WAYNE ALLYN ROOT is against Neo-conservativism.

I've seen a claim here that Wayne Root, Barr's VP candidate, is a neocon. But it's not true. He is against nation building and spreading democracy around the world, a defining characteristic of neoconservativism. Does he support going after terrrorists? Yes, of course he does. So does Dr. Paul, who wanted to invade Afghanistan to go after terrorists. Supporting going after terrorists in other countries is NOT neoconservativism.
Barr makes it clear in this interview that he is not a neoconservative:
Columbia Tribue: Do you believe in a foreign policy that avoids military entanglements?
Root: Absolutely. The lesson I learned from Iraq is it’s a disaster when you run around the world spending a trillion dollars stuffing democracy down throats of people who don’t want it. I don’t think we should be doing that. I don’t think we can afford to do that. … I was a fan of Afghanistan, going in originally. I think we’re probably in Afghanistan now too long. The job is to go, depose your enemy and leave, not to stay occupied.

wow so a statement he made yesterday will wipe off his past. I mean his recent past. I mean like in February of this year or like his endorsement of a MCCain Lieberman ticket or his $1000.00 donation to NeoCon Joe Lieberman or so many other things. Im tired of exposing his ass. Anyone who believes him or follows him(Root) is a sheeple. They will support and camapign for him at their own risk. I give up on warning people or trying to make a difference. F*CK POLITICS

Also, Root is confused about intervention. Yes, it is true that a small group of radicals will hate us whether we interfere or not, but he does not seem to realize that such interference incites even MORE anger towards America.
Maybe he does now.
Few people understood that before Dr. Paul educated people on this.
