BERLIN, Germany (CNN) -- Standing before a massive crowd in a city that once symbolized division, Sen. Barack Obama on Thursday warned about the dangers of allowing new walls to come between the United States and its allies.
"People of the world -- look at Berlin, where a wall came down, a continent came together, and history proved that there is no challenge too great for a world that stands as one," Obama said at Berlin's Victory Column in the Tiergarten park.
"The fall of the Berlin Wall brought new hope. But that very closeness has given rise to new dangers -- dangers that cannot be contained within the borders of a country or by the distance of an ocean," he said.
Obama said people of all nations must stand together to face challenges of the 21st century -- from terrorism to global warming to genocide.
"We cannot afford to be divided. No one nation, no matter how large or powerful, can defeat such challenges alone. None of us can deny these threats or escape responsibility in meeting them," he said.

It's irrelevant what Obama says... The system will still fall apart and he won't be able to save it. I have a feeling that the world is about to embark on a positive "New World Order" sorta speak. The elitists don't know what's going to hit them...

Look for much more coupling of "Obama" and "major" in the weeks and months ahead. It's like he is incapable of doing anything "minor", or that is what we're supposed to believe.

world unity is good
but not in the designs and machinations of a few. of course they want unity, a one-world setup-WITH THEM ON TOP, CALLING THE SHOTS.
the internet has evolved on its own to unify the world. a kind of organized chaotic system that evolved upon the needs of everyone, thus is useful to everyone, and no one controls it.
what these people have in mind is the opposite---one world, under their yoke, under their design, under their influence, and under their control. a worldwide permanent status quo with them on top.
even if they succeed, it will either be a fragile one, or the huge number of people around the world will subvert it to its own designs. no "linear" logical design can be imposed on a dynamic, nonlinear, system such as humanity.

sometimes I wonder if a sort of world unity would be good/what it would be like.....
but, here is what I've come up with..... it's inevitable to an extent... just look at modern technology.... the internet etc. the world is connected.... globalism isn't a bad thing, but there are two different kinds of globalism. There is the NWO kind and ours. I wouldn't mind having our philosophy spread across the world....
however, any unity that forces people to do something against their will, makes any of us dependent on others, etc. or is developed in secret/plotted out, I'm convinced, is evil.
