Subliminal message in my RNC letter ?

I got a letter from the Minnesota RNC asking for contributions and included a refund application. My name John, is correct throughout the various forms. However, on the "sample" refund check it has my name in the pay field, but at the top tear-off part, it says "You're right, Ron...this is an offer that's too good to pass up !" .............
Anyhow, I thought it was kind of strange, maybe creepy. Anyone else see this in their letters?

Listen to this nonsense! Talk about scumbag tactics.. Now they are resorting to TRICKING the money out of people.

Dear friend,

I don't want to believe you've abandoned the republican party but I have to ask... Have you given up?

Our records show we have not yet received your Republican National Committee membership renewal for the critical 2008 presidential election year.

As treasurer of the RNC I know our party's success depends directly on grassroots leaders like you.

So I am suprised and concerned especially because I know how generously you supported President Bush and the RNC in the past. You helped to advance our vision for America and elect republicans at all levels of government.

I know other things come up, and perhaps you've just been delayed in renewing your membership. If that's the case I understand.

Yatta yattta yattta ..

ROFL

"I know how generously you supported President Bush and the RNC in the past" ------- I never donated a dime to either of them .

I got one fron the Republican National Committee two days ago.

Mailed it back today. I politely suggested they reconsider putting McCain up against Obama, said there was only one person I have spoken to in the last 2 years that actually supports McCain. Pointed to the fact that Paul's popularity continues to rise daily. However, coward that I am, the part that recommended the National Comm. members need to remove their craniums from their rectal region got edited. (I will probably regret that decision the rest of my life. )

I think you're right that is
