Is Dobson receviing pressure? Are some of his old fair-weathered buddies calling in old favors? Does threatening religous groups of an IRS audit change people's minds? Something is going on.

a business man. He's being corrupted, just as Pat Robertson was. Don't follow him down the path of iniquity.
He should support Ron Paul's
right to life amendment. The GOP has had a presidential and congressional and senatorial majority for 6 years, plus there a few pro-lifers among the Democrats (just as there are pro-choice people in the GOP), and they could easily have gotten a majority and pass anti-abortion legislation, but did not. Yet Dobson want to trust them again? He should be ashamed of himself!

one loses a lot of respect for Dr. Dobson. He is supposed to be a man of his word. He is only undermining his own influence.
So he is against the war on preborn lives, but for postborn murder on innocent Iraqi's and for the prosecution of Iraqi christians? How can a christian leader "endorse" a politician? He/she should only "endorse" the word of God, not the words of man. And how pro-family is it when US soldiers are dying or injured for life in war? It destroys family life!
They can perhaps root for a politician's views, but not endorse. He should check out Dr. Lawrence Vance's works and writings.
In Dr. Paul they have the perfect combination of being pro-life for both the pre and post-born. Dr. Paul should have received a substantial amount of the "religious right" votes, and may well have won the primaries already. Dobson is now only making himself the laughing stock of the media.
There are ways
to use the Bible to support war. That's the beauty of the Holy Bible, you can always find a way to use it to support just damn near any position on any subject...
If you take
a Bible passage out of context, you can "justify" about anything. It does not work so, you have to consider the context. You can justify a war as retaliation, but never as initiation of force or so called pre-emptive war.

and yet thousands of church leaders in have done just that. Its a matter of how one interprets the bible. You interpret it as never, and others interpret it as so, and thousands upon thousands of the congregation agreed with their church leaders. Its more a matter of what you WANT to believe, and the Bible will support what you WANT to believe. the Bible supported the Crusades, the Inquisitions, and burning witches, to name a few. I don't see why it cannot support a pre-emptive war.

So many church leaders are reprobate. They are suppose to teach the flock the hope we have in The Word, the regeneration of the entire creation, but they don't. They, like politicians, have private agendas. But we sheep follow them just like we do the politicians. When "the Church" or "the State" becomes salvationistic, they war against Liberty. They are evil Siamese twins that don't have any interest in truth and therefore no "justice for all." God's people are predictable, Ron Paul. Unpredictable people are crazy. Predictable people are disciplined, responsible and free because they stand under The Standard. This is The Standard of prefect law that rules actions and thoughts. The prefect law of liberty was given at Mount Sinai. When the Church returns, along with the judges, politicians and people, to Liberty's Dictator then we will be free indeed.

they are voting "Against" and not "For" - they don't want that other guy
in there - and rather than vote for principle and really try to do something
to turn things around politically - it is easier to flip flop ...very pathetic -

they had two chances to vote for personal liberty and freedom and make
a difference and help spread the word for both RP and CB.

he also has a "fruitcake interpretation" of the Bible, just like he is accusing Obama to be. He was/is for the unjustified and immoral war. As a chrsitian who has also studied Theology, I am very ashamed of such people, they are not setting any good example to others and cause other christians to doubt. One should rather focus on trust in God than trust in men.

How does the 501 (c) 3 entertwine with Naitonal Council of Churches? Does one have anything to do with the other? One video I watched said they do, but I don't think so.

We are in judgment already of loving proportions. GOD has tried again and
again to call HIS people back to their first love and out of unholy alliances.
When the “leaders” fail to heed the call AGAIN, America is lost and unprecedented judgment is upon the nation. Not because of abortion practitioners or sexual deviants but because of the very church that is supposed to be the “Light of the world” the shinning city upon a hill”, the salt of the earth is no longer that.
VERY FRIGHTENING when men & women of such stature make unholy alliances, refuse to exercise faith in the GOD while holding themselves out as church leaders.

Would you not rather stand before God and give an account of having voted for a Christian who really has our country at heart with him not being elected, or stand and answer your Heavenly Father that the man you voted for advanced this country toward a global economy and a one world government that the Anti-Christ will rule?
If you and those who respect you were encouraged to stand behind Dr. Baldwin, we could make a real stand for liberty and justice for all.

There is no such thing. It is the individual that has integrity or not, being a Christian does not give one integrity. Most of us know that there are many, many people sitting in the front rows of churches that have more evil and done more crimes than I could count. I personally know many of these people and their fraud makes me sick. Unfortunately, many of the church leaders are convincing their constituents to hate others from different faiths, and they are being used to carry out the wars of the elites by getting on board with votes and tainted thinking. If there was ever anything non-Christian, it would be hatred based on another's religion. ....and that seems to be running rampant. The brainwashing that is going on in churches is, in my opinion, hastening the end of this country faster than almost anything else.
Thank goodness for the Christians, like you Lynn, that are smart enough to realize what is going on in the world. Given the agenda of the powers that be, Christians (or any other religion) that question little are a detriment to freedom. ( Ronnie Reagan: "Trust but verify")
If I offend here, so be it; I only know the truth as I know it. For the frequent church-goers here, I think you'll agree that you have to shake your head at the thinking of many in your congregations....and probably some of the statements by the speaking authority in a respective church.

I've been waiting for this and wondering when it would happen. This false shepherd will lead his "sheep" to the slaughter. As if there were only 2 options to choose from for so-called evangelicals,,,makes me sick! Dobson says, "I have considered the fact that the elections always involved imperfect candidates, there are no perfect human beings and you always have to chose between two flawed individuals, that's the way we're all made," he said.
Wake up, Dobson! And this quote from a senior McCain aide is priceless...
"Our campaign is working diligently to build even greater support for Senator McCain's message of reform, prosperity and peace, so we are encouraged by signals of additional supporters and new venues for our conversation with voters," said McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds.
Since when does McCain have a message of "peace"
