Foreplay and then the sex (Barr), or straight to sex(Baldwin)?

This is a quirky and quick analysis (haha) but, there is not one absolute path this movement could take to gain momentum, but rather many...
Barr supporters generally want to use the foreplay idea to get the sheep warmed up to the ideas of limited government and individual rights, and then in the future go for the bang with a more libertine candidate which they would be then more apt to support, like a Dr. Paul.
The Baldwin supporters believe they should go straight to the sex in trying to get the sheep supportive and aware now in a more rigid and un-lubricated state while skipping the warming up of foreplay where the sheep get use to and comfortable with the ideas of liberty and have to be ready to go now.
What are the drawbacks to each route, and how could one more fully illustrate my general idea?

What this means to me is no one faction stands any chance of gaining any significant momentum without all factions gaining equally significant momentum.
To put it into terms you can understand. I suppose I'd have to say that the system needs a good gang-bang as opposed to taking turns.

Or another route you could go is to not wear a condom, hope for the best and continue voting for either R's and D's. In that case you'll catch gonorrhea in the long run.
