this step, lowering the financial power of a country, thru devaluation and therefore, less empowerment of the citizens, had always been the first step by the international bankers to have overall control.
the bankers had been doing this for decades around the world--and created a new class of countries-the third world. before we, the philippines was brought to its knees the second time this century-1960s-70s, we were second only to japan in terms of economic might. yes, our country was violating the airspace of malaysia, and our philippine fleet was patrolling asia. our economic might was likewise impressive. a filipino was the UN secretary general[we were allied to latin american countries then]. btw, that un secgen, carlos p romulo, was on the hitlist of the cia for being "nationalistic".
then came the takeover of the US backed "strongman" ferdinand marcos who imposed martial law, and thru the imf and worldbank, was forced into loans under the pretext of infrastructure building. then, when we were safely under debt, the imf and wb forced the DEVALUATION of the peso. until now, we are paying for the debt. we cannot build roads without these foreign bankers say-so.
and inbetween, they force us against each other, like deflecting the currency issue as our poverty cause, but we are bombarded always that it is us filipinos, who are corrupt, and this corruption causes this poverty.
watch out america. for this is being done to you now. you are now in the sights of these bankers.
a weak dollar is the problem needed to force a clamor among uscitizens to adopt the impending new system of a new currency.
an economically weak citizen, will be forced to compete with each other for the remaining value of the money supply. expect always to be setup to fight amongst yourselves-divide and conquer. expect more thought stoppers, easy catch-all phrases to redirect you all from the actual causes. expect the mantra to be directed to the unthinking masses. expect it to be more like an emotional blackmail. for example, the imf and wb caused this rumor of an impending worlf food crisis. and lo and behold, gmo foods monopolized by monsanto is painted as the savior. when confronting this issue, us ambassadors quip "are you against stopping famine in africa?" emotional blackmail. it will be used against you all.
an economically weak us citizen will have diminished financial clout, hence, will have little impact on world affairs. no more clout. so a few will listen to your pleas, cause, you will not be important enough.

During the discussion about the value of the dollar, one of these guys states that the dollar was too high and that it sinking to the depths it has been- is great for our exports. Without missing a beat he goes on to cite China's devalued currency as being a problem (cheating) that should be corrected in order to improve our trade imbalance... Scratch head, note irony etc..
So if our Fed flushes the dollar down the toilet it's good- but if China does the same it's unfair?
I dunno, how about sound money and let the free market chips fall where they may. It's wild how much the power brokers love to meddle with currency rates.

Wish they would show the name plates. I don't recognize all these people. Who, for example, is the idiot who said, "If war breaks out with Iran, gas will go through the roof, but it won't be a problem because people will recognize the offsetting factor."
First, war is not going to "break out" with Iran. If there is a war, it will be because we have attacked them. Second, when people can't afford to feed their families, it doesn't matter a bit what the "offsetting factors" are. Do these guys live on the same planet as the rest of us?
There sure are some mindless idiots there, but Mr. Williams did seem to have a clue. Did anyone hear him give the number he had calculated for the money supply? The darned phone rang just as he was getting to that.

it's a fairly clever design they have going. There is a theoretical built in homeostasis to stabilize world currencies and the relative price of oil. Think about it. You create more dollars. The sellers of oil want more dollars, because they're less valuable. Foreign countries are required to hold more dollars because they need them to buy oil. The demand for the dollar increases its value. The price of oil goes down, leading to the foreign countries dumping the dollar.
Rinse, repeat.
The problem is, the system is perturbative. Over time, a generalized inflation still occurs. That would be alright, but how do you deal with 1) Significant supply shocks?
That has the potential to throw the homeo-static balance off.
Secondly, if you want to increase dollars for spending, you can bid up the price of oil commodity, thus increasing demand for dollars, but pull back the investment if the inflationary effect gets dangerous.
Again, the long term problem is that the balance is subject to perturbative chaotic effects.
He did sound like he had more of a clue than the other guy.
