Playboy's May 2008 issue has William Redpath as the LP candidate?

A friend of mine asked me if I was going to ..."Vote for that libertarian dude Redpath?"

"Redpath?" I said, "you mean Bob Barr? No, not going to vote Barr".

He said, "No the libertarian presidential candidate, William Redpath".

I said, "I think you've got the story all messed up. Bob Barr is the Libertarian presidential candidate."

Well he bet me 10 push-ups (yeah, we are cheap like that) and we agreed who ever is wrong would do the 10 push-ups.

Well he's in the other room now doing the pushups. In his defense he brought over the May 2008 issue of Playboy. There it was on page 40 an interview by Robert Levine, (whoever that is) with William Redpath (where ever he's from I have no clue).

It says right there that, "William Redpath, the Libertarian presidential Candidate....with Ron Paul's presidential candidancy for the Republican nomination finished, we discussed the movement with Redpath, who has already secured his place on the November ballot."....

Well that is all strange. First, why would Redpath represent that to Robert Levine and Playboy? And or how did Robert Levine and Playboy get such false info?

Who is this William Redpath, and why was he not at the LP convention?

Can anyone fill me in on what happened? Who is this William Redpath anyway?

PS.... I think its high time Ron Paul does a Playboy interview and let the strongly liberal-libertarian leaning readership know about the Campaign for Liberty and whats going down in St. Paul in Sept.
