Propaganda: Obama vs Mccain on taxes, see my answer: was it appropriate?

I received the following email today from a friend asking me What are my thoughts on the message below he received from somebody:

Future Taxes
This is not idle chatter, but actual facts from the campaign speeches of our 2 Presidential candidates. When put into print, it becomes more of a reality...not just idle campaign blabbering.

Proposed Changes In Taxes After 2008 General Election:
CAPITAL GAINS TAX

MCCAIN
15% (no change)

OBAMA
28% (13% increase)

How does this affect you? If you sell your home and make a profit, you
will pay 28% of your gain on taxes. If you are heading toward retirement

and would like to down-size your home or move into a retirement
community, 28% of the money you make from your home will go to taxes. If you have outgrown your current home and wish to move up beware- not only will you pay 28% on the profit from your current home's sale (thus reducing avaiable capital for a future down payment or investments),
but Obama is also propsing a NEW tax on homes larger than 2400 square feet. This proposal will also adversely affect the elderly who are counting on the income from their homes as part of their retirement
income.
DIVIDEND TAX
MCCAIN

OBAMA
39.6% (24.6% increase)

How will this affect you? If you have any money invested in stock
market, IRA, mutual funds, college funds, life insurance, retirement
accounts, or anything that pays or reinvests dividends, you will now be
paying nearly 40% of the money earned on taxes if Obama becomes
president.
The experts predict that 'Higher tax rates on dividends and capital
gains would crash the stock market yet do absolutely nothing to cut the

deficit.'

INCOME TAX

MCCAIN (no changes)
Single making 30K - tax $4,500
Single making 50K - tax $12,500
Single making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 60K- tax $9,000
Married making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 125K - tax $31,250

OBAMA
Single making 30K - tax $8,400 ($3900increase making the net pay before any other expenses like health care contributions, retirement accounts, etc $21,600.00 - welcome to the welfare nation if this gets enacted.)
Single making 50K - tax $14,000
Single making 75K - tax $23,250
Married making 60K - tax $16,800 ($7800 increase. Can anyone explain how these increases are the rich 'paying proportionally more taxes' so as not to encumber an already struggling lower middle class?
Thank God I'm not in the 30K dilemma.)

Married making 125K - tax $38,750

INHERITANCE TAX

MCCAIN 0%(Go McCain! Why should your heirs have to

pay taxes to inherit your assests you've already paid taxes on
throughout your lifetime?

OBAMA
Keep the inheritance tax

How does this affect you? Many families have lost businesses, farms and
ranches, and homes that have been in their families for generations
because they could not afford the inheritance tax. Those willing their
assets to loved ones will only lose a goodly portion - or perhaps ALL-
of them to these taxes.

NEW TAXES BEING PROPOSED BY OBAMA

* New government taxes proposed on homes that are more than 2400 sq.
feet - if the Federal Givernment starts taxing based on the size of your

home what do you think will happen to your state property taxes?

* New gasoline taxes (as if gas weren't high enough already)

* New taxes on natural resources consumption (heating gas, water,
electricity)

* New taxes on retirement accounts, and last but not least....

* New taxes to pay for socialized medicine so we can receive the same
level of medical care as other third-world countries!!!

Think before you vote this year... this election could change your life
- forever.

Granted these are just 'proposed changes', but if we elect aDemocractic

President with a Democractic Congress sitting you can bet your last
paycheck that Obama will get these 'proposed changes' pushed through.
Can YOU afford to elect him? And are we finally finding out what all the

'change' rhetoric is really about? Very scary stuff if you own ahome,
work or plan on trading up/downsizing, or retiring in the next 20 - 30
years...............

If not, remember at this stage of the game every (wasted) vote for Ron
Paul this November is essentially a vote for Barack Obama because it's
one less vote for John McCain. Don't waste your vote or your MONEY. It's

your future - don't give it away.

I think this is only a propagandist email sent by a McInsane supporter or the desperate campaign itself!

What the writer of this email is trying to achieve is to trick us on concentrating on the taxes when taking into consideration for whom to vote comes the general elections!

Obviously, none of the Both, Mr Mccain nor Mr Obama are good on taxes or on any other issue that is important to the people of this country and it’s not now that they will change from politicians to men of character who will keep their word! All they want is getting elected: they will say whatever the Sheeple want to hear to achieve their goals!

What they are not telling you is that they will not do anything about the highest tax that we are subject to: The inflation tax which is hunting us the most, this is the tax applied by the federal reserve, if you are interested in knowing more just Google any: Ron Paul money supply increase inflation tax federal reserve …. etc

They will continue to bailout their friends and do whatever is asked from them by the ones who put them in power: NOT THE PEOPLE BUT THE SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS!

If you go to youtube, you’ll find videos of congress hearing where Ron Paul is grilling Mr. Bernanke and Mr. Paulson. Dr. Ron Paul told Mr. Bernanke on Wednesday: “You sir, are the biggest taxer in this country, you are probably even a bigger taxer than congress” (Inflation is a TAX, even Bernanke had to concede it to Dr. Ron Paul)

If you are aware of the bailouts of the banks, which is a TAX that you and me, our children and grandchildren will pay to bailout a bunch of crooks who failed to do their work properly, betrayed their clients and broke the law, then you get it!

As for: Every vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Obama, this just tells us how scared the GOP party bosses are afraid of the Ron Paul movement.

Their “presumptive” nominee that they and the mainstream media choose upon us and not the People of this country, Mr. Mclame, isn’t able to rally the masses, he has no message to deliver, he has no plan on how to get this Republic back to work, get us out of foreign entanglements and strength our economy, he will be only a third legacy of Mr. Bush: More warmongering, more waist of American treasury and blood, a NWO, a NAU, a war with Iran, the death of the green back, more tyranny and the lost of our freedom: The end of the Republic!

Mr. Obama is no better, he is just another puppet with an empty “Message of Change” with no plans! A flip flopper and opportunist, more of the same! Seriously, what can you expect from a Lawyer? Didn’t he already betrayed his supporters on the FISA program? Do you get it?

The both are no man of character: We don’t need a warmonger or a lawyer in Washington, we need people who talk the talk and walk the walk, people like Congressman Ron Paul, a man who is fighting restless since more than 30 years for your rights, a man who is warning us since more than 30 years about the consequences of this monetary policy, the bubble it creates, the special interests, the foreign entanglements, ….. Did you listen? Did you vote for him?

Remember, voting for the less EVIL is still EVIL: I prefer to vote my conscience instead of following the flow and be just another sheep in the herd!
