What happens if some of us start disappearing?

Shouldn't we have some way to contact each other and communicate of we start disappearing? I know it sounds extreme, but I always prepare for the worst. Or in the case that the start blocked in the internet from us. It pretty much is our lifeline right now. Without the internet we would not be organized at all.
I am not sure about solutions. Maybe shortwave radios?

have two people who you are in contact with always checking
each of them should have one more, and we build a network of people. One should be physically near you, one should be an internet only contact. A designated time frame should be given - daily, weekly, whatever makes you feel covered. If you drop off the radar of one contact, then and ONLY then do your two contacts talk to each other to confirm both of them have lost track of you. Then they raise the alarm on any forum they can.
Yeah, I think too much. Then, I wonder: Once the alarm was raised, would anyone respond? Or would they sit, glued to the computer, waiting for news?

jackets that said "CFR" on the back of them, go to a few houses in my neighborhood and forced some people out of their houses and into vans and drove off. There were stickers on their mailboxes too.

We probably could walk down the street saying, "Who do we want?" and waiting for someone to reply "Ron Paul" and then, we'd respond, "Why do we want him?" and if they replied "Freedom!" then we'd have found each other again.

I have thought about
the same thing. It is very important to keep an eye on your community and what is happening around you. Post any suspicious activity here then the rest of us can see what is happening in our community. We may not be able to come to each others rescue we can at least give a Paul Revere warning.

there is a phone number to call on a specific day and time right after shit hits the fan.
personally i'm in for having a network to keep dibs on each of us. how else will we know when people start getting pulled.
