scathing rebuttal of the drug war concept, but he's taking a much firmer stand on it than most politicians.
