If Paul makes an endorsement, are we going to unite?

I don't think Ron Paul will endorse any candidate,and I will vote for Ron Paul regardless of any candidate he endorses.Even though the message he brought is what we want to see in action in our Government,I don't see that reflected in any other candidate that can pull as many or more votes than Dr. Paul......I won't vote elswhere.

what I think he should do - if he does not get the nomination or any concession -
is to root for Baldwin, Barr and perhaps Nader (on foreign policy), but endorse none and encourage not to vote for McBama. One look at the total of the votes of the two or three then. If he does endorse any third party, he would be reduced to a junior congressmen and cannot ask Bernanke etc. on the banking commission, so what use would that be then to be stripped of his power?

Let the idiots who bash Barr all day vote for Baldwin. Let everyone else vote for Barr, or McCain or Obama or Nader or McKinney

Forget the unity. The Barr haters who are very small in numbers will never vote for him. Fine let them be. They can post all they want.

They should be posting negative things about McCain and Obama.

Ron Paul will be your next President

This is the Daily Paul. Time is short and this is getting tiresome.

We had accepted Ron Paul's offer of leadership. For me that started when I began to campaign for him- why wait for his election? If he were to "lead" me to vote for another candidate by endorsing one - I would. I really have a hard time seeing him do that though. I personally see him leading me to the Constitution and challenging me to vote my conscience for the candidate who alligns himself with its precepts. We'd be lucky if he even were to say who HE is voting for. He'd likely cause us to assume that by his own standards he'd cast his his own vote for Baldwin. He may choose to play the "its a private decision" card and pass up on the immediate benefits of an endorsement for the big picture- if that makes any sense. But this is all speculation- theres still time on the clock and Im holding out hope that dvds4delegates will be our buzzer-beater play.

Which tells me that we are to keep gaining delegates and work for a brokered convention... that is my take on his speech....

Ron Paul, and I raised them, and am proud of them. I need to underscore their decision by doing the same. We believe that God rewards righteous voting that is done by faith, not necessarily votes that "count".

I had never voted Republican, donated to a political party/campaign, attended a state convention, put myself on a ballot for committeeman, or made plans to be anywhere near the national convention, until Ron Paul asked.
Call me a Paul-bot if you want, but I will write in Mickey Mouse if the good doctor requests it.
There is no one like Ron except for perhaps Rand and he's not running either.

To tell you the truth, it was the man as much as the message for me. Ron Paul has a unique integrity that I had never seen in a politician before. I worked my butt off and sacrificed in many ways on his behalf. I never did that for any politician before, and I probably never will again.

No, Ron Paul isn't a god. But, I trust him. He could represent ANY party and I'd vote for him just because I respect his character that much.

Since discovering Ron Paul - it was his message that got me excited
and desirous to support him as a candidate in every way I could.
So, the only guy I can vote for that carries the major message that are
the issues of greatest importance for us in this election - Chuck Baldwin.
If RP endorses him, cool - that would make most sense to me -
if he endorses someone else ... I would still vote for Baldwin (because of
the Consitution / Freedom Message - AND bringing troops home and
not going into unjust wars and policing other nations.
There you have it - vote for principle!

hopefully whatever all Ron Paul supporters will do - will be to not vote for McBama - rather
3rd Party Votes - Protest Votes -

Sure whatever Ill vote for whoever Ron Paul tells me. Its not about a vote, a Barr, a Baldwin. Its about the message. Plus I think I'll hedge my bets with the man himself and wait till September comes and you hoofs are left holding the bag when he doesn't endorse anyone an we see him crush Stainer's in September. What an announcement that will be. Vote for Barr=Vote for the patriot act. Vote Ron Paul=Vote for the constitution,freedom,individuality,privacy,state over federal,No IRS,CIA. The list could go on and on and on. Its Heaven and hell.

the answer is a big fat "NOPE" because regardless of what Dr. Paul says, even though he endorses him, which I doubt he would, I can think on my own and my convictions are that the person I want in the White House is someone with Ron Paul's record.... No flip/floppers.... I couldve voted for Romney if I wanted a flip flopper!

The 3 voters in this house will never vote Barr.Ron Paul has always encouraged us to use our own brains, & though we still yearn for him as our next president, we will vote our consciences (if our votes cannot count for him), which means no Barr for us.

This is the United States of America. You are free to vote for whom you choose, after careful deliberation on your part. A Ron Paul endorsement may weigh into that decision, but the ultimate choice is your responsibility.

Dr. Paul's judgment doesn't mean much to some people...and the Revolution will not unite is the consensus thus far? Should Ron even make an endorsement then?

I am very curious who he will pick, if he makes an endorsement at all. He may not. I've always made up my own mind, and for decades that has meant that I voted my conscience and voted for some fine LP candidades. Probably no different this time, though I would have preferred Ruwart. I really don't think I can vote for Pastor Baldwin because of the party's strong religious shadows.
