Jesse Kicks ass

He is one of the most well spoken people on TV. He speaks slow, and people assume he is dumb...but if you listen to him for a couple of minutes...every answer he has is well thought out, and articulate, and he can never be tricked into some B.S. reporting, or be lead down the wrong path in a conversation...he always stops them and lets them have it!

I found myself fantasizing about JV tearing Brian Kilmeades'

head off.
I hate that guy...

Interview here:

omg... Listen the very last

omg... Listen the very last exchange where sphincter boy leads the speculation. Sphincter loads a statement about Paul running Independent ticket coupled with taking Jessie, promotes his book, time runs out, Jessie has no time to reply, so all he can do laugh at sphincter boy.

Ballot Access

Unless Ron Paul has secretly been gathering and submitting hundreds of thousands of signatures nationwide, he won't be able to run as an Independent at this late stage.

Now maybe....just maybe Ron wisely hired Steve Jobs to manage a top secret ballot access campaign that has been working in the shadows the last four months, and perhaps on Sept. 2, Ron Paul will, at the conclusion of the rally, announce "one more thing....I'm running for President as an Independent!"

{Then the Williams Arena and all buildings within a five mile radius collapse as the applause causes an earthquake the likes of which has never been seen.)

Very unlikely

because none of us have signed anything. If it needs to be done, let's do it.

Unlikely, of course, since

Unlikely, of course, since every TV interviewer asks Paul if he's planning to run Independent or Third Party, and every time he says 'no'.

In case the tone of my post was not clear

I was being entirely 150% sarcastic.

I just hinted that Steve Jobs--the only man who could pull of keeping something this huge a complete secret for months--is managing a top secret ballot access campaign. Quick, someone spread the word, Ron Paul is running third party!!!! I just hinted at it!

Ventura dumb as a rock? Ya

Ventura dumb as a rock? Ya right buddy. I've listened to this guy for years, and he lays everything out in a logical and easy-to-understand manner. He has lots of real-world experience, a great and powerful presence, and a very thorough understanding of the Constitution and corruption that goes on in America.

Seems like the only one dumb as a rock is you mate.

Ohhh,

so maybe Jesse Ventura said no to the senate because he needs to kill a little time until September and see if the GOP wakes their stupid up. If they don't, in rides the cavalry. That would do my heart soooo much good. I can hear the bugles blowing now.

Ventura is the man.

I know I do not agree with 100% of what he says, but I would trust him to not sell our country down the river. Here is another man who really loves his country and it's people. Paul/Ventura 2008!

Aku Soku Zan

I never said ...

the information was true. However, given the leaks to ABC just before Dr. Paul scaled down, then suspended his campaign, it's hard to say what is a leak, what is misinformation and what is simply mindless banter.

Those people have not idea.

Those people have not idea.

Which people?

The people interviewing?
The people being interviewed?
The people commenting?
What is "not idea"?

Well, that's it then!

Fox and Friends only hires wise, experienced political people...

Ron Paul will never

run on a ticket with Ventura. RP tried distancing himself from the 9/11 truthers and this ticket would put him side by side with one. It would NEVER happen

At least Ventura had the balls to openly question it.

Yeah, I said it..

Ron Paul takes that stance

Ron Paul takes that stance because he's a very nice man without a trace of cynicism in him.

I'm not that nice, personally. I have to question the official lies.

Are you saying Dr. Paul

suspected 9/11 was an inside job but just didn't have the balls to indicate it openly?

That's really insulting. Has it not occured to you that Dr. Paul simply was not a 9/11 truther? Dr. Paul has to balls to say whatever is on his mind. How dare you.

Ron Paul

has called for a new investigation into 9/11
that's a first step in getting criminals cought in the first place.

Do you have any proof

that Paul as "called for a new investigation into 9/11"?

I've been following him for a long time and have never seen him call for such a thing. I've seen him say he wouldn't be opposed to one if someone else where to call for one, when someone asked him about it, but that's as far as I've seen him go.

Ron Paul also called the

Ron Paul also called the omission of WTC-7 from the 9-11 Commission report "very suspicious".

And you're reading into

that, what?

And do you have proof that he said this?

Don't have to read anything into it

when it hits you over the head. It is what it is. Suspicious.

Ron Paul said that in a

Ron Paul said that in a radio interview.

I think you're miscommunicating

the content and intent of his comment.

He might have said that he thought the report was incomplete or something like that, and maybe mentioned building 7 in response to a question from a caller to appease him, but I doubt it was much more than that.

Paul has already said that he thinks the government did NOT bring down buulding 7 in a Beck interview.

Nevertheless, he did say

Nevertheless, he did say "very suspicious". If I run across the link I'll let you know...I believe it was on the Alex Jones Show.

yes

I remember that too! it was on AJ show
but he also said something like that on coast to coast radio show.

Good call Kevin...

I didn't even click on his name and see that he was less than 2 hours old.
Notice he always shifts the argument into an attack on Dr. Paul. And then when he/she/it is beat he holds RP up as a shield.
Thanks for raising the flag on this turd,BillyDee. Saved me some keystrokes.

hahaha LOL!

thank you guys for making me aware of this guy being here registered 3 hours ago.
I am going for a beer
had nothing yesterday and today and my brain needs some minerals.
Cheers!

Does anyone else not like Ventura?

I think the Fox commentator just said that comment about Paul without any real thought, and just said it to say it.

About Ventura, I just don't think he's that particularly intelligent, and he at times comes off as a goon? Does anyone else agree?

I totally agree.

He's a candidate for the average Joe Sixpack who doesn't understand much about political philosophy but likes candidates who gives the impression that they're fighting "the system." Dr. Paul had some of that appeal, but at the same time attracted intelligent people to his campaign. It's doubtful that Ventura attracts an educated audience.

NEWSFLASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who do you think we are trying to attract?
The rest of the dumbed down 90% of the voting population.
Who do you two Einsteins think is the best choice for doing this?

The Bob Barr-bots detest

The Bob Barr-bots detest truthers because Barr is ex-CIA. I guess they assume that Barr supports the official story.

Why not attract both?

Now that Paul is out, Barr is the best choice for doing this. Barr actually may be better than Paul at getting the average Joe since his speaking is much smoother and easy to understand.

Ron Paul is a conservative. Paul supporters apparently cared what National Review had to say when they wrote good things about Dr. Paul.

No it's not

It's not neoconservative. It's paleoconservative.

National Review paleoconservative?????

In what era? It used to be a traditionalist conservative magazine, but has evolved into a neocon rag.

Ron Paul and Pat Buchanan are paleo-conservatives. The American Conservative magazine is paleoconservative ("old right") in that tradition.

yea!!!! what he said! NEO

yea!!!! what he said! NEO CON TRASH BUDDY!!!!

true. true.

It isn't doable.

The ballot access window is 90% closed. Many states like Texas had a deadline in May, many others in June. Most have expired by now. If he was going to run Independent, he would have declared back before he suspended his campaign and started the CFL.

The only way Dr. Paul could run successfully now, off the GOP ticket, would be if he ran with Chuck Baldwin.

SUPPORT OUR FOUNDERS' AMERICA

What about this? Could this

What about this? Could this work? Ron Paul has his separate convention on September 2nd. A million people show up, thus giving Ron Paul lots of media attention enabling him to spread his message to the uninformed who are suffering in the economic free fall. The Bush impeachment is gathering momentum and the smoking gun of torture at Abu Ghraib have all come together to form a people united against the status quo republican and democratic parties.

Could Ron Paul become the constitution party Presidential nominee with Chuck Baldwin as VP? Is that allowed? Is it too late? What about Darrel Castle? What about RP's congressional bid?

I think Ron Paul could still

I think Ron Paul could still run with Baldwin or Barr if he wanted.
