How to completely kill the mainstream media for trying to kill the Internet
We need to step up an attack on the mainstream media as they are killing the Internet and are killing people with misinformation. Don't buy any movies and music from Viacom, GE, CBS, Sony, Time Warner, News Corp, and Disney. We can retroactively boycott their DVDs, CDs, and books because unlike gas which you use up, you can sell or trade your entertainment at a used store or craigslist/ebay. Then go buy food, Berkey water filters, generator, gas masks, or alternative media. If you want to know who owns what use stopbigmedia.com, savetheinternet, riaaradar.com, and a2im.org/
We can also vote on IMDb.com to knock their movies out of the top 250 and independent movies into it which will affect sales. You can do it while listening to the radio. Here's the list and what to vote

The IMDB attack is working
The IMDB attack is working well. We knocked Juno and a few others out. If you haven't voted patriots, do it!
No End in Sight is very good
No End in Sight is very good and I agree with the idea of only watching movies that wake you up. I might also suggest Taxi to the Dark Side which you can watch on YouTube.
Two movie
documentaries I got for Christmas. Real eye openers "The Fog of War"
Excellent it is about the Viet Nam sham. The other is "no end in sight"
Excellent also it is about the Iraq sham. If you buy something buy what wakes you up not put you to sleep. Peace
Boycott yes...push indies, nah
I understand the premise behind pushing independent movie makers, but I haven't met an independent movie maker that liked or trusted. If they get big, they'll just join the MSM.
Instead of pushing indie movie makers, I'll push my neighborhood mom and pop stores and 'US made' stores. It is much less likely that they will become the next Walmart.
Anyway, not only will I boycott the entertainment industry, I'm trying my best to boycot Big Bank, Big Pharm, Big Oil, etc. I get up extra early and leave early so I have no traffic during my commute (saves more gas than car pooling!). I moved all my accounts from Bank of America to a local bank. I try to buy stuff from individuals via the internet. And so on.
I have severely limited my movie going, but I guess I can stop altogether. Jeez, how can I live without seeing Step Brothers!
Yes I recommend mom-and-pop,
Yes I recommend mom-and-pop, made-in-USA, and also boycotting big banks, big food, and big gas.
Yeah I don't watch much stuff myself but some people can't live without entertainment so the independently-distributed stuff is the best alternative to stuff like Batman which will just be pumped into the Time-Warner machine.
We are doing a great job
We are doing a great job with the boycott. DVD sales are 20% dominated by the little guys. Don't support the big guys at all and we can get it to 25% if you spread the word.

You missed a couple
Next time list all of them!
That sounds like a good
That sounds like a good video but Obermann is on MSNBC which is owned by GE, I'm saying not to support them at all. Their news organizations aren't profitable at all anymore so they are all funded by their movies. It's a constant self-feeding system where they advertise their movies on their TV networks and give them good reviews in their newspapers. But if you support the small companies like Lionsgate, IFC, Weinstein, etc. then you aren't supporting the New World Order. It's true they can print up money but it will increase inflation and wake people up.
how does attacking our
how does attacking our favorite movies with meaningless internet ratings help with anything?
That's not the solution...
Topple the media icons. They feed off each other, anyway. The latest ascending star is Keith Olbermann, who is, at the same time, demolishing media has-beens, such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly. I put together a devastating, sarcastic, funny, bawdy slide show / video on Olbermann months ago, and have been asking for help with the narration ever since. NOBODY has followed through to help.
I have a speech impediment that prevents me from doing the narration.
However, with a few of these on YouTube and viral, we can topple all of them, as well as expose their masters.
News to me...
I'd need technical help (I might be able to get that local to me).... but I'd give it a stab.
Not sure if the contact link here at DP works, I'll try yours. Maybe you have another way for us to get in touch?
