That is a good question. Let's go about answering it. I assume, as most people do when they make such a claim that they have a "right" to post whatever they want on my website, the Daily Paul, that you are referring to their First Amendment right. Let's examine this. The First Amendment states:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
You should note immediately that the First Amendment applies to Congress. As for me, I'm just some dude with a blog. So yes, I deleted your thread, because I judged it to be irrelevant to the tone and mission of my website. Not only was it irrelevant, there were a bunch of strange characters in your title which defaced the design of my site, and was just plain ugly. It was distracting. As a result, I exercised my right, as a private citizen and owner of private property, to delete your thread.
To your question: Where are your rights? Your natural rights come from God. The Constitution is a document that enumerates certain rights, and aims to protect these rights by limiting the power of government.
You have the right to ask the question, "GOD vs Satan who would win?" if you so desire. You just don't have the right to do it here. Posting here is a privilege, not a right. However, there are plenty of other places online and off where you can ask this question, and engage in this discussion. You might begin on a local street corner. You could make sandwich boards, walk around with a megaphone and pass out literature, as many people do. The government will not bother you.
Otherwise you could go to the many free and (relatively) uncensored sites, like Yahoo, or Craigslist. The internet is a big place my friend, and there is room for you somewhere. In fact, you could even start your own blog for free. Try blogger.com. You can have a blog up in minutes.
Once you have your own blog, I think you'll understand a little better how annoying it is when people come by to muckrack and distract from the mission that you're trying so hard to achieve.

I also enjoy having friends over to my house. If someone were to begin saying things that offended other guests however, I would be a poor hostess to not ask him/her to cease the behaviour. Infospill is one of us and started a thread that was noticed. He's still one of us. I am every bit as guilty as he is for posting divisive/off topic comments over the duration Ive been at DP. It could have easily been one of MY comments that was adressed by Micheal. Id like to think that Infospill has a better understanding of freedom of speech after all of this and we can let the thread die. I want to thank you for keeping this site up and running. I know I've posted some info. that is a little over the top, but I do try to make sure what I post is true. I agree that people should have the right of religion, and also the right from it. Hal Turner is just a trouble maker. But, he did interview
Larry Sinclair. If what this man said is true, which is questionable, then it just shows how perverse our choices for president really are. I think almost everyone here would like to see Ron Paul elected as our President. I just don't know what else we could do to get him in the White House. Boundaries are what imply meaning. Yet there seems to be this idea in your head that "freedom" knows no bounds. With the grace of a tap dancing walrus, you've managed to blow past the fact of that matter, that being that words represent ideas and that ideas, while intangible physically, effect the world and the people within it. You rant and rave that people are stomping on your freedom of speech, neglecting the idea that without Mr. Nystrom's gracing this corner of the internet, you would have no ability to speak here.
He has set a forum with a code of conduct accepted by all the members. You agreed to follow that code of conduct and were made aware of all the rules when you joined this site. Unless you didn't read the rules, which would be unspeakably rude, but who cares, you've got half formed ideas and a hatred of the catholic church to spew!
No one cares about your vendetta for or against religion. These are all topics which have been argued time and again, and they're all issues which are debated currently on forums other than this one. Having read Michael's terms and conditions of use here, you decided straight away that, "Rules and regulations be damned! Social constructs be damned! I have a right to be heard even if I'm spewing nonsense! Who cares that my ideas are half formed, that limit implies boundary which implies form and function, I've got vague references to the FCC and a preponderance for pounding on the question mark key!"
Why give words a limit? I'm assuming this is a typo, as words aren't "given" limits, they contain limits based on socially contracted usage. I'm assuming you meant, "Why limit the words I can use?" In which case I'd say, "Because you're rude and hellbent on causing grief to other people based on a subject which you obviously feel very passionately about."
Know what we need limits on? The number of question marks in a given sentence.
A "freedom of speech society" which you rant and rave about like it's some new fangled toaster, is not a Utopian environment in which you can say whatever you want, because no matter how you strike it, words have meaning, and meaning will propel action.
It's been explained to you exactly in numerous ways why the topic is off limits here. It obviously isn't because people are afraid of addressing it. The reason is because it's distracting and rude. If you host a party, and a number of guests come to which you've said, "Welcome, make yourselves at home. Help yourself to my beer and furniture, let me introduce you to some people. Please make sure however that you read the rules, as I don't allow shoes in my house." It is then not socially acceptable to don your mud trompers and do a ballet on the kitchen table. No matter how you slice your "right to dance" into sentences involving scary people censoring you and telling you what you can't do in their house, you still can't dance here with your shoes on.

My first point that you keep missing is that it's pretty hard to argue with someone about the value and meaning of language when one party obviously doesn't understand, appreciate, nor respect the true value of words and their meanings.
My second point was: Quit whining about religion. I am not paid by the hour, neither is anyone on this forum. We are not a substitute for a good therapist.
I'll make my third point clearer as well, though it links with the first. People like you, who cry about other people being offended by their words refuse to admit the meaning and value of actual language. Would you deny that words can be as painful as physical blows? Can you not wreck a man's mind with words as well as a body? Can you understand that words are a force as well?

It's not that you're suppressing information guy, it's that you're an overflowing fountain of dubious, colored, useless, and most of the time grammatically incorrect babble. Sometimes suppression is needed to keep the overflow to a level at which the brain can absorb it. Please see the organization of your previous post for an example as to what not to do. I recommend researching "chunking" for looking at what amounts of information people are best able to understand in what formats.

I never mentioned, by the way, "full fledged Christians supporting Paul." I mentioned Dr. Paul himself, who is a full fledged Christian. His doctrines are derived very seriously from his faith and flawless nature as a human being. Just war, minding your own business, personal responsibility for charity; these are all core Christian values. Whether or not they're followed by this church or another are of no consequence. The idea that government should stay out of the church, and the church should stay out of the government, that's another form of a Christian value as far as I can tell. Keeping government out of "the church" keeps the religion uninfluenced by government, as it should be, and it leads how it should, "by example."

Oh good, the old "diversity for diversity's sake" line. I'm assuming you haven't attended college yet, you'll get plenty of that there. I'm sure after the fact, you'll see why it isn't true. As a preview however, understand that time in life is a limited factor, and that you'll only be able to talk about so many subjects. With just HOW MUCH there is to learn out there, you CAN'T talk about everything, and therefore must pick and choose. If you sincerely love life, you'll choose very carefully.

I really don't know how to make this any clearer for you. I've tried in about 5 posts to explain to you the absurdity of your argument. Can you not see the irony in defending your right to use language as you see fit when all the while you're completely debasing your arguments with your complete disrespect of the language? Is English your first language? Maybe I'm being insensitive here, maybe you're from another country and just recently learned the language. If this is the case, I sincerely apologize, and I'll try to quit using complex words for you.

If you're going to complain about my not answering your questions, you could at least attempt to make full sentences and form actual paragraphs. You keep whining again about me picking on your spelling, but you're trying to argue that language is so important that no limits should be placed on it by the government. You forget to ask what it would do to language to remove all the rules placed on it. You forget that language is a system of rules designed to form our otherwise meaningless grunts and howls into a complex system of ideas. Your disrespect for "rules" and "boundaries" is completely out of place in any thinking society. You do all of this meanwhile slandering the exact language you're pretending to care so deeply about your ability to use.

You say that your awful command of the language doesn't throw out your arguments. Your arguments have already gone out, though they left sometime after you insulted your credibility. Credibility left long before, I can assure you.
I'll take a gentleman's pass at the accusation that I have a weak mind. However, I will point out that the point is being made by a man who types HOAR in capital letters and then expects the rest of the world to sound it out to figure out what word he means.
Religion is not something that is forced on you. Religion is that which you take unto yourself as a code of values for behavior. I'll assume that your torrid use of language stems from a lacking of reading and that you haven't actually researched many of the religions of the world.
You seem to not understand Dr. Paul being a Christian. For some reason, I'm going to just assume here that you've got a figurative axe to grind, and your inability to accept Dr. Paul as a Christian is due to mental trauma. Again, see a therapist if you really need to.

I'm sure that's JUST what he was thinking when he joined the church. Either that, or you're making some insulting accusation that he joined the church just so he could get elected. Then you say that he doesn't say what he wants because he doesn't think he'd be electable. Maybe this is sarcasm. Have you really seen Dr. Paul? Have you heard him? Does he really seem like some conniving schemer avoiding his real ideas? The man isn't a front man, he isn't what you want him to be, he is what he IS.
No one has claimed that they want the Bible as a rule of law. It's part of religion and is therefore separated from the government of men of this country. Some of the rules are the same, but one is not based on the other. Paul may not approve of gay marriage, or abortion, or selling your body; but he knows that's the place more of morals than government. He ESPECIALLY knows it's not the place of the federal government.
I'll point out btw, Mary Magdalene being a prostitute, and Jesus not having any qualms about hanging with her.
Your questions are answered, and it's in no way shape or form my intention to go around approving or disproving of Paul's behavior or comparing it to biblical text. Neither is it yours. If you'd like to ask questions like that of him, try it next time you see him in person. I'm sure he won't be insulted, really.
