Thank you all for the great input for this thread. It's wonderful that people on the DP are aware of three facts:
1.) Though we are all here to support Dr.Paul in his efforts to restore the Constitution of the united States (since this struggle is of importance for us all), the struggle for personal freedom transcends national boundaries.
2.) All nations have a (sometimes hidden) history and more or less strong tradition of resistance against oppression and struggle for personal freedom.
3.) This struggle is not only a political but also a cultural one.
May sound a bit dry, but basically it does mean we may not only gain a lot of strength but also a lot of fun by listening to and supporting one another.
Having said this, I think it's worthwile to pursue the idea further. You all know, I very much like the DP, but for various reasons it's far from being an ideal place to work on this idea further. It's a pitty I don't have the time and not yet the skills to open a platform on its own.

It's really deep in the night here in Europe and I should definetly be fast asleep. But I think something significant is now up and it would be a disgrace to let it pass.
When I was just about to log out, jshowell came up with this thread http://www.dailypaul.com/... and I realized, that the Daily Paul sometimes is a great place of congeniality. jshowell really has to get the prize for the idea and the stencil, but I guess the idea wouldn't have appeared for him the way it did without Brit4RonPaul starting a thread on founding libertarian parties in Europe some weeks ago and Fabio's initiative for the 12th of July event in Munich and his citation of the brave "White Rose"-group http://en.wikipedia.org/w....
There are real great and very individualistic people around here, each endowed with her/his own distinctive amount of stubborness, wisdom, imagination and "crazyness" (I won't mention names) and I am glad I have got closer (online) contact with some of you now. Beside all the great American guys and girls here there are a bunch of people from various countries. And I guess the idea to brace this "global community" with a distinct "brace" like the "Campaign for Liberty" lies in the air for some weeks.
I personally didn't join the "Campaign for Liberty" since I think, it's a specifically US-American project and it would water down the iconcept if its membership is internationalized. You may object, since I know many "Internationals" did join, but I think it neither does help the Americans nor the "Aliens".
Maria Slodowska and I still work on a European C4L-like platform. Though I am of the opinion the continental/regional, national and the local levels of the Liberty movement should be developed this way, the concept jhoswell and I were after (seperatly) is really an international one. While jhoswell "international party" provides for cultural event (and I too think it is important to have something local in the real world) my idea is that of a permanent cooperation, providing on a later stage not only for an internet platform but for exchange programms and perhabs some worldwide infrastructure. The "White Rose" is a powerful symbol and it can cover both ideas : the International Parties and something I always thought of as the (International) Fellowship for Freedom . "Fellowship of the White Rose" is a great name for it.
Perhabs this is just late-night raving, but I would find it great, if you like to discuss these ideas

White Rose Flag
The county of Yorkshire has a White Rose flag and they are widely available on Ebay. This flag goes back many centuries to the "War of the Roses" . Yorkshire people are known for its outspoken and independent mindedness an perhaps adopting their flag may could be an idea. Also lapel badges are available. (Search Yorkshire Rose)
Just a thought ..... unless there is a definite prior design already associated with the earlier movement.
It's a pretty flag, but
we may be confused with the apologists of Richard III - LOL. Though he apparently was not the villain as portrayed by Shakespeare we should stay away from War-of-the-Roses-issues. I think the Lone White Star-flag is still the best.

I was part of this post and I'm really glad to have contributed. I'm going to make some flags out of the stencil to tell people I'm having a White Rose Party-Can we make this go viral? I'd love to see White Rose Flags on my neighbors houses.

I guess it's simply congeniality. It's not clear where the 'Weiße Rose' - resistance group took its name. Though they knew many books, it's unlikely they knew about Martí. In the German wikipedia it is written, Hans Scholl told under interrogation by the Gestapo they took the name from the title of a book by B.Traven http://en.wikipedia.org/w....
But perhabs he just mentioned it to cover the true motives of the group. I guess they choose the name because the white rose seems to be something pure and beautiful, in contrast to the ugliness of war and oppression under the Nazis.

This made me think of a poem
I wrote years ago. I called it "Blossoming"..but I
suppose it could also apply to Liberty/Freedom or Lady Liberty almost dying but being revived by love:

An idea about organization
The White Rose could have a totally organic organization based on the parts of a rose. Here are my thoughts, which might seem too metaphorical, but bear with me:
Roots-In nature they collect nutrients, water and direct growth of the rose. In the organization the roots would disseminate and coordinate information, form strategy and tactics to continue growth.
Stem & Thorns- The backbone and defense/offense of the natural rose. The stem also carries nutrients to the other parts of the plant. The media warfare and preparation for defense would be this branch of the organization.
Leaves-Collect sunlight and form a transport system for the plant. The day to day administration of the roots directions and collection of new members and ideas can be this part of the organization.
Rose-The generation of life from the pollination of flowers. The most ephemeral, beautiful and powerful part of the organization is the culmination of all the other parts into events that propel growth. Events like rallies, parties, marches, demonstrations, etc.

I think your's is the correct latin, I ran the words "Liberty, Prosperity, Peace" through an online latin translator and it returned "Licentia, Prosperitas, Pacas"... I think it gave me the wrong translation words...

We should check this. I have only small latin. I had my doubts on licentia ( I am afraid it may mean "Libertinage"), but I trusted in liveFreedom's translation. I know some people who know latin and I will ask them.

Let’s examine these 2 Latin roots in context by using them in a sentence and see what we learn:
