I am banned
I did not want to override Michael Nystroms system, but with a little help here I am. I will say my password is a lot harder to remember and I may not last long, Michael may cut my cord, but. I wanted to say you have all done a great job getting www.dvds4delegates.com promoted and funded, but we still have a little ways to go. I think I got banned because after looking at the posting guidelines(after I was already banned) I realized I had broken every posting rule about one thousand times, I wasn't aware of the rules Michael so I will apologize. I will say I am not sorry for supporting Ron Paul until the very end, until it is impossible to get him elected. I am open to possibly voting for Baldwin, if Ron Pauls chances are 0%, and only if they are 0%, but we must focus on Ron Paul until he is no longer a possibility. www.dvds4delegates.com is a great and last way we can get him elected. As far as Jdayh goes, he emailed me and told me his intentions were good, and that he would never try to fraud us. I will say while I feel this is the case, I cannot guarantee anyones character on this site, and if you would like to donate to www.dvds4delegates.com the only sure way to do it is through the website, not any third party. Like I said, I get good vibes from Jdayh, but I cannot guarantee his intentions for all of you, so to be safe donate directly to the site. Also I will note we no longer have to post threads on www.dvds4delegates.com as we have a great thread to bump with Edward Griffin in it. I have now realized multiple posts on a particular subject is against the posting guidelines, as for me I realized this a little too late. Anyway, it is great to see you all rally behind a great project and grab onto that fire once again. That is what you have to do to make things happen. This may be my last post under this name because I may get caught and banned again, so I will only post when it is completely necessary, I may have to consistently sign up as a new member to do this, so I will post when I feel it is important. I am glad to see certain others get banned from this site also, those who were here to stop our efforts at getting Ron Paul elected. You probably know who I am talking about. I will ask one favor of you, and that is please take a minute while on dailypaul and bump the Edward Griffin dvds4delegates project from time to time so they can achieve the funding goals they need to make the project a reality. Like I said I am not afilliated with the project, I have chosen to afilliate myself with it by promoting and donating to it. Yes, I am still alive, I just can no longer put my name out there as much. Thank you to all who were concerned as to my well being, I am not going anywhere, I am in it to win it for Ron Paul.
P.S. this is Tog2476
Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got banned from youtube
I got banned from youtube for supporting Ron Paul, so i know a little how you feel. I had over 400+ videos and 400+ people that were RP supporters to contact and I was gone in a day.
Doing something wrong is a matter pf perception. Who is doing the perceiving, that is one reason we have to oppose the REAL ID.
new meetup for RP: http://ronpaul.meetup.com...
Daily paul is the only place I know how to operate
I am not very good at computers so for me to promote this site on You Tube, etc. is something I do not have the ability to do. I am satisfied with bumping the Edward Griffen thread now, you will see no more posts on the topic unless it is very necessary. You may see me bump the Edward Griffins thread from time to time though, or if something important comes up with the project. Be happy, this project got it's first dvd shipment funded because of determination. Was it worth the sacrifice of the thread overload? I think so. Now that we are all aware of it let's promote the project on other sites in the same manner we did here. If we thought it was hard to raise awareness here, I can't even imagine how hard we will have to work it outside of here. Keep up the great work. I agree that I broke the rules and I am not upset that I was banned. Understand I was just hoping our excitement would build excitement up in the rest of you, and it seems like it did. It feels good to be excited about this project.
Good to see you back, Tog
Even in exile he's still pushing the DVDs4delegates! Thanks for everything, Tog.
You could take a lesson from legalizeliberty
He is promoting dvds4delegates on youtube, and in other places where people can see it and get involved.
I have seen guests sign in,and say that they come here for all kinds of info.
9/11,economy,impeachment,preparation,latest news on Dr. Paul, are all subjects people are interested in. This is the reason they keep coming back.
When there are 10 out of the 20 active forum topics that are spam,it makes people want to leave.
I am for the project.I am not for plastering the DP with it. I am for finding ways to reach out to other sites, and promoting this.
If you put as much effort into promoting DVDs on other sites as you do here, you might have better results. Preaching to the choir, aint gonna work. We need the choir to sing to the farthest reaches of the internet.
thank you Ignobliss!
yes its very easy to operate on youtube posting comments
just establish a certain target group of videos and post dozens of comments that make people either curious or in the case of the faithfull RP supporters restore their hope in victory.
I target the most popular political videos of the day first then I go to old famous RP videos and then to McCain videos
here is a sample~

I thought about starting a petition-thread on your behalf for Michael. Wonderful he is about to unban you.

I am not suprised
This whole dvds for delegates thing has turned into far more than an irritating occasional occurrence. You say you weren't aware of the rules but Jack Parkman just a short while ago posted a thread reminding people of the rules we all agree to, he didn't name any names , and did it in a very polite way but all the dvds for delegates group just attacked him. Even in your post you tag off the dvds for delegates four times, way too much.
I'll be happy when the convention is over and this all just goes away.

Thank you.

I was grateful to see us all rally behind a project once again
it is momentum like that, that will keep this Revolution exciting and lasting. Let me ask you this, what would our founding father's say about us all who were "overzealous" in our efforts? Whenever I involve myself in a project for the Revolution, I always ask myself first, "What would the founding fathers do?'' I think they would have already resorted to taking up arms. I am sorry for inconveniencing you in any way on this site, it really is disturbing to know some on here were inconvenienced by our efforts. You should be proud to see us rally behind this not disgruntled.

Did this have to do with
The 50% of the active forums being about DVD4Delegates. Cause if it was then I side with Nystorm. Thats 50% in one evening. Spam. I call it like I see it.
Not sure
You'll have to ask Michael. My gut tells me that might have been a factor, but then again a lot of other people were caught-red-handed-guilty of all sorts of spamming violations, and it seems they weren't banned (though one of them mentioned that she got an email from Michael).
SSgT- We find ourselves on opposite sides of some issues here, but it's good to see you are taking a reasonable viewpoint on this. If two people who've had "lively debate" as much as you and I can see eye to eye on this, that's gotta tell you something.
True
Critical thinking and analyzing can create arguments. Without which everyone would just agree. That then would take all the fun out of debate. As pertaining to the issue at hand you have already laid out before those attached to this pet project the rule. I for one in seeing so many of their posts clogging up the active forums flipped a switch. The switch was my willingness to donate or not to donate. The more they spamed the less inclined I became to donate. I wish them luck. Though spamming the supporters of this great cause? No I cannot support such actions nor what those actions support.
Disdain for this site and its rules...
That's what you're showing, TOG, with every comment in this thread.
Even your explanations are disingenuous. "I did not want to override Michael Nystroms system," is what you say. But your actions are just that: "overriding" and circumventing his decision!
By continuing to post in this fashion and passive-aggressively complaining about your punishment, you are showing complete disrespect for private property (this site) and its owner's right to control it. You're insulting the owner by (loudly) refusing to abide by his decision.
Iamstillhere (tog) writes:"This may be my last post under this name because I may get caught and banned again, so I will only post when it is completely necessary, I may have to consistently sign up as a new member to do this, so I will post when I feel it is important."
Here we go again. So you're basically going to keep putting on new disguises to enable trespassing? You later say "I will abide" but you aren't abiding now.
This isn't a second chance. It's probably not a third or fourth chance either. The forum guidelines were posted. I even went out of my way to link to them many times, and created a thread to remind people of some of the relevant provisions. You commented on that thread. You wrote today that "In all seriousness I never saw the rules," But you knew the rules, but choose to ignore them when you unilaterally decide it's worth it.
That's not the way the world works, and that's not the way this site should work. If we were all free to decide which rules to abide by, we'd have anarchy and this site would be a mess. Even in "thanking everyone" you manage to spam in 3 more gratuitous links to the project you're promoting.
Frankly, I don't see how this thread has any overall relevance to the campaign. You're not spamming not for a project, but out of self-indulgence and ego.
To NotOverYet and others: I'm not working on banning anyone. I didn't even backchannel anyone and request such a banning. I said my piece, and you've all been made well-aware of the rules. Ignorance is no longer an excuse, and I trust Michael Nystrom to enforce his own guidelines. I've noticed a dramatic improvement in the last few days, but if I see a flagrant flouting of the rules I'll be sure to point it out.
I hope we can all move on to constructive yet reasonable efforts to help the movement. I'm not saying the project you've been promoting isn't constructive, but the way in which a handful of people have gone about promoting that project has gone beyond the point of diminishing returns to the point of counterproductivity and annoyance. Everyone who frequents these forums knows about the project. If they haven't decided to get involved, the umpteenth gratuitous posting of the day isn't going to sway them. That's not the way most people think. If anything, it will have the opposite effect and convince them that the folks behind such a project are annoying egomaniacs. I'm not saying you're hearts aren't in the right place, but you really ought to put some thought into how your efforts will be perceived.
I'll end this unnecessarily long post with this thought: the rules exist for a reason. We should respect that. Want to change them? Talk to Michael Nystrom or start a postive, constructive thread that makes the case for new rules. But when we venture on to this "property" we agree to abide by the laws of the land. Opting to ignore those rules in pursuit of some other objective is only going to backfire and make this site a less pleasant porthole for the revolution.
Sincerely,
JP
Mr. Parkman
with the fraud alert about Jdayh, and me being a tenacious suppporter of the project, and with his sudden disappearance and my disappearance, I thought it might look suspicious and take all credibility of the project away. Remember Ron Paul saying sometimes it takes civil disobedience, I was just my own right to civil disobedience so I could let everyone looking for me know that www.dvds4delegates.com was genuine, and that I did not disappear because of this fraud thing. I think what makes this site less pleasant is when people call the people who are doing something to make a difference a nuisance. I forewarned everyone on my first initial threads promoting this project that I had promised myself I would post a thread on it everyday, you were warned many times that I was going to post this numerous times. The reason I put it under some catchy thread titles, was not to lure anyone in, it was to have some fun with the promoting of it. Your assumptions of me feeding my ego are incorrect. I depend on noones acceptance or rejection to make me who I am. I depend on noone and that is why I am overzealous. I will do a job myself if that is what it takes. It is great to see people support my efforts on here and it does make me feel good, I am human, but in no way do I need someone to encourage me to help me continue to do what I feel is right Mr. Parkman. On the other hand no one can discourage me in doing what is right either. Where there is a will there is a way, and I will always find a way. Help with the project if you want, and if you don't that is fine too. You seem like you have great writing skills, maybe you could volunteer for the project and help them out with the skills you possess. Enough with this destructiveness, join us and let's do something positive. We don't need enemies on here, we have enough of them we have to take care of in the political arena.
In Liberty,

Lisa, my dear, I was creating threads, directing internet traffic, heck -- creating entire websites -- to help this movement, months before you signed up here. I posted in over a dozen threads -- some of which I created -- before you signed up.
Why don't you take 30 seconds, quit attacking me, and do a little research. Click on my name. Read a year's worth of my postings. Hell, read one from 6, 8, or 10 months ago. If you still think I'm an "agent" after that, we'll talk about getting you some professional help.
I don't know how long you've been here
and really don't care because it really is not an accurate indicator of ones intentions. The only time I have ever see you pop up to post anything is to try to push the "rules" agenda is whenever there is something going on that is enthusiastic about supporting Ron Paul, which since this is still a RP supporters site, I find questionable. The thread you started a while back about being "civil" was clearly to negate the "Ron Paul or nothing wachos" as you put in such an uncivil manner. You went on to call more people names than anyone has ever done here. Now you show up to complaing about "spamming" for the delegate DVD project that you have a problem with. My question to you is if you have been around here for so long where were you at when we had months of thread after thread of Bob Barr insults, name calling, spamming for support and money that was burying everything else. You seem to be very selective about what you object to and the "rules". Where there is smoke there is fire.
Posting styles are very similar to a recently banned poster
Almost identical concerns too.

Are we not
Adults here. If there are rules why cannot some of us follow them? We don't need moderators if we all follow the rules. Why is that so hard.
It's not hard SSgt.
I disagree, however, with Jack appointing himself "Secretary of Guidelines".
He's gone for weeks/months at a time and just jumps on and starts acting like my elderly aunt? It's not his role. He's no different than the guy that drives around in a buggy giving parking fines except that he wasn't hired.
Like I said, if Michael says that Jack's a moderator, that's fine but it's the assumption on Jack's part that he's the "guidelines" man. Seems to me, the DVD "spam" only increased the more Jack waggled his finger at people.

Gee, that's mature
Lisa, do you have anything nice or constructive to say? I mean, I should feel bad that you hate me so badly, but given the silly nature of your criticism (and calling me "Agent"), I don't. I'm more worried about your mental well-being.
Being against spam and supporting an efficient forum shouldn't make me the bad guy. I'll wager dollars to donuts that I've converted more people to Ron Paul through common-sense measures than the promoters of a certain project will ever convert with a million "bumps." That doesn't mean we're on different teams. It just means we don't always see eye to eye on the best way to expand the movement.

Hey, I'm happy you think you've converted people. It doesn't give you the right to trash another's project -- especially one as important as the DVDs, so stop patting yourself on the back and GET OUT OF THE WAY!
The best way to expand the movement is for you to stop acting like the old man in the neighborhood that is always telling the kids to get off his grass!

Egg, egg, and more egg
Lisa,
This will probably be my last post on this thread, as I'd like to see it fade away. But allow me to set you straight, because you're really making yourself look bad.
Lisa writes: Where were you months (even weeks) ago?
I've already answered this above, but allow me to elaborate. Where were you a year ago? 11 months ago? 10 months ago? You weren't signed up here. I was. I was hard at work when you were nowhere to be found. I'm not implying that you weren't helping Ron Paul's campaign in some other fashion, but you make yourself look pretty stupid when you attack me for "not being here" when the only verifiable activity we have at our fingertips (how long members have been on this site and what they've written) shows that I've been around longer than you.
Lisa writes: All of a sudden you show up and have nothing better to do than antagonize Daily Paulers and send emails to manystrom?
Show up? Again, I've been here for quite a while. And I never emailed Michael Nystrom, let alone have I emailed him about the recent spamming/candidate-bashing fiascos. How's that egg taste?
Lisa writes: Hey, I'm happy you think you've converted people. It doesn't give you the right to trash another's project -- especially one as important as the DVDs, so stop patting yourself on the back and GET OUT OF THE WAY!
1. I never trashed the DVD project. I criticized the counterproductive measures some people were using to promote it.
2. Seeing as how you support Dr. Paul, you should know I have a "right" to "trash" another's project if I choose to exercise it. It's called the First Amendment. And even though I haven't "trashed" the project, as you suggested, I don't need to "earn" the "right" to do so if I'm so inclined. I get that right from my creator.
3. You really like eggs, don't you?
Lisa writes: The best way to expand the movement is for you to stop acting like the old man in the neighborhood that is always telling the kids to get off his grass!
The best way to expand the movement is to be energetic but respectful. It's to spread the message but make sure the message is spread in a manner that won't offend or "turn off" people. The movement needs some rowdy kids, but the movement also needs some "old men" to suggest boundaries. If you really think your crackpot routine helps this movement, I have news for you: it doesn't. You're sitting in an echo chamber giving online "high-fives" to people you already agree with. The extreme views -- and extreme methods of spreading them -- on the fringes of this movement are going to attract very few new supporters while simultaneously turning off millions of others who might otherwise come our way if they heard the message presented in a more artful manner.
The real "agents" of destruction in this movement are people like you, I'm sorry to say. They're good people, generally, who have their hearts in the right place but can't keep their mouths shut because they enjoy the taste of their own feet. They're the Ron Paul supporters who don't approach potential converts with the best parts of Ron Paul's message, but choose instead to talk about 9/11 conspiracies, chemtrails, black helicopters, or other issues that are going to make the average person think, "This guy's nuts!" Or they come on too strong.
Either way, we are our greatest enemies. Could their be "infiltrators?" I suppose. But I've met some of these people and they're not plants. They're good people who don't know how to communicate in a reasonable and persuasive manner.
Goodbye Jack.
Let's agree to ignore each other. I've had enough of you.
This is Michael's site. Please remember that.
I am not a crackpot and I'm not high-fiving anyone. Don't assume you know me or what I, and other DPers, have done for this movement.
