I'm not going to lay into the great scientist, because I used to hold the same misguided ideals myself. Luckily for Planet Earth, neither of us held political power.

It was a good letter. I think that genuine socialists tend to be acutely aware of Corporatism and Fascism, but make the critical error of throwing out the capitalist "baby" with the corporatist and fascist "bathwater". They imagine that limited government is impossible.
